Re: Ubisoft: Players "Don't Get" What Makes NFTs So Beneficial

Dirty0814

What I hear is, “ we won’t let you sell your items or games digitally for cash but we will introduce this crypto that we can charge you fees on and you can sell your dogital games and items then for less than what GameStop would give you for them and then pay more fees to transfer that crypto to real grown up money.
They could already implement a store to allow us to buy and sell our items but they do t want to do that when they get nothing out of it.
I’ll stick with physical or no game

Re: Death's Gambit: Afterlife Physical Edition Launches, DLC Is On The Way

Dirty0814

@abdias noted, I am returning my physical copy just because of the dlc crap. I’m not buying a physical game and having half of it in cartridge. Your review has added to me waiting to buy this. Either a huge discount for less than 10 is for game pass adds it. Tired of buying all these games and then them turning out like crap remakes of others.

Re: Death's Gambit: Afterlife Physical Edition Launches, DLC Is On The Way

Dirty0814

@Bunkerneath @Specter_of-the_OLED no game says definitive game, they always say definitive edition. I agree why even have a definitive edition if your releasing a dlc. Definitive editions always come with the dlc’s. Companies have released dlc’s like a year later after a definitive edition but this here is pretty ridiculous.

Re: Grand Theft Auto Trilogy's Physical Edition On Switch Launches Next Month

Dirty0814

@Bizzyb from what I’m seeing is Vice will be a download and I am betting all the patches are not on the cartridge either. Just not having all the games on the cartridge is a no go let alone the patches. I will look into the play asia version. Usually the Asian versions have English and include all patches and downloads. It may or may not include vice on the cartridge. I’ll update once I find out.

Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Is Being Added To Switch Online's Expansion Pack In February

Dirty0814

@MichaelP @NintendoByNature Nintendo is still supporting all their online. First they need to seal deals to use many games and that can become difficult sometimes today with companies changing hands and music rights and developer rights all depending on the game etc. They popped out a bunch real fast with the nes online just like their doing with the sega and n64 as they announced before it’s release even. I am sure they are working on other nes and snes titles but they are not going to tell us until it is close to complete. Who knows we may get a handful or only one or maybe ten. I am sure the same team is working on all of these transactions and emulations and it is probably a small team as well. In the end it is still better than ps now to me and millions of others. 26 million subscribers vs 3.5 million on ps now. Nes online has almost as many as Xbox game pass does which is actually a long awesome service and they have 28 million.
As the subscriber base and revenue fifties I would expect more games to come to the nes, snes, n64 and sega online. What most people do not realize is they have to pay for the rights and with some that’s a one time payment and others it’s a monthly, yearly payment. The online sub cost is what pays for those rights. As it grows more and more will come and even some top dollar games where the publishers are greedy possibly as well.

Re: First Activision, Now EA? FIFA Publisher Is Tipped For Takeover

Dirty0814

@moodycat nah Ibisoft actually has multiple games worthwhile. EA has failed for the last few years on everything and Activision put themselves in the bind their in and has really no games except COD which has been going downhill and WoW which has also been skydiving as well. Ubi will be fine and honestly I’d see Nintendo picking them up over anyone else if it happened.

Re: Talking Point: How Does Microsoft's Purchase Of Activision Blizzard Impact Nintendo?

Dirty0814

@UltimateOtaku91 they may not have the super graphics but Nintendo actually has more games that are fun than either company. Nintendo realizes that gaming is about fun and entertainment not being number one in game ownership although they still have more ips and active ips than either company as well. They will not be phased by this and I expect them to acquire more publishers and or make new divisions and come out with even more ips.

Re: Talking Point: How Does Microsoft's Purchase Of Activision Blizzard Impact Nintendo?

Dirty0814

First Nintendo is just as big as the other studios so this reticle is nothing but speculation. Second Nintendo has more IPs than Sony or Microsoft leaving it to be a extremely gaming company. It also has more active IPs than either of them as well. Nintendo doesn’t compete with either of these companies because it doesn’t have to at all. They continuously do what they want and that is to innovate and entertain. Nintendo will continue to thrive and laugh at anyone wanting to try and buy them and they will also be buying up companies as they see fit. Nintendo has over 1 trillion set aside for future expansions and purchases. They will be perfectly fine for the next 20 years at least.

Re: 'Pandemic' Will Apparently Be Removed From The Switch eShop This July

Dirty0814

@EVIL-C any smart person labels it all as it is. Doesn’t matter if it’s woke or socialism or communism or far left or right. I code one call it like it is period. I care less who’s feelings I hurt in doing so as well also. Simply put, if their going to talk the talk the they need to walk the walk. I’m open to any discussions but everyone has a platform.

Re: One Of The Rarest SNES Games Ever Is Making A Comeback

Dirty0814

@Funneefox right there with ya man, I got like 6 orders of about 15 games from Limited I’m still waiting on for over a year. I’ve done decided if I can get it from play Asia and it’s the Asian or I’m versions I’ll do that instead. Tired of this waiting crap it’s ridiculous.

Re: Dying Light 2 Will Take At Least 500 Hours To "Fully Complete"

Dirty0814

Flying light is a good game but it was not ever anything great. You literally run all over the place avoiding or killing zombies to do repetitive missions (storyline and side missions). There is literally nothing there to keep me entertained for that long in the second one at all and not even for 80 hours or even 60. I lose interest once I e done the same thing 10 times over and over.

Re: Dying Light 2 Will Take At Least 500 Hours To "Fully Complete"

Dirty0814

@TurtleTurtle the length of it doesn’t make it someone’s type of game. Having a game that long is just completely stupid when over 70% of it will be nothing but repeat side missions. That is literally tons of time the devs could have worked to make the actual game better or worked in another game and it’s literally 3-10 games of playing through other games. I also assume they will be doing bunches of dlc which will be included in this time which means the game will cost more than anticipated as well.
Having games that take over 2 months to play at 8 hrs a day is just stupid unless its a MMORPG or the such. There are just many other games I or anyone could play over wasting the time to try and 100% this at all.

Re: The 'Panda' GameCube Controller Kickstarter Has Been Cancelled

Dirty0814

@GannonBanned no I agree this is all about money. They will rerelease it for a higher price now and price gouge even more than they already were and it’ll end up with the mediocre quality of power a, pro and hori. I’ll stick with my GameCube wired controllers. I can buy plenty of them for the price of this thing and they are very durable.

Re: Dragon Quest X Offline Has Been Delayed Until Summer 2022

Dirty0814

I personally think it will be localized for the west. They have brought other titles recently to the west and they have done awesome which is a big plus. This will get them to put it out there, that and the fact it will probably be digital only and if it goes over well they may make a physical. The whole reason we are seeing many games getting localization is because of the ability to sell them digitally which saves companies a crap load of money and increases profits.

Re: Best Of 2021: Retro Nintendo Games Cost Too Much, But Nostalgia Is Expensive

Dirty0814

Nintendo just like all other companies have to pay to have these games ported to newer systems using different firmware than originally first of all, that takes time and lots of it. They also have to pay for rights and licensing and trademarks etc etc. They also expect to make a profit off of everything they do just like everyone else. There is nothing wrong with the prices. If anything Sony is the one that milks everything.

Re: NES Action Shooter 'Copper Jacket' Hits Funding Goal On Kickstarter

Dirty0814

@Specter_of-the_OLED most people back then still used rf still over a/v mainly because a/v was a newer thing and back then people didn’t buy new TVs every couple years they literally held onto their TVs for 10 years plus.
As for the controller I always hated them and the system itself was poorly made and wasn’t durable at all. My and everyone I know top loader does on them and so did the controllers but the front loader still works. Never seen a front loader that didn’t work unless it ended up with cut wires , smashed or moisture introduced to the circuit boards.
Front loaders were only worse because of the flashing screens which never bothered me. Once you figure out your system it was never a big issue, hell we still get games glitching out on us in this digital age so it’s really something that’s always been an issue.

Re: Five Sega Genesis Games Have Been Added To Nintendo Switch Online's Expansion Pack

Dirty0814

@Saturos1 they are probably still working on it. It has a lot to do with getting the licensing to be able to use the games from the publisher or people that own the rights. Then emulating I’m the games etc. There is more to it than most people think, I’ll guarantee they are still adding games though. Considering they usually do a couple for both consoles at a time if not a few it usually takes a little time to work out the contracts and stuff.
