Thunderful Games is one of the new kids on the game publishing and development block, and they've been gobbling up studios and businesses so fast that they've quickly become an important name to remember.
Founded by SteamWorld devs Image & Form and Stick It To The Man devs Zoink, the umbrella company now includes Coatsink (publishers of Moonglow Bay), Rising Star Games (publishers of Rune Factory and Harvest Moon in the West), and most recently, Robot Teddy.
Just today, they held their first live showcase of upcoming games — so here's our round up of all the games shown. Some of them are confirmed for 'consoles' only, rather than Switch specifically, but we've included everything announced because video games are cool wherever you play 'em:

It really looks bad when the console with the highest ownership barely gets any of the indie games announced during a live stream.
A stadia exclusive? I didn't know it had those.
@zapswitch Not for long. As soon as Netflix gets their crappy gaming service up and running for everyone, most of the folks who actually wanted stadia will dump it and just game from their Netflix accounts they’re already paying for.
I believe Cursed to Golf was previously showcased or announced for Switch. Looks good!
NGL, I didn’t even know Stadia was still a thing. Some of these titles look pretty neat! The indie scene is really something to behold nowadays. It’s insane to think we used to have 100+ games for N64 and now we have, what, 3,000+ games for Switch? So many to choose from. As an example I completely missed the title Murder House over Halloween and I sooo wish I had seen that and noticed it sooner. So many games you can miss some real gems.
I betcha those Stadia games would run better if they're on an actual gaming platform. Sad that Gylt had to suffer in the cloud for this long.
@ChromaticDracula We are spoiled for choice these days. Also I couldn’t believe that figure. Did the N64 really only have ~100 games?! Turns out it had about 300, in North America anyway. Still a tiny number by modern standards.
If a dev doesn't specify a Switch version, I don't expect one.
@faint Netflix will be just as successful as apple, stadia and amazon with gaming, not at all.
@mereel ah! Yikes I should’ve known that 300 was a more accurate number. You’re right. I’ve been *collecting (see below) N64 games for the last few years and I’ve been browsing lots of lists of the total lineup for the system.
But yeah it’s crazy how many games, and indie developers, there are now compared to then. There is certainly a lot of subpar stuff but there’s plenty of good to choose from too.
*By collecting I actually mean “rebuilding” my collection I sold years and years ago. 😂
@Dirty0814 You already have a Netflix gaming account if you have a subscription to stream movies and at no extra cost. That’s the difference.
@faint Really? In that case then more gaming for me. I'm paying for my family's sub and I barely even watch anything these days. Great that I will finally benefit from it!
Will be incredibly annoying if the new Steamworld game is also an Xbox exclusive!
@BongoBongo As an ambassador that would really really annoy me.
Which is also why it has almost no chance of happening unless ms buys Thunderful
