@Anti-Matter No there are a few free characters too like Joker and Hatsune Miku that you'll get.

@AmplifyMJ They don't need it to fight PalWorld however. Statements were being made that they could just pile legal fee's on palworld enough to force them out of the business. Palworld isn't even being sued for stealing designs they are being sued because the only thing they could get them on was for stealing a concept. Which is also stupid to begin with.

@jobvd To each their own, I find the stories very enjoyable and love games that go so in depth into their world building. Very few series even bother doing that and when they do those series wind up retconning it or the world building only matters for like a couple of games. I enjoy getting lost in other worlds.

@KociolekDoSyta Nice, I had to import my Zero and Azure editions from back in the day myself. I've been a Nihon fan since the Gargav trilogy. They make really good games I've always felt and they tend to care a lot about their world building in their series.

As a person whose bought every collectors for this series, I will be buying this and the dlc. The dlc is just fun stuff they have added every game :3 also generally is cheap stuff . Least they haven't done any story dlc ever.

@JJJAGUAR Its also not the collectors edition as this article states as there is one already and its JP exclusive. This is an unrelated thing as Pin Box makes several of these sorts of things for the Trails series in general.

Oh nice we have cats, I actually skipped this one back in the day so it be nice to finally play it. I wish they'd remaster Mystic Melodies though because I actually liked the buy the property gimmick from it.

Surprised anyone would care about ports of games from Ubisoft on future consoles (especially with most of their more modern games not being well loved by their fanbase) when we have most of their games already on current things and yet they are still failing.

The game is likely just not being cleared for a E for everyone rating and the creators just don't want to have a 14+ or 18+ rating on their game. Has nothing to do with censorship or anything. The ESRB board tends to play through the games to determine the appropriate rating for games. If it has drugs it by default needs to be rated for teens anyways according to the board as thats a rule they've had for ages.

@Agenerationofgens This is going on in japan courts where Nintendo seems to get whatever they want so I'm unsure how this will honestly go. A bunch of these patents should've have been cleared so quickly.

@Lofoten There are games with even more blatant pokemon rip offs.

@Mortenb because Palworld didn't copyright anything. There's literally other games that exist that have indeed copyrighted Pokemon yet no one seems to care about them, like Monster Crown. Monster Crown even has a tcg game they began making of it and they plan to do two versions of the games in the future and all.

@Lady_rosalina That would be a copyright claim then, not a patent infringement.

@shoeses Nintendo buries people under lawsuits just cus even when they are in the wrong. They have enough money to do this stuff and win just on the fact the other person can't pay to get out of the lawsuit. Youtubers have this happen all the time thanks to them.

@Dr_Lugae There are a bunch of other games that do the same thing. Pokemon doesn't own the patent for capturing monsters inside of balls.

@Dr_Lugae Except its a patent infringement not a copyright one. Copying pokemon characters would be a copyright infringement. Copying a concept itself is a patent infringement.

@IceClimbersMain That would indeed be copyright infringment. Patent infrigment would imply that Nintendo somehow owns the rights to monster-collecting. Basically Nintendo is stating they own the right to the concept.

@RygelXVIII Yes but generally with these things they have to get the company to sign something to permit their game to be revealed at specific events like a Direct which would include the date.

How did he not know, was it just some internal project he was discussing with them and he showed them a trailer and they decided to put it as part of the event without telling them?

@Drake My pc version has some mods to add a bunch of the evo stuff in so that might be one of the things it added honestly. Which is why I misremember it.

@Drake Field Attack was already a thing in Sky. You could kill enemies with it back then. You just had to be sufficiently leveled above them.

@Divide_and_Wander Yes its a remake of the first game that started it all. It would also be the most appropriate place to start the series really.

I cannot wait wooooo. I've been a huge legend of heroes fan for a long time and I cannot wait for the latest entry to come to the west finally.

I'll miss my physical games, I don't particularly care for pre ordering stuff these days outside of a few series.

@LadyCharlie The news outline don't care if it gets taken down, it just means they can make another article to get clicks when it does. So it is beneficial to them to do so.

@NintendoByNature Yes its a day 1 patch. A lot of the fixes are for bugs that exist still to this day in the physical release to.

@NintendoByNature Believe we have like 6 hours for the patch to drop.

@AZYotes5013 I'm buying it on Steam because some people are already talking about doing some mods to fix some old stuff that had to be cut due to licensing issues.

@JohnnyMind I do kindof wish we still had the old main line games that were 2D. Not that I hate 3D but I feel the 2D games were just better than our 3D games we've been getting.

Magical Melody is amazing solely due to the fact you could buy the entire towns plots and turn them into multiple farms. They've yet to do a game like that. Also I can't stand Stardew Valley. Game still lacks things that the story of season series has and I no longer like pixelated games like that.

Why should I have to suffer because all the news outlets decided to cover the glitches and thus got it brought to Nintendo's attention. Hell no am I updating until I'm done goofing off.

@ComfyAko What are you talking about? The Sky Trilogy the first games in the Trails series all had female protag's.

@Desrever The smash community would still play the original version of it. I guarantee they will not play a remake as they will complain in some way that it doesn't feel the same as the original. An they are very big on maintaining things in regards to their game. So this would probably just be a waste.

@tonyp1987 XSeed still owns the NA rights to all those games sadly and they won't give up the rights. Thats why nothing has been done with them. XSeeds and Nihons relationship is sortof fractured too. The best thing you will probably have happen is them remaking the Sky games as the CEO said he wanted to do some time to make them more modern. The first 2 Cold Steels probably will never occur though.

@Anti-Matter You can probably get the far superior version which is the Gamecube version also cheaper more than likely. The Gamecube version is better than all the other versions simply for the fact it actually ran at 60fps.

@fenlix There are a lot of people that hate Berseria because they hate anything associated with Zestiria. Those same people swear up and down any of the older Tales of games. In fact its a good portion of the fanbase who adores the older Tales of games and hates the newer stuff.
