Really cool, will so be my new fave Smash character. A real surprise since he has only been in two games on Nintendo systems to my knowledge, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded & Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. But with Smash and Final Fantasy Explorers, that be a total of four games.

With Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, and Namco all represented, I want to see some Konami back in the mix. Snake would be the easy choice since he's an existing character... but my vote went to Sparkster, Konami's forgotten mascot.

So they wait until it's almost finished until they announce it won't be coming to other platforms... I'm sure they would have been fully aware of this long before now.

If that multiplayer is 4 player split-screen, day 1 for me.

I loved light gun games to death in the day. Probably why the Saturn is my favourite system. It's a shame the tech can't be used anymore. It just isn't the same with Wiimotes, even with gun attachments.

@DiscoGentleman I hear ya. 4 player local is what it really needed to find its way into my home. Won't be much fun having to take turns so won't see much play time otherwise.

The lack of new software is really starting to get me down. What happened to the 3rd party support? Heck, even the Dreamcast had more momentum than this. I would really like to see some kind of bounce back... But I should look at it more realistically and pick up a PS4 once a slim or similar version launches since I don't think there is a lot more software ahead for the Wii U... regardless of how long it has left before the NX.

Easy fix, I drew a troll with no effort in a few seconds so don't care if he uses it. I call him the copyright-free troll.

Nintendo, Sega, Namco, and Capcom are all in the ring, kinda sad that Konami aren't represented this time.

Honestly, they shouldn't even be talking about another system. There may be no hope of taking away the crown from Sony this gen, but they weren't that far away from Microsoft, and if more effort went towards the Wii U, now more than ever in its time of need... it could have come a comfortable second... instead of feeling like a waste of money to people who brought it in hopes of having a system for the long haul. We may still get some really great games for it... but when the company behind it is already working on their next system and even tells you that, confidence in it goes out the window.

Metal Gear is everything to Konami. Seriously, on Konami.com under the games menu the options are to view Metal Gear Solid games alone or all Games along with Metal Gear Solid.

Considering speed wasn't a focus, it's still faster than Sonic Lost World... and more fun. Sorry... but Sonic Lost World just sucked...

This won't end well is all I can say. The main draw for Nintendo hardware is that it is the only place you can play their games... take that away and...

I've enjoyed a lot of these types of games, but to be honest, Hyrule Warriors really stands out of the pack... so I don't no if we can really expect Hyrule Warrior fans to snap up their other games. Hyrule just mixed it up so much better, added checkpoints to long battles, usable items to solve problems, etc. The other games, although I enjoy them, never held my interest for as long. The only other game I'd recommend people try would be Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes on the Wii. It was my favourite of these types of games until Hyrule Warriors, and my most played Wii game.

@Grumblevolcano That's interesting, I did not know that.

I bet it has more to do with them wanting to sell more plastic instruments, and since the Wii U is still backwards compatible with all the instruments already released for the Wii, the potential to rip customers off by making them buy everything all over again isn't there.

Spent countless hours with games like Snatcher & Dune. The two best for the system. But I really enjoyed everything Mega-CD. For the time, the FMV stuff may be laughed at now, but it was mind blowing back then. Total disbelief that a game could have actual video or cartoon footage.

It's funny, that for a game that so little was revealed about, I'm totally hyped for this one. More 4 player local co-op games please.

@BensonUii I have Sonic Lost World... from what I've played of the demo of Boom, it was a lot better in my opinion... Wish I brought it instead of Lost World. Amazingly, one thing people complain about with Boom is the lack of speed for a Sonic game, but Lost World is a lot slower and you even have to hold down a button to make Sonic run the entire time... go figure.

Love this deal, I ended up getting $217 back over the two years. It did a great job encouraging me to buy more, really sad to see it end...

Wii U... although I do miss playing Wolf & Snake.

The Theatrhythm gameplay seems to work better with Dragon Quest judging by this trailer. But damn, I still hate the Theatrhythm character visual style... it's about the only thing killing my joy of these games.

The Wii U needs this as a global release. A game that makes proper use of the gamepad. Maps and off screen play are such half-arsed uses of the gamepad it might as well have never been created if that's all it is destined for.

Loved the DS game... but the can't say the same for the Wii U version. But happy for anyone who is interested, the more Wii U games the better.

Yeah, it's been there since before Watch_Dogs was even released... the fact they still haven't removed it at least give me hope. Pfft, but at this rate we'll get this around the time Watch_Dogs 2 is out for everything else.

Really sucks, has been a favorite comedian of mine for as long as I can remember. Toys has been my favourite movie ever since it came out... really going to miss him.

This is the entire reason I got a Wii U a year ago, in anticipation of this game. This game is what the Wii U was made for. The gamepad is the camera obscura, and we need this dubbed and sent our way.

MK was so cool back when it was digital. Would have loved to be there.
