To be fair there are rulesets like Regional Dex only in past games.

The better battery life Switch already has the components for a Pro style upgrade. In fact if you go on homebrew and upclock the CPU to 1.7GHz you will see a massive improvement in performance to certain games already.

DAISY KIRBY is best when yellow

You do realise that even Nintendo are hiking the price up of their games which ship on higher than 8GB carts too? These things are not cheap, and downloading games is the future.

The new Mario and Sonic game is showing some nice legs.

Err, so why did the new Mario and Sonic get a 7/10? I smell scoring bias.

Of course I will be getting the Triple AAA game of the holidays, Mario and Sonic Tokyo 2020. These games are iconic to the Nintendo and SEGA world.

No Princess Daisy as a playable character? No buy from me

How about modeling swaps? Well, Luigi’s friend Daisy is one based off Peach who deveoped her own personality, but with mostly the same abilites for balancing reasons and the fact that players can freely pick between Peach and Daisy according to preference! In Double Dash, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Smash Bros. in particular.

I wish she was in Luigi’s Mansion 3. Maybe someday she will be a star...someday

They were actually working on Wario Land 3DS. It was going to release but obviously Mario and Luigi 3DS tanking caused Nintendo to cancel ALL their new 3DS projects

I rather have this because the last Assassin's Creed game had compressed audio to make up for the fact that they needed to fit both 3 and Liberation in one cart.

The controls are too imprecise. I can’t make tight turns. Also I feel like I don’t have FULL control of my character, who is Daisy, and her kart.

Other than that it’s a cool app. The graphics are really nice, like a Vita port of Mario Kart 8. I am looking forward to the multiplayer.

@Desa I have a feeling that it might be due to Gooigi being easier to develop since he has the same wireframe and skeleton as Luigi does, but this doesn't seem like a low budget game at all, and the Switch is more than capable.

Plus it would be a nice dynamic, Daisy's boisterous personality is a good contrast.

This looks fantastic. One gripe is that DAISY, Luigi's girlfriend, is nowhere to be seen in this game. The plot fits so perfectly with it too. Peach could have invited all of her friends to the mansion...

Also would have been a great co-op partner.

Man, they had to nerf Daisy's camping abilites and killpower?

This SUCKS!!!!! I was ready to make Super Daisy Land 2 with those sloped conveyor belts and secret rooms!!!

This game is better than Transformed in almost every way, and no I am not a Sonic maniac. It has more options, it's more friendly to newcomers, the itemplay is better, the courses are arguably better...there are more options.

This is a good port, aside from two key issues.

1. NPC count was reduced compared to the Wii U version and other versions. This is especially apparent in cities like Boston, where the roads sometimes feel like they are dead.

2. Audio quality is horrible. HORRIBLE! Why is the menu theme compressed like that? Were they really hurting for space?

The Switch version has footage up already. It's not bad. I think the game kinda sucks tho with courses that are too wide - and rather odd handling. The cars feel light when drifting and turning feels horrible without it.

Where's the amiibo logo???? No Mystery Mushrooms?

@thesilverbrick I think it’s just updating Daisy to accept all kinds of Daisy amiibo (The Smash amiibo and the Mario series amiibo have the same character ID) and Young Link to support his Smash amiibo (Majora’s Mask Link is a numbering ID so it’s only supported a very specific amiibo)

A Daisy one would be nice. I would get that.

Very fair review! The graphics seem improved a lot compared to 18 though. 19 finally has proper daytime graphical lighting!

I am really looking forward to this game but I just really want to know about what exactly makes each echo fighter different. Like, Daisy vs Peach. We know that they have the same movelist, and it was implied that there are some differences in gameplay but what are they?

I just want to know how Daisy will differ from Peach!

I feel like they need to tighten up the motion controls with a reset button. Also it feels like the implementation is imprecise and laggy.

Even Mario Kart 8 fixed this and had it appear to the right!
