I don't know if I need this or not. I just don't care for the pose it's in. I would rather something a bit more dynamic like Luigi posed with his flash light in one hand and vacuum in the other looking terrified as he walks forward looking for ghosts instead of hugging his flash light here

@Smigit I've seen resin anime figs being cheaper than F4F.

F4F makes great stuff, but even the more pricey japanese figs are a lot of times cheaper than them.

@Rayquaza2510 I think the PVC ones aren’t too poorly priced but yeah, get that they’re still too much for many.

What disappoints me about F4F is the direction their resin statues have gone. 15 years ago they were at a $100ish price point. I get inflation and the like happens but they cost waaaay more now. Part of that is certainly them just increasing prices, the other half is these past few years they seem to have become obsessed with making things really really large. Half the statues they put out are massive and they take particular pride in that fact. Problem is costs all round go up (especially shipping!) and they’re so large that they’ve alienated many of their own customers who simply don’t have space to display the larger sized busts etc they are doing. They seem to be doing a lot more 1/4 scale now versus 1/8ish.

I’m glad they’re at least doing some small scale, low(we) cost PVC figures which aren’t too out of line with other gaming merch my local EB Games sticks. Would like them to do some smaller resin ones too and try and get those out at a reasonable price rather than the monstrosities they’ve shipped the past few years.

I quite like buying figures and statues of this sort of quality, but Luigi isn't really a character I would want. Not for the price this is likely to be.

@Smigit They probably did market research on that one and figured that they're okay with charging more for larger resins. They certainly seem to have a stable market for it. I'm with you that I would love for them to make smaller resin items with more reasonable prices, though I don't fault them for going the direction they did.

I wish I had enough of a disposable income so that I could collect First4Figures statues. They're all so damn gorgeous.

I think they got fed up of everyone else making money on their products. Totally agree about those massive one's, stupidly big.

F4F is actually one of the cheaper resin makers. Especially compared to the comic ones.

But this is PVC. So will be in-line with those Zelda PVC ones. Probably sub-£100
