The holidays are well and truly upon us and the developers behind all of our favourite games have been sharing festive messages for fans, friends, and everyone in between.

It feels almost sarcastic that Konami would use Castlevania as image and then write "Hang out with your friends these holidays" (instead of playing video games, because we got none)
I always love extra promotional official art, Splatoon and Kirby are great here
I'm a simple man, I see Splatoon, I get interested... then I read the headline and find out it is not a surprise Splatfest/New game. Some nice artwork here though.

Interesting to see only Playtonic and Nintendo of Japan will say the word Christmas.
The splatoon one looks really nice. One of my favorite parts of Creating A Champion is all the promotional art it has, including the Christmas one, which is currently my wallpaper on my PC
Love the artwork for Kirby! I'm pretty sure some of the food on the table is from the Kirby Cafe!
I do like the Konami post card.

As for the ones shown, I think the Sonic one's my favorite. Konami gets docked points for teasing a non-existent new Castlevania (AGAIN) and it's interesting to see how Nintendo Japan are one of the only ones on here who actually wish us a "Merry Christmas."

@Aurumonado It's probably because the term "Merry Christmas" has in recent years been used as a backhanded way of insulting non-Christians in America. in the UK and Japan it's not much of a problem (through as a Brit, I personally prefer "Wonderful Winter")
So in the Nintendo of America video above I noticed that they showed a Yellow Switch Lite, then zoomed into the screen to show Cat Mario from Super Mario 3D World. Coincidence, or teasing a port?
@MS7000 no doubt...I saw it and thought, "Themes for Switch!". Nope no themes...I saw the Splatoon theme on my son's DS or whatever it is and wondered, "When, Nintendo, when?"
@Grafeaux Themes are long overdue for the Switch. It is not as though I wouldn't pay for them either, I have so many for 3DS it is kind of silly. I would happily take some Zelda themes along with Splatoon themes (could have one based on Final Splatfest for example).

Ah, it's that time of year again, when so many gamer commenters once again demonstrate their failure to understand that there are literally billions of people who don't celebrate Christmas, and some of them play games.

Yep, you’re right. Upon closer inspection the HUD in that footage is from Mario Maker, not 3D World. I was seeing what I wanted to see.
