Nintendo censorship rules haven’t really changed much since mortal kombat released in 1993.

Oooh another ai rage bait article. Remember people that everything you’ve ever uploaded to the internet becomes the property of the platform you’ve uploaded it to. Copyright laws obviously still offer some protection but these ai tools will carefully navigate and skirt the rules and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Pokémon in 2025 should be the same sort of scale as totk and botw. Make a huge open world with interesting places to visit. Make the graphics look better than the 2005 looking versions they churn out now.

Switch 2 isn’t expensive

Traditional dungeons are definitely better than anything on offer from botw and totk. In fact the whole progression system of more linear Zelda games are much more rewarding.

Watched a few games of this on twitch and i have to say it looks great. Plenty of secrets amd each run is different enough to keep it interesting. I’ve been saying for years that Nintendo should embrace the rom hack and modding community.

Full remake think resident evil 2. Get a second team to build the game instead of Nintendo doing it directly.

I’d love for Nintendo to have a rotation of other game producers creating more Zelda. The open world formula is great but i still do miss the linear format. A 3d Zelda every 2-3 years would be perfect

Nintendo should release lost level type difficulties via dlc. I love tight platforming and you only need to watch twitch to see most people playing or watching 2d Mario games are playing rom hacks for the challenge. Nintendo really should lean into that market.

Nintendo has vastly different types of games from the other two. Both on a technical level and a design level. This isn’t a bad thing at all! I just don’t see them in the same sphere at all anymore. I own both a switch and a ps5 for this reason.

They aren’t in the same market though. Sure they are all games consoles but the market is completely different for Nintendo.

Nintendo should have 3-4 studios working on Zelda at all times. That way we could get new games every 3 years instead of every 6.

This game is perfect for the switch. When it launched on the ps4 it’s was incredible but there want many levels to enjoy. Now after two years of updates and this latest season new players will have loads of content to enjoy. It really is an incredible party game.

I really liked botw but it’s not even the best Zelda game.

Rom hacks don’t get taken down and they look exactly the same as this. Also nft’s aren’t just about JPEG’s you’ll need to do some real research. Plus not all crypto networks use huge amounts of carbon footprint! Again do some research.

@SirRandall you have lots of different categories for all games. Glitchless, 100% and no arbitrary code execution are just a few. All categories are competitive and very high skill.

@BulkSlash most games are run using Japanese versions of the games because the text scrolls quicker.

In today’s gaming climate majora’s mask would never get made. I’m sure it would be classed as far to risky

Metroid prime 4 also unlikely in this version of the switch.

The wife wants to play mario kart but I refuse to buy a switch now. Probably have to wait another year for upgrade though.

Wish Nintendo would make a compete reimagining of oot on the scale botw. Just give the game for someone else to work on Nintendo.

@sanderev no character growth? The whole game revolves around gaining new weapons, increasing health, acquiring new armour sets that all have different perks. In oot you literally grow into an adult

I don’t understand why Nintendo don’t treat mario maker as an ongoing evergreen title. The mario community turn to rom hacks to build the content they want and make a better job of it than Nintendo. Its crazy to me that Luna magic has more development than mario maker.

Gaining jars, weapons and and abilities like swimming in deeper waters and using gloves to pick up heavy items are all indications that Zelda is an RPG. Just because you don’t put skill points into a certain ability doesn’t take away from the RPG elements in Zelda games.

On a side note, because of the way botw was built with go anywhere anytime mechanics I’d suggest that it was less of an RPG that any of the other traditional 3D games.

This game and oot are the reason the n64 is the console I remember with most fondness. I probably spent hours just pulling Mario’s face in the title screen. character and atmosphere are the two things that I find missing from most modern games.

Resi 2 remake is the gold standard! Nintendo release 3D all stars and put zero effort into it. I would absolutely love a complete reimagined oot. I know it will never happen

Nintendo are using the switch to sell the games they made for the wii u. Only standout game for switch in 4 years is odyssey

Fall guys on PS4 is £15. Its worth every penny! I’ll be buying a switch to play this game with a new player base.

The stupid thing with these dmca takedowns is that without music being allowed on platforms like YouTube and twitch younger fans don’t ever find this music. Africa by toto went viral directly because of twitch and YouTube 35 years after first release.
