Re: "Next-Gen" Anti-Grav Racer Redout 2 Speeds Onto Nintendo Switch In 2022

@BlueOcean if you use the "classic control scheme" you still need to use the left stick up and down according to the track angle to avoid losing speed and energy. You can use the left and right shoulder buttons to make sharp turns. That's much more intuitive than using the other control schemes which use the right stick

You are not allowed to use power ups on the "pure" events. You can upgrade the magnets on your vehicle to get more grip also.

@BlueOcean @InAnotherCastle At first I was thinking the same about the controls but after some time I learned how to take turns properly and how to upgrade the vehicles. Right now I am flying through the tracks like a bullet and I rarely touch the walls. It's a difficult game and it takes time and dedication to get good at it, but that's not a bad thing, isn't it? It's like a Dark Souls game, you need to practice a lot and learn the progression system, but once you get it the game shines. Don't expect it to give you instant gratification, this is a long term experience and that's why I like it. I will be very disappointed if they casualize the sequel, we already have Mario Kart for that. Also, those expecting an F-zero clone are going to be disappointed for sure, but that's not the game's fault. F-zero is amazing and it's my favorite game of all time but let's face it, Nintendo is not the same anymore, they only focus on the casual market now. Those who just wait for an F-zero will just get disappointed

I love video games but I enjoy them in short bursts because I have other things to do that compete for my spare time. Also, as I grow older I am losing my interest in video games, specially the long ones, but it comes and goes. I sometimes don't touch my console in two months, but when I get a new game I can't stop for a whole week and I don't feel any guilt (I am looking at you Metroid Dread), but that only happens twice a year approximately.

Re: Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Release Date And Pricing Revealed

@Dr_Lugae I just want to play F-zero X, do you think that's a fair price? why they don't give me the option to buy that game separately like the previous consoles? Did you know online was free because it doesn't cost any cent to them, they don't even use dedicated servers. So they ask you to pay for air and now they ask you to pay more to rent an N64 emulator. I deserve better, maybe you don't.

Re: Poll: What's A Fair Price For The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack?

@MichaelP That’s true, but at least I would like to be able to choose if I want the subscription model or I just want to buy the few games I want. In my case I just want to play Fzero X on the go and right now they force me to pay a subscription just for one game or two. Xbox has a subscription model but it’s completely optional because you can choose to buy the games. Subscription is not a bad thing, my issue is the lack of choice. I already own all of them on cartridge and I am not interested to explore them.
