Metroid. This all makes sense now. An announcement that has been 2,5 years in the making and 2,5 years ago Reggie has been seen with a metroid shirt at the game awards stage just a couple of weeks before the game awards.

It also was the year where they probably would have announced the metroid trilogy if they didn't make the decision to restart Metroid Prime 4's development.

I'll have to use the bigger guns: Bill Gates himself teleports on the stage next to Reggie, laser eyes him to ashes, saying xbox is leading the industry in Japan, because Metroid Prime 4 and LoZ BotW 2 were delayed because microsoft bought the IP's.

That's pretty cool. Honestly, if all presenters were the at least the same caliber as Reggie I might watch one of these, but I don't waste time on overlong, pointless award shows, no matter what it's for. Give me the 5 minutes (if that) of highlights and I'm good. I'll spend the time on better, more productive activities

Last of Nintendo's celebrity CEO's , shame the new ones in control hide in the corner, Bowser may not have much personality but he does show up sometimes in press. The new Japan CEO, well I can't even remember his name, I will just call him the boring man with no personality.. I'll be Ready for Reggie, maybe he can take on Simu Liu in a bout of Smash Bros.
