I think it's not about crying. To me the title is referring to those chunks of land that are floating in the sky, those are tears of the Kingdom. But I am not a native english speaker so I am not sure. The Queen's passing is not helping with my theory though.
I hope it's not only an F-zero GX remaster. I wish they add some awesome new HD graphics to it but at the same time I need new content because I have been playing that game since it came out non stop. I need new tracks, vehicles, lots of vehicle parts, online, new story mode and a track editor. But first of all I need it to happen because it's only a rumour, so we will see... Also Zeldas and Metroids are always welcome to my games library
My prediction is that we will get a "Gamecube classics" series, like we had the "NES classics" series on the GBA back in the day. This will come with new joycons with better sticks (no drift hopefully) and analog shoulder buttons to accommodate those games. Or maybe they just add Gamecube to the online subscription service...
I always ignored Metroid until one day that I decided to play Super Metroid on my 3DS Virtual Console to see why everyone loves this series so much. I felt in love and I couldn't stop playing until I finished it. Then I decided to try Metroid Other M and Prime Trilogy, but even they are good, they were not my thing. Then I got Zero Mission and Fusion for my GBA on eBay and loved them a lot. I also got the Super Metroid SNES cart. I finally had the pleasure to play Samus Returns and Dread and I love them both as much as all the other 2D Metroid games.
@steventonysmith the kids were playing around home, coming in and out of my room. It was my first Bayonetta game so I didn't know about those inappropriate scenes yet. But I understand and agree with your point, if it's already rated M why adding this mode? The scenes will be awkward anyway. But some would rather like to have Bayonetta keep her clothes on. It's a matter of taste I guess, and completely optional, so I don't bother much about it.
@steventonysmith that's true, but at least I won't hear my nephew screaming: "I have seen her butt!!!!" while everyone at home think that I am showing porn to the kids
@BulkSlash Yeah! I know the feeling. People think you are a pervert, like you are just playing to see her nude, it's so awkward... And it's optional so why would someone complain about it??¿!¿¿
The fact that Mario Kart 9 seems to be very far away makes me think that Nintendo might give F-zero another chance to shine. But after so many years of disappointment I already moved on, whenever I see those news that just give false hope I just ignore them completely. I rather focus on celebrating the ones we already have which are awesome.
Not doing anything to amend the joycon drift and forcing overpriced subscription models to play old games and online is the way you build trust and a long term relationship for sure. Of course he is worried, we are all worried as well Mr Furukawa...
This is Miyamoto. We developed a new F-zero for the Switch but we will never release it. I will keep it for myself and I will never allow anyone to play it.
I want to buy this game but I find it very expensive, is it worth that price? I have to buy the base game Afterbirth+ (40 euros) and then the Repentance DLC (another 20 euros). Are there any discounts?
For me the most frustrating thing about it is that I can buy and own retro games from other companies but not Nintendo ones, on a Nintendo console... surreal
@WaveBoy I am a bit older than you xD I don't see myself using VR, it's a matter of taste I guess. But if Nintendo makes an amazing Fzero VR game then we'll talk
@WaveBoy maybe I am too old for this kind of stuff but wearing a PSVR2 in my head or anything similar feels weird to me. I am not saying that PSVR2 is not good, there are some nice improvements and I see it as an interesting way to break our gaming routine, but not something that will substitute a regular screen and a gamepad. It could get mainstream appeal inside the gaming community but I don't see it being successful at a work environment or at social interaction because we don't need that kind of inmersion at work or daily lives. I for example have a racing wheel to play Gran Turismo and I have a lot of fun with it but most of the time I would rather use my regular controller because it's much more practical. I feel the same way with VR, it's fun for a while but not practical.
Smash was used to groom underaged kids at their events and they still call them out publicly to demand their support. Good luck, you are going to need it.
In my opinion VR is cumbersome to use but adds inmersion and fun in certain kind of niche videogames. But I don't understand why anyone would need this kind of inmersion to have a meeting with your boss or hanging out with a distant friend when we can just have a video call. This is going to fail so hard...
I will play F-zero X and GX properly, not on the Switch but on the original consoles. I will do some time attack session at Gran Turismo, some Smash Ultimate online tournament and try to beat my own scores at Bubble Bobble 4 Friends.
I think X is accessible while GX is more hardcore. Same design but very different developers and philosophy. Anyway, GX is the one for me!
I want to take the chance to congratulate Nintendo for always listening to the fans and give us exactly what we were asking for all those years. Thanks to give us the chance to rent an emulator with perfect frame rate and on a handheld with the most amazing sticks on the market. Thanks!
Thank you Nintendo, that's exactly what I was waiting for. You are always listening and know exactly what the fans want. You are always so nice to F-zero fans that I can't find any words to say thanks. Thanks, thanks, and thanks again. I will buy all your products! THANKS
Valve does what Nintendon't! I need one right now, I can't wait to play Cyberpunk 2077, Deus Ex and Metroid Prime, F-zero X / GX and it's mods on this thing.
I can't wait for this game, it looks soo cute and fun. My first Nintendo game was "Kirby Dream Land 2" on the Gameboy and I still love him to this day! I hope hamster Rick appears in the game somehow, I had a ton of fun playing with him in Star Allies
I better keep my hype in check until Nintendo says something about it. This sounds like the Switch Pro news or Metroid Prime HD, I can see dangerous levels of anger and disappointment incoming
They will get rid of karts and create a Smash Bros like racing game with Nintendo characters and some third party characters. You will be able to craft your vehicles, create your tracks and share your cups online. You will be able to choose Captain Falco and create a Blue Falcon and build F-zero tracks easily. 300cc of course. Mario Kart fans would be happy and F-zero fans would be happy as well. I should had my hype in check.
@Pokester99 Oh! Uncharted, I never played any, that's not my type of game at all. Anyway, I was not thinking it was a technical achievement, I just thought it looked so nice to have that on an open world Zelda game and how nice to watch those views were. Anyway, I am not into console or PC wars if that's what you are looking for, I enjoy games in general, no matter where they come from
@Pokester99 I had all the Nintendo consoles since the SNES, but I also had ps2, ps3 and ps4. But I admit that I was not into medieval open world games back then but I liked Dark Souls 1 a lot. It would be nice if you could mention some examples. Thanks
I remember the first time I saw BOTW's grass with every leaf having independent animation and reacting to the player steps. I was amazed because it felt very organic and pleasant to watch. I think the grass it's one of the main elements that makes this game's aesthetics so iconic.
