Re: Nintendo Announces Super NES Classic Edition

Instead of releasing a whole new hardware for this, Nintendo should've just done like what Rare did for Rare Replay. 30 great games, $30. Release them on the Switch - no stock problems (except for the Switch it self but meh) - convenience.

I guess this is just for the nostalgia fanatics.

Re: Pokémon GO Cheaters Get A Nasty Surprise In The Latest Update

I live in the biggest city of my country (which is small so that's not saying much) but still there were barely any PokéStops or whatever and I barely could catch any Pokémon back when I used to play, but I never cheated.

To be honest I don't know how people can take this game seriously.

@Luna_110
"Two Metroid games in development don't mean anything regarding the chances of a DKC being in development."

Hence why "given that it's not using Retro's precious time and resources, I'll probably still end up buying that and this 2D game to give it a chance ONCE AGAIN."

And my whole anti-Metroid thing was going on from pre-spotlight on the live chat. I've seen many people from comments, discussions, YouTube videos, etc. express this deep annoyance that they'd have if Retro was working on "just another DKC game". If those people can have their heavy resent towards Retro working on a DKC game why couldn't I do the same towards Retro working on a Metroid game.

Post-announcement I haven't been to terribly negative on the games. I even said above that I'd be willing to give them a try even though I didn't like all the previous ones I've played.

@MegaVel91 What if I legitimately don't think Metroid is a game franchise so good that people have been clammering for one for years on end and being so disappointed when it doesn't show up or it turns out to be a crappy spin-off?

I honestly tried to get into Metroid. I wanted to see what all this fuss was about some years ago. I think it was after they announced Blast Ball. I decided to buy Metroid for the NES, Super Metroid for SNES, and the Metroid Prime Trilogy. The NES and SNES ones were really not all that great as people made them out to be. I don't think I've beaten either since I just didn't want to play them. I also didn't really like the Prime games either. They seemed very bland and uninspired. Everywhere seemed samey and the gameplay was intuitive to me.

In fact, as much as I've shown dislike to the fact that Metroid Prime 4 was announced, given that it's not using Retro's precious time and resources, I'll probably still end up buying that and this 2D game to give it a chance ONCE AGAIN.

So no I'm not just trashing Metroid just because I want DKC. I just don't think its all that amazing to scream out in joy for off of a title screen.

@MatthewHindmarsh So basically just because you have some sort of vendetta against him? How are his view points strange? On game? If he talks bad things about bad games I don't see the issue. I share many opinions with him in that regard. On politics? What do you have against right-winged views - liberal much? He blocks people who are clearly trolls or behave like they're from NeoGAF.

I don't see why you all have to jump on Josh for this. He's one of the realest YouTubers out there who genuinely loves what he does.

You people, probably liberal scum, are very unfair and hypocritical. Back with the Rayman leak there wasn't this much hate towards ArtsyOmni and he successfully kickstarted his dumb Smashified series and no one complained. Josh does this and everyone jumps on him and tries to use his tweets against him. Just because he has conservative views that are different from yours doesn't make him a bad person.
