Seriously though, ffs Nintendo add effing folders and other basic long requested (and long overdue) quality of life features. Stop being so stupid, this system is great but a few basic QoL features would make it so much better.

@GamingDude800 that they are! I've imported twice and I won't do it again because of the import taxes are ridiculous. I just find it unfair and not even logical to screw us Switch gamers constantly like this since XBONE and PS4 both had these versions released here in NA so why not the Switch too?

These companies piss me off sometimes. I only buy physical if at all possible so I've bought a lot of games from LRG for example, I'll buy this regular version if we get at least that in physical but I'd have bought the cheaper edition of these 2 if we got them.

I just want to know WHY THE F*** NA gamers constantly get screwed out of physical collector's editions such as these (and many others)?

If nintendo wants to be stupid then it's their loss and I'll just keep making my own amiibo nfc tags because I'm not gonna fight with these scalpers and their bots to try and buy limited stock.

Nintendo needs to make more and keep them (all types of amiibos and other accessories like the Zelda Joy-cons) and I wont pay scalper prices. The other thing, scalpers need to die in a fire! Nothing but scum and parasites.

World peace and a cure to all known (and even unknown) disease will happen before theme's and folders.

I love Nintendo but I also hate Nintendo lol. Such simple basic features... they never seem to grasp this concept that these things make a big difference. Nintendo just loves to do things stupid.

@Friendly Ah yep that would be it. I ordered it on Play-Asia when I found a few other games at the same time to consolidate shipping costs but have seen it on Amazon from other sellers who import to resell.

I just assumed it was a Japan/Asia release only but that link shows exact locales it launched in. I wish they would do more physical releases for us in North America though, ridiculous how we get shafted so much for Switch releases.

@Friendly FF VII & FF VIII were never released on physical in the west. Had to import and still is the case but the import copies have English on them so correct me if I am wrong but when and where did they officially release those with a physical copy here in the west?

FF XIV is the same as above, can import it or find from sellers on Amazon that imported copies to resell here which is how I got them all (7 & 8 Twin Pack, and 9).

Crystal Chronicles doesn't have a physical release here either. It seems after X/X-2 and XII that they decided to screw over their western customer base and not release physical.

It seems we miss out on a crap ton of physical games in general and it's really starting to irritate the F*** out of me. These companies need to give us physical copies and if they don't then I don't buy.

Nice to see the numbers. I expected the fps was 30 fps in handheld during my time with the demo (in handheld only so far) and never noticed any dips and game looks great too.

I was already excited for this game and now even more so. March can't come soon enough!

@Baker1000 I think that was the point to show off the Switch version compared to PS5. With the lack of power on the Switch this game still looks good on the Switch.

Of course nobody would ever expect it to rival PS5 graphically but this still looks impressive on the Switch and very playable.

Already have it on pc and love it and would be more than happy to double dip and play it again on Switch but not until they release a proper physical version (not some half-a** BS like 2K did with Borderlands, Xcom and Bioshock requiring almost the entire games still being downloaded).

Release full physical with entire game on cart and I will buy even at full price but not until then.

Was excited for this but no physical = no buy for me! I skipped out on several big games I wanted due to no physical copies or lack of physical copies in North America and more specifically Canada.

I'm sick of games NOT getting physical copies or only Asia and Europe getting physical copies and North America getting screwed. If this has physical on other consoles why not Switch as well? Just means companies won't be getting my money!

Another example of games I passed on would be Borderlands, Xcom and Bioshock collections for Switch being on tiny cards still requiring almost full size massive downloads so I won't buy any of those either because that is also a BS move. I'll buy indie games digital or some if they get released by Limited Run Games but major games from big developers need to release physical or F*** OFF!

Can't wait! Got it on sale for pc and enjoy it but if I can take it on the go then this is a must!

I agree and I haven't touched my PS4 in 2 years now. I play PC and Switch and plan to stick with just PC and Nintendo now.

I love my Switch and it is my favorite console... Oh wait AND handheld in 1 device! I got sick of multiple devices and sometimes wished my gameboys/3DS could be played on my tv when not in the mood for handheld so wait for it... The Switch solves that problem you moron (Pachter).

Clearly 22 months now it's the best selling console I think is what I read recently so clearly this system Nintendo has with Switch and Switch Lite is working lol, what a dumb a**!

F2P? So loaded with micro transaction crap? No thanks I'll pass! I don't care how good it may be, but I hate MT's and will never support them so I won't touch this game! I'd rather pay for a game and not be gimped if I don't break my bank for MT's.

I don't like Ubisofts way with AC Odyssey but still was better than any F2P games setup. I never touched an MT in Odyssey and was just fine.

As for the hate because of the graphics, I don't care cuz I liked how botw looked and if others wanna go the same route then great, I enjoyed botw for its art style and visuals overall so I'm looking forward to Immortals Phoenix Rising. Was with this till I now realized its F2P unfortunately.

This is one of many reasons I don't buy EA games anymore. They seem to just hate Nintendo and of course their ruining of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age games. Still good but each series got worse by the 3rd. Then of course their ridiculous greed and worst monetization in the industry so I may have actually paid for this and finally bought something EA after 10 or so years of not buying their games but guess they still don't want my money.

Those who deny the frame rate issues are just fooling themselves because those frame rate drops should NOT have ever made it to release and more-so as you said, has not been addressed by Nintendo makes it all the more disappointing. Loved the game but Nintendo could have, and should have, done better/

@TheFullAndy I agree with you. I did enjoy the game and beat it when it released but those drops were very annoying and frequent. I've seen worse but it is a disappointment being a first-party game (and a Zelda game at that!).

@retro_player_77 where did anyone say it can't run on PS4? They said it's being cancelled on PS4 and XB One and going straight to next-Gen. It has nothing to do with not being able to run on the PS4 but rather not supporting on 6 platforms and only on 4 instead since XB One and PS4 are soon to have successors on the market so why release on those 2?

Saw this back on Kickstarter when it first showed up but I have the Skull & Co dock that works great. Nor as small as this but it's very compact and allows my Switch to be docked on display, it stuck laying flat.

May get this for travel down the road but no rush for me since the one I have is still nice and portable.

Prices go higher then I'm done with gaming! Prices are already too high when you add in the scam micro-transactions or unfinished games that then charge for dlc or features that should have been part of the main purchase.

I hate this direction gaming has gone but if prices go up then these scams better end otherwise I'm done with gaming and I'm sure I'm not alone on that.

I hope they stick to this hybrid model they did so right with the Switch! I love my Switch (and play mostly handheld) and love that I'm no longer tied to a tv or strictly a small screen portable and split between which to play. I always neglected portables more that way but now it's perfect!

I've always been a Nintendo and PC player while I did enjoy Xbox 360 and PS4 I now don't care for consoles other than Switch. I'm PC and Nintendo player now (as long as Nintendo keeps doing the hybrid thing following the Switch then I'll keep buying Nintendo as my only console).

Getting beyond pissed off, it's now July and I have yet to see a single effing scorpion on my island and I play daily every evening. I've even used at least 30 nmt and half those was the same island with the swirl and rest were a mix but all with split tiers and no scorpion/tarantula island.

This nerf was effing ridiculous! F U Nintendo and your stupid nerfs ruining it for the majority of players due to the small minority who cheat/time travel!

Great news! I was fine with Mario Run and I tree s one-time purchase and Dragalia Lost was fun, Animal Crossing was too but I HATE micro-transactions then came Fire Emblem with ridiculous MT'S (IMO) and the Mario Kart with its ridiculously overpriced subscription BS, that then ruined and made its way to F.E. and A.C. so this news has put a huge smile on my face!

They just got too greedy, so all Nintendo games got uninstalled from my phone and I wished for this day too come!

Most mobile games in general do not get my attention anymore as too many MT'S with paywalls and/or P2W mechanics that I refuse to ever support or stupid gambling loot boxes which are the worst of all additions into the gaming industry.

Be nice if I could download this update. Been trying for 2 hours randomly and always says server is undergoing maintenance but when I check the network status Nintendo shows no issues. Bunch of idiots!

Yes I have bills and a family. These games take me literally many many months to go through casually but I enjoy them.

I'll buy this for pc on release but if they make and pull off a Switch port I'll buy it as well.

I originally played Witcher 3 on my PS4 then when I got a new pc I got the pc version and am now playing through the Switch version.

CDPR makes great games and I'll support them all I can and especially buy a Switch copy regardless if I already own a PC copy of this game (but only make it if it will run at steady 30fps otherwise I say don't worry about it).

I own a PS4 and barely touch it. Never bought the Xbox One. I have zero plans to buy either PS5 or Xbox Series X.

I play mostly PC and my Switch and was always a PC and Nintendo game at heart but always owned all consoles but now it's PC and Nintendo for me since my pc does everything the other consoles do anyways.

The joke aside, their is NO excuse for piss poor ports of games like this and of this age. The Witcher 3 is proof that tons of Devs are making lazy garbage ports and they should all be ashamed of themselves.

So many let downs (wrc 8, bloodstained, ac3 remaster, neverwinter nights, etc. just to name a few but apparently ac3 and bloodstained have been updates and improved I think but still ridiculous all the bad ports when Witcher 3 can run and decently too. Oh well, lazy Devs don't get my money.

I played Witcher 3 and all dlc on ps4 at launch and love this game. Bought it on sale on pc once I had a new computer that could run it then heard of the Switch port so I waited on doing a full second play through on my pc. Glad I waited as I love this on my Switch!

They did an amazing job porting this game. This is proof the Switch is a very capable system and bad ports so far now have no excuse for being poorly made (Saints Row is one that comes to mind, Bloodstained I heard was bad too and so on).

Also, all of this on cartridge without having to download half the game is also amazing. CDPR respects gamers and their supporters and I'm glad I got it. I don't regret at all owning 3 copies of this game (ps4, pc and Switch) lol.

Properly support Switch and people will buy your games on Switch but these half-a$$ed ports and "legacy editions" just piss people off!
