Persona 5 Royal bagged the no.1 for me for the second year in a row, which kinda shocked me a bit. I knew I had done another playthrough but damn I definitely thought I had played more of other games.
SSBU wasn't too far behind in 2nd and Tears of the Kingdom was 3rd. Kinda shocked Animal Crossing wasn't in the top 3 as I played it a lot near the start and end of the year.

Hoping Persona 6, expecting Persona 5 Cooking Simulator or smtn

I played and loved it! I'll definitely agree that some characters were... less than likable (looking at you, Ima), but I think that there were enough good ones to make it an overall decent roster. I think the main issue is that the school life gameplay needed a good bit more fleshing out, I kinda felt it was like the Persona school life segment, except with a lot less heart. Nevertheless, an easy recommendation. It does start slow, but it's absolutely worth it to get to the end and especially the postgame stuff.

Tears of the kingdom and Super Mario Party Jamboree with friends this weekend for me.

As someone who really doesn't play a lot of games in the year they cane out, I'd like to take this opportunity to praise The Hundred Line, not only for hooking me in but just being a great and deep experience. Probably my GOTY, even though the competition is not really all that steep.

Japan for the reason that I think the grey border suits the game more. I know that the background in-game is black and that a lot of nes games had the black box template, but I think the grey feels like it actually belongs in the arctic.

Still on Totk, currently doing the Sidon of the Zora main quest after finishing the Rito and Gerudo.

Other than that, will probably be trying to beat Persona 3 Reload on PS5. I'm on the final block of Tartarus and really want to finish it before the year's end.

Really excited for this one, picking it up as soon as possible. The characters look charming and the gameplay looks satisfying. Can't wait!

Definitely getting Demonschool day 1. Came across it while browsing through the eShop once and it looks right up my alley.

I doubt I was going to get the game anyway but this is the final nail in the coffin. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised Nintendo didn't just go all-out on GKCs from the start, considering it'll only have been 9 months between the switch 2 launch and pokopia releasing. Maybe it was to gradually ease us into the idea of them? As if we'll have eased up on them after 9 months and 4 non-GKC exclusives? Idk anymore, I'll probably go all-digital on switch 2 anyways.

Looks great so far, can't wait to see more of it in the direct. My only hope for it is that there's more references to nintendo's past as those were my favourite part of the first movie.

Also, they're really gonna slap a direct label to anything huh? I think this is the 10th "direct" this year but idk I lost count

Europe/NA this week as I think it shows off more of what the game has to offer while looking better overall as well.

Todays my birthday, so won't be doing much.
Tomorrow, though, I'll probably start Hades 1 and make some more progress on Metaphor: ReFantazio and maybe a bit of Smash Ultimate in between.

Won't be a buy for me. Used to play the series up until FIFA 23 and since the name change I've never really had a reason to go back, and that is looking to be the same here. Besides Fantasy Premier League is enough to keep me occupied anyway.

Definitely USA for me. The more in-your-face one is so much better as a representation of Wario, whereas Japan looks clean and tidy, the anti-Wario. (But the actual anti-Wario works as a literal plumber so it wouldn't suit him either? Idk my brain hurts)

Played on ps5, incredible. Probably won't double-dip but would highly recommend if you haven't played before

Persona 4 Revival? Maybe? No? (sigh) a man can dream...

Persona 4 Golden, as well as a bit of Mario Kart World. As well as these, I'll be playing a bit of Balatro on switch 1, Smash 3DS and maybe Metaphor: ReFantazio on PS5 if I find the time.

I've given up trying to speculate anything at this point. I really don't know what they're trying to pull here, but I'm just going to hope they say something soon so that I can stop checking my phone for news every minute.

Gonna make some progress in Ace Attorney: Justice for All and BOTW, also gonna boot up some 51 Worldwide Games with friends.

I'm not a massive pokemon fan, but I am really excited for this.

My brain is telling me to go North America because it overall is a better depiction of the game but come on Japans box art is something special that you very rarely see. The wooden feel is just so charming imo.

Tbh I don't really care about a meaningful story. It would be nice, but I'd rather have more characters, good new locations and a good soundtrack. The references were my favourite part of the last movie so I'd like to see those kept up.

NA/EU by far and away. They put a lot more effort into it and it looks better as a whole.

I'm more of a physical guy, I like borrowing and trading games with friends and getting them second-hand. I'd say that 80% of my switch library is physical and I'd say the majority of that 80% is either second-hand or gifts.

Persona 5 Royal and Splatoon 3's side order, both of which I'm really enjoying.

It was not great imo. Nothing really made me go "Wow, that looks brilliant!" 4/10, would have been a lot higher if I was Japanese.

Just finished up with Super Mario Galaxy and now turning my attention towards finishing off Gravity Rush Remastered.

Europe on this one, the background is better while still showing off all it needs to show off.

Still at Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Voting for Saturday on this one, its the only day of the week where you can sleep in and go to sleep happy knowing you can do the same tomorrow

Recently got Gravity Rush Remastered on my PS5 and I find it to be quite fun! Also trying to platinum Spider-Man 2 as well. My switch is taking a back seat for a while.
