ARMS was recently updated to include unlockable achievement badges which track your performance in-game. You can wear these to show off your favourite achievement to other players.
You may be wondering exactly what these badges are, and that's where we come in. Below you'll find what's required to gain both the Fixed Design and Random Design badges. Enjoy!

It is ridiculously handy that these give out monetary rewards. Will speed up completing the ARMS collection by quite a lot.
Thank you!!!
Badges are great edition.
Only 78? There are 108 so far listed on reddit:

"win the Grand Prix at level 7 with every character"
Man that's tough, I couldn't even manage that with 1 character. Level 5 is hard enough.
@Shiryu exactly my sentiment. Fired it up yesterday, got numerous badges straight away and enough to play 2 long sessions of "Get Arms". Been fiddling on and off and squirreled up another 400 coins... having them be vaguely generous with coins is a huge incentive to play again.
While we are on it; Nintendo should implement an achievement system like the other competitors have.
This is clearly something that people care about it and should be on every game on the system.
I launched the game yesterday and got about 300 coins. That makes collecting arms a lot easier.
Do online party matches count towards the "play 50 rounds" badges?
@Shiryu I was playing this again last night now I'm S+ S+ S+ in Splatoon and FEW arrives hasn't released yet. It's s such a good fighting game!
@tourjeff If Nintendo does an achievement system, it probably won't be like what others have.
@tourjeff A Lichtspeer employee recently said the following in a Reddit AMA: "Nintendo doesn't have an official support for Achievements and Leaderboards, like Sony or Microsoft but we know that they're working on it".
Just what exactly this means is anyone's guess since it's Nintendo we are talking about but it might be good news for you.
Edit: I mean someone working in the company that made Lichtspeer.
So if you’ve already completed some of these prior to the badges going live, do you get credit? Or have to start over? I actually cleared level 7 once....disregard, see where people got coins upon starting the game.
@OorWullie Just use double Seekie's. The computer AI can't handle them
Oh I finally get a mention.......
@JasonLee99 Oddly, you get credit for some things and not others. The play X for the first time badges are coming in only as I play them after the update.
glad they finally implemented a system for replayability. as you can now unlock different arms faster, it is also easier to try new combos and find a combination that suits you.
@chardir
I noticed that, too. Rather odd... maybe they didn’t program it to log all the past data. Badges may not have been planned from the start?
@AhabSpampurse We shared the same exact experience!
i have completed several of these tasks already. will i earn these badges as soon as i startup the game (after the update is installed) or will i have to these tasks all over again?...
unfortunately i have not played the game since update to version 3.0 (or less).
Badges are a great addition to the game, although I wish the game itself told you what to do to get the badges. Looking at a guide like this sort of feels like cheating, but there's no indication within the game how to get them.
Okay, throwing 10,000 punches is kinda hurting my arms.
I don't see a single reason why they shouldn't just show how to get the badges in game..
I wish Nintendo would have canceled this game. I would really hate to see ARMS 2 in a direct some day.
Collect 500 ARMS!!!!!???! *head explodes
Knock Barq over 5 times in 1 round"
Pfft! They should have made that at least 10! (It's my strategy against Barq and Byte)
How to perform a double KO?
@Fantasia
Yes I can confirm that playing party mode does unlock this badge as once I quit lobby I had my ribbon girl badge
