Was there a big difference between the Wii and GameCube version? I only played the Wii game and was a huge fan of it.

Throughly deserved, Mortal Kombat in my eyes is a legendary gaming series.

Just finished Zelda: Oracle of Ages and now just starting Seasons on the DS. Replaying Links Awakening on the Switch too.

From what Ive played I’d say Phantom Hourglass, the temple of the ocean king was just too repetitive for me.

100% in on this one, only reason I had a PS2 was for these games.

On the subject of the campaign length I think it’s ok. I always take my time with these games and all the 2D Metroids have been short games. The fun is going back and improving each play through.

Oh dear, a certain someone will be along to tell you how wrong the review is and how you’ve only done it because of outside pressure and fear of the dreaded “fan boys”.

It’s not as linear as it’s made out to be. You get a general idea where to go and then left to think outside the box on multiple occasions.

I like the hamster ball/ shrunken Samus theory just for the giggles.

I think Samus Returns looks and plays great 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t mind the idea in general and would love to see what they could do with it but I think it would have been a strange way to end the trilogy.

For me, Majoras Mask should be number one over OOT and Blast Corps is too low on the list.

Trying to finish Skyward Sword and then straight back into my Metroid play through.

All I can see is Juggernaut from X-Men, with that helmet.

The price depends on how much I can get for my regular Switch and the extra I have to put on top. If it’s worth it I may go for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Metroid has a good record in making great games, regardless of price or length. That’s the only thing I’m basing my decision on.

Not getting my hopes up but I’m hoping for some Metroid news.

Hollow Knight stands out for me. Brilliant game, happy to buy the sequel but will probably never finish the game.

I’m happy with the balance they’ve provided so far on the Switch. Got myself a few classics and a few new games to keep things interesting.

Can not wait! Had the original on the WiiU, 3DS and the Switch.

Personally I think the story in MK games is one of the best around and adds a lot of depth to the characters.

Finally finished Bayonetta and starting 2 while trying to finish Castle of Heart too.

Slightly off topic but is there anything I need to rewatch before Picard starts or can I just go straight in?

Downloading now as I type, never played a DQ game before but heard so many good things about the series I’d be a fool not to try a free demo.

I’d rather they were all original MK characters but kind of looking forward to the Terminator, not too fussed for Spawn or Joker.

Looks great, definitely one to look out for.

SNES version since I’ve not played the others. Top Gear Rally and Extreme G on the N64 and Double Dash on the Cube were my racers.
