I can see Starfox being shunted over to NX for a launch title.

Who would notice if they went on strike ? Everyone should be entitled to good working conditions, but when voice "actors" get paid more for a few hours reading than teachers or paramedics get in a year ..... then there cause will draw very little sympathy.

Looks like Starfox is flying away from the Wii U, towards the NX.

I might be in the minority, but I don't want backwards compatibility, it holds a new console back. I'm mainly a handheld gamer, so I want the NX to be a great portable. Something with the design similar to the vita ( twin sticks, great screen, easy online play ) but with nintendo magic. Also with built in 4g.

This sounds bad, but really compelling at the same time!

My local GAME (Northampton) have broke street date, and selling this today.

I heard it was the first gaming implant, with game data beamed straight to your cortex. Plugging into someone else for multi player could be fun!

Blimey, I've had 3ds from launch, this is the only game which makes my eyes hurt, the only game where I've had to turn the 3d down

I was in GAME this morning, to pre order my new XL, they stated the launch of this game has been pushed back to to the 20/02/2015.

It's great they have brought the date forward, (got my copy this morning ) But Nintendo need to advertise the fact, People who don't read gaming sites will have no idea that is is out now, which is a shame, because it could be a christmas big seller. I've not had chance to play this yet, is there a time limit for each puzzle ? I would rather just go through each level at my own pace, to fully enjoy how beautiful it looks.

The manager in my local Game is well known to break the street date, If you pay in cash that is! Bit dodgy, but I've had countless games a week early.

The only reason to get a Vita over 3DS is the price. In U.K you can get a brand new Vita plus games for £119. (Argos)

Who cares what these people say, if you like and enjoy a console, who ever made it, is all that matters ! I own both handhelds and think there as good as each other.

@Yorumi name a war or a conflict which has not been based on religion ? from the civil war through to the recent troubles in Syria, all of them has had its roots in religion.

The problem with todays world is that every one believes that they have the right to express there opinion AND have others listen to it.

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense !

He dose sound like a bit of a doughnut, but he does have a point, If Nintendo started to port some of its better games ..... more people would get to play them, more money for Nintendo, which could be reinvested back into game development. No one would lose out.

I would get that case, it just made me smile. I own a Vita and a 3d s xl. I honestly think the Vita is the best handheld there has ever been, its just a shame the game line up is sparse. For the next gen of portables (if there will be one ) I would love to see Sony and Nintendo team up ...... for gamers that would be a dream come true.

I'm sure he's not the first nintendo employe to become unwell. Not really news. I'm sure those seven year olds who work for $1 a week in the factory where the wii u is produced are poorly quite often, yet this does not make the news!

All I want, is to be able to play more than 2 online races on MK8, with out seeing "communication error" Nintendo really need to sort there online play. In this day and age there is no excuse for how poorly Nintendo cope with online!

Knowing Nintendo the DLC is all ready on the disc, and will charge a silly amount to unlock it.

The only thing Nintendo need to do to turn MK8 in to a multi million seller ( at the mo it will only sell 100 000 this year at best , being honest ) is to bite the bullet and bring it out on playstation and xbox. Everybody would win .... More people would buy the game, more people to play online, Nintendo would make loads of money, which they could use to make more great games.

I'm looking forward to this, but I really hope Nintendo have sorted the online problems, I had to give up playing MK7 online, due to the fact it was hard to get into a game, and when I did manage to find a race, I would get booted. They never did sort/patch this problem.

@kiz3000 not all, O2 don't, in fact they encourage it. Mobil online gaming is the way forward. I've played many a round of MK7 using 4g on my phone.

It is a shame, I played the demo and thought it was very good, but the same week as this came out, every body's golf went up for free on ps+. So I went for that, and like a lot of people I don't want two golf games ........ Now if Nintendo did something like ps+ on 3ds .....
