I own both and think they are both superb devices. I feel like I have both world covered, PC and Nintendo. One thing I do like however is that the Switch 2 gives me the option to own a game, I already had Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, but I bought it on Ninty so that I have a physical copy of the game. I will do the same when Elden Ring is released as I think it will be years before I stop playing that game

Until 3 came out I'd missed this series entirely. I enjoyed v3 so much, I'm going to hold out for the physical release of this one

Before the switch my last big N console was the N64. I still remember the feeling of amazement when I started the game and felt like I was in the world and could go nearly anywhere. The game arrived today and I'm going to spend tomorrow drowning in retro happiness

Will be getting a physical copy of this for Mario 64 alone. I still remember the feeling of amazement the first time I tried it on my N64, the gfx and the feeling that I could go anywhere plus the sheer fun of running around everywhere jumping like a lunatic had me hooked instantly

Just finished Zelda LA, now just started Sniper Elite 3, Luigi at the end of the month, just don't know where I will find the time for this! Im going to get the cartridge to support the Devs putting the full game on it, and it will go on my to play list which is getting longer by the minute

I bought it when it came out but my first play will be when I get on the plane for my holiday trip. Really looking forward to settling down and immersing myself in this during the flight

Still not sure, never played smash so it's new to me, but I can't make up my mind. Online will probably be great, but is it just another fighting game, great for a couple of weeks, then put aside because I'm bored of mashing buttons? I want to like it but might wait a while and see before I jump in.
I'm not trolling, but as someone new to the franchise I'm looking at the stages thinking endless fights where I will be buttkicked repeatedly by some kid with faster reactions and that's all there is to it..

Dark Souls for me, started last night and I'm addicted, it's been a very long time since I last played an RPG. Mainly because I suck at them, but this time it's part of the fun, but I'm terrible, I mean embarrassingly terrible 🙄

Sitting on a sun lounger by the pool on Holiday in Tunisia, we will be moving nearer to reception so I can pick up a Wi-Fi signal to watch this live on my phone. Looking forward to the new announcements, but my backlog is so massive I can wait for a little while..

As a massive Elite fan, I'm really looking forward to this, if only for the differences, a more arcade based style to combat will be welcome. If this turns out as good as it looks then it will be a day 1 purchase for me

@Fake-E-Lee I think you nailed it. My last console was a N64, all my gaming has been PC based. I have a switch because it gives me options I can't get elsewhere. 720P and 30fps is more than enough for me, the portability is key, anything else I don't care about as it's not why I bought the switch. Nintendo seem to understand why they are selling so many units, and the message is spot on, that's why so many people like me are now console owners again

@therealgamer The Wii U sold next to nothing so ports are fine as the majority of people won't have played these games. It wasn't a bad direct, 2 or 3 games I will buy, and with Bayonetta next month, I have a fair bit of content to work my way through.

I seriously need to find some free time, my backlog is reaching steam proportions! Dark Souls is the highlight for me, though Tropical freeze is welcome as I have never played that. Fe looks intriguing as well. Anything for Rabbids is welcome as I love that game. If you add in Bayonetta 1 and 2, there is enough to keep me going to E3

I only use the controller, have to say I love this game, easy to get into and so much fun to play, having just checked, I have more hours on this than Zelda and I am so not a fighting game fan

More quality games is always a good thing from 3rd party developers, I'm always up for that. What I don't want are an endless load of metroidvania/castlevania clones as the switch deserves better than that...
New and original gameplay is what we need, Mario and rabbids is a shining example of that

@gatorboi352 I used to play the original Contra on a coin op in my local bar, I can remember my best mate and I sinking all our loose change into the co-op mode, good times...

Contra rebirth would be great, I hate to thin k how much I sank into the original arcade version, it was our go to game down the pub back in the day..

I'd like to see the online service fleshed out, Netflix streaming and a Web browser.
On the games side, more big 3rd party releases to give the big N time to work on their 1st party schedule. I don't mind wii U ports as I never owned one.
Im in the same boat as others, I have enough games in my want list I think I can easily get to 2019, so Im curious over what's coming but have enough to play if nothing grabs me

After many hours on Zelda, I cant stop playing ARMS, I'm liking this more and more every time I pick it up. What a year for the big N and we still have the January Direct and Bayonetta/Wolfenstein to come, good times ahead for all

Having spent nearly 8 hrs on the Party Crash today, I'm convinced this one is a winner for me

I'm a network engineer, these things happen, the load would have been extreme and only a skeleton staff around...
I was on in the morning and bought 2 games and then ARMS in the evening so it wasn't too bad.
Lets face it, who gets everything right 100% of the time, companies are no different..

I'm guessing that there is no point in importing the Japanese version as everything would be in Japanese or would it be a setting that can be changed - never imported a game before so I'm curious as I really like the idea of 2 carts

One man, 7 years, yes 7!!! original, beautiful game that everyone seems to be raving about. Yes, I can buy it cheaper elsewhere, but I'm happy to pay for this as I want to play it on the switch, not my mobile phone and I'm happy to support the dev in the hope that he will do something more in the future.
If it is as good as they say, that's a cheap price for 2-3 hours of pleasure, I spend more in a restaurant or the pub in that time...

I'm stuck waiting for season 3 of this one so this will be a useful stop gap until that comes along...

I feel for them, I feel their rage about it, all I have to do is think the magic word "Bayonetta 1 download" and I get how they feel..

Im expecting better things this time around, if their 1st port was Doom, then I have high hopes for this based on what they will have learnt from that.

I was planning on Splatoon being my first MP purchase this xmas but 2 new characters in as many months has me thinking maybe I should give this a go. How large is the online community for this, I won't be wasting my money waiting around for online players will I?

Can't see the issue really, I guess they had price points to hit, and having to buy a memory card is such a small issue when I can play Zelda on the train, I really don't mind
