The Castlevania franchise is my absolute favorite. Sunk it's fangs into me as a gamer since the original on NES, and still sucking me dry to this day. Just showing love to the franchise and appreciate the article doing the same.
@SoraPlaysNintendo That's dope to see an away fan. I am from Vallejo so I like to rep the local legend. But yo, I hope this Nen Impact is a solid game, waiting on my physical delivery so I haven't got my hands on it just yet, but maybe I'll see you around the online lobbies.
@SoraPlaysNintendo I was honestly kinda worrying if they would eventually make a Switch 2 version, but I'll jus bite the bullet so I can practice the system ASAP.
So, I'm not the only Yay Area representation here on NintendoLife!? Thass wassup!
Supported this one as I love the anime, the characters, and fighting games. If I'm not mistaken the same dev team that produced Marvel vs Capcom 3 did this, which is a promising indication this could be a good one.
You know, I remember when this game was announced in the Nintendo Direct, and it was not something that interested me really in the slightest. While I am not a fan of the Danganronpa series (never tried it) I did like Zero Escape, so I bought the game just to support, the special edition at that. And I must say for something I otherwise wouldn't have given a second thought, I am quite enjoying my time with it. Don't regret my purchase at all. Glad to hear the game is doing well.
@ear_wig 1 hunnid. Last update that I saw which was sometimes last year I believe showed they had the cartridges produced, but at this point might as well also include this dlc. But yeah, what a sham. Don't know to blame the developer or First Press games, maybe both.
I guess I'm a minority, I don't get the appeal of this game. Good riddance. Traded my copy in for great value at GameStop for TotK during that initial launch, no regerts.
I play this game every time people continuously refuse to play me on Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Day 60 for me on first playthrough and am enjoying it quite a bit considering I had no intention of picking this game up until I heard the company's pleas of going under if the game wasn't successful.
@Dadou While I am very biased I absolutely loved the 3D Castlevanias on PS2. Unfortunately I agree that the level design, especially in Curse of Darkness left much to be desired, those otherwise could have been all time greats. But to answer your question I would consider those 3D metroidvania proper.
The million dollar question now is will Capcom patch out roll cancelling in Capcom vs. SNK 2?? I can't roll cancel worth ***** so I don't care, but purists may revolt if they do.
@Serpenterror Wouldn't think anyone would mention the old obscure games that came to my mind in Black Belt and Zillion. Very fond memories playing those games at my friend's house in my childhood as I never had a master system. One other I would add to your list is My Hero.
@ChromaticDracula Well, in my opinion Mr. Dracula, not to diminish the work it takes to remaster a game, but it's a Super Nintendo game. Metroid Prime Remastered wasn't even priced at full retail when released. Full retail for Super Mario RPG is a blatant cash grab if you ask me.
Went to a West coast midnight launch too and was shocked at how many folks came thru. I didn't get a plank unfortunately but they gave a Link arm sleeve instead which is alright with me since I only chose GameStop for their trade in promotion
@Bunkerneath If they made an Arcade1Up of this it would be a day 1 kop for me. Absolutely loved bloodying knuckles playing this. And why would your knuckles bleed? Cuz you wasn't gonna put on the grimey stinky ass gloves that everyone else used to play it with lmao
@Kieroni great story. Started with 3U and is my personal favorite. Hope your friend enjoys those old skool MonHuns despite starting with World. At one time I had a dozen friends I could have local hunting parties with, but marriage, having children, and just toxic personalities (none on my end) have severed those ties. I don't know if I should consider myself a winner or a loser lol.
@Lawnachaun Hey I feel you. When I got ring fit I actually gave myself a challenge and said that I can't play any games unless I played ring fit first. Doesn't matter how long, but just get it in to and it's worked wonderfully for me for just about 55 days to the day of almost playing it everyday. I've built a habit of getting in at least 30 "active" minutes in of play time everyday, and while I don't see any results from that yet, I definitely feel much more fit all around as I am a notorious skipper of any exercise not related to arms or chest.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Partner Direct Predictions - What Do You Expect To See?
Castlevania Bloodlines Collection with Rondo of Blood, Symphony of the Night, Lament of Innocence, and Curse of Darkness.
My no chance in hell request. Conjunction with MonolithSoft and Sony for Xenogears Definitive Remake. XD
Re: Toby Fox Wants To Celebrate 10 Years Of Undertale With Your Memories
@JohnnyMind It doesn't take that long really you are only limited to about a hundred characters or so.

@steizgr8 They never even got back to me. Damn these fools. 🤬
Re: Chained Echoes 'Ashes Of Elrant' DLC Arrives On Switch In August
@steizgr8 Likewise, just sent one as well. Everyone that ordered should do the same, this is ridiculous.

Mario RPG was a pleasant surprise until I saw that it's selling for full retail on the eShop.

@larryisaman Agreed. Also agree with less Kanye.

@Sutekh I literally just thought of this exact same thing a couple days ago, would be nice to just have it downloaded.
