Re: Feature: Farewell, Nintendo Switch - It's Finally Time To Bid Our Old Friend 'Adieu'

0ohHeWrong

I had no intention of retiring my Switch 1 if somehow I could have it as a dedicated primary system for Switch 1 games as I bought a nice chunky 1 terabyte memory card for it for all of the digital games ive purchased throughout its lifecycle. But alas, making the Switch 2 my primary account device put an end to that idea, thanks a lot Nintendo. But, alls well that ends well. I gifted the OG to a good friend who had not gamed for a couple of console generations with a starter pack of games, and he loves it. So im super happy it has found a new home with someone who will cherish it for another few years if not more.

Re: Feature: I Play This One Particular SNES Game Every Xmas As A Personal Tradition

Great read from a personal standpoint. I remember at that time I convinced my pops to get it for me if I got good grades in school, and we both made good on that promise. I was so hooked on SF2 as a 10 year old child when I first saw this in arcades. The sight and sound of it was astounding, and it was almost as impressive booting up the SNES version. To this day, some 30 odd years later I still never forget my button layout like its the Konami code, YLXRBA. Merry Xmas, now go home a be a family man!

Re: 'The Hundred Line' Dev No Longer Sees "Bankruptcy As A Serious Future"

You know, I remember when this game was announced in the Nintendo Direct, and it was not something that interested me really in the slightest. While I am not a fan of the Danganronpa series (never tried it) I did like Zero Escape, so I bought the game just to support, the special edition at that. And I must say for something I otherwise wouldn't have given a second thought, I am quite enjoying my time with it. Don't regret my purchase at all. Glad to hear the game is doing well.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of Today's Nintendo Direct?

@ChromaticDracula Well, in my opinion Mr. Dracula, not to diminish the work it takes to remaster a game, but it's a Super Nintendo game. Metroid Prime Remastered wasn't even priced at full retail when released. Full retail for Super Mario RPG is a blatant cash grab if you ask me.

@Kieroni great story. Started with 3U and is my personal favorite. Hope your friend enjoys those old skool MonHuns despite starting with World. At one time I had a dozen friends I could have local hunting parties with, but marriage, having children, and just toxic personalities (none on my end) have severed those ties. I don't know if I should consider myself a winner or a loser lol.

Re: Poll: One Year Later, How Are You Getting On With Ring Fit Adventure?

0ohHeWrong

@Lawnachaun Hey I feel you. When I got ring fit I actually gave myself a challenge and said that I can't play any games unless I played ring fit first. Doesn't matter how long, but just get it in to and it's worked wonderfully for me for just about 55 days to the day of almost playing it everyday. I've built a habit of getting in at least 30 "active" minutes in of play time everyday, and while I don't see any results from that yet, I definitely feel much more fit all around as I am a notorious skipper of any exercise not related to arms or chest.
