Really? They use up space in Corocoro, space that could have been used to introduce maybe at least one new Pokemon from Sun and Moon, they use up that space to inform people about a distribution. Something that they could have done with a simple YouTube video, or a site update.

All we have right now are the names Sun and Moon, and it looks like we'll be going a whole month without finding ANYTHING out at all.

The Wii and its motion controls were stupid. Anyone who liked them is a scrub.

@Zanark You do realize that Kirby games being developed in NO WAY hinder Mario and Donkey Kong games, right? Complaining that we get this rather than those makes no sense because the development team working on each of those series are different.

Like, seriously. Don't act like one little Kirby game is that one thing standing in between you and a new Mario game. Sheesh.

@Pie7 We actually know the basics. You catch, trade, and battle with other people. It's a very social game, and it's what Pokemon was meant to be at its very core.

@crimsontadpoles Huh, interesting. I wouldn't want to go through that. It definitely is easier just to hack Mew, and Sun and Moon would still count it as legit anyway so, glitching it sounds like the way to go, and is honestly a fun way to go about it because then you're actually creating your own "event" adventure of sorts.

@crimsontadpoles I'm pretty sure I've told you this before, but you're wrong. You can only get Mew in Red and Blue through the glitch. Japanese players get a code for Mew, yes, but that's for XY/ORAS.

That bird Pokemon has a crescent shape going up. I first thought it was Talonflames pre evolved form until I saw it. That's our first new Pokemon guys.

@Grumblevolcano No one said that they WOULD bundle these games with a nN3DS. The games are made first, marketing strategies come after the product is done. If need be, I'm sure they'd choose a higher GB SD card for bundles.

@MegaBeedrill You're wrong. These aren't just trademarks, these are trademarks with logos that came out just a day before the next direct, AND Masuda just took a picture of the moon and tweeted it, most likely hinting at the reveal tomorrow.

@HandheldGuru97 These logos and names were officially trademarked a day before the official reveal of what the Pokemon Company called: something "big". I'm pretty darn sure that these have to be that "something big".

@rjejr The information comes from valid sources. They're official trademarks, the message from "Ninlendo of America" is fake, but all it was doing was pretending to confirm the games for 3DS and what-not, so it doesn't really hamper anything. Most likely they were using this as an opportunity to fake legitimacy of their own account rather than the other way around.

But nah, I could see where the guy is coming from if he wasn't part of an Indie studio, because if he wasn't he would probably have a dev kit, but he is and so he's not exactly the triple A tier developer that Nintendo needs at launch. Not to mention he has no proof that AAA game developers DON'T have the dev kit. If they do, then they'd probably be sworn to secrecy.

Now... If Nintendo HASN'T given out the dev kit to developers who actually matter (not Indie devs)... then we probably will have a drought of good games, and most of the games we get will be crappy games made in just a year, rather than games that could have had two years of development before the console was even released.

@Yorumi I'm not saying you can't give your opinion, that's perfectly fine. I'm just explaining that the $10 is pretty justified when looked at from a different angle. Having discussions over things is a part of socializing. It's good to have discussions.

@Yorumi Dude, you need to chill. I'm just saying that the price point is justifiable, and that the price point is pretty cheap compared to what the games are going for on Amazon when bought new. Not to mention wireless trading is a feature that makes it arguably superior to the original titles.

You can think what you want, but this shouldn't be a big deal like you're making it out to be. Twilight Princess's price on the other hand IS a pretty big deal because the work done on the game isn't equal to that of a new title made from the ground up. $30-$35 is truthfully the price point it should have been, because all they did was update the resolution and textures.

If they charged $15 and over? Yeah I'd criticize. If they removed gameplay features? Yes you bet. However those things haven't happened, and those are the only things that warrant criticism.

@Yorumi Oh no, you have to pay a couple more bucks for a game that sells for quite a bit on Amazon new, and is hard to get in an acceptable condition used. Not to mention they had to work on making trading possible. But oh goodness, that's such a small thing that it's completely trivial in your mind.

The gaming community complains about anything and everything. I'm pretty sick of how entitled everyone is.

@Yorumi That still requires work, time, and money. While the process is different, in the eyes of a casual consumer emulation and porting aren't all that different. Don't be that guy who gets all bent out of shape when people use the wrong terminology. No one likes that guy.

This wasn't a free process for Gamefreak/TPC.

There's nothing wrong with people liking the gen 1 games despite being inferior to their remake counter parts. They're the games that started it all and thus hold a special place in the hearts of many across the world. Just because you personally don't care for them and would prefer releases of their remake counter parts doesn't mean that everyone else would. Those don't have the same nostalgic value as the first games for a lot of people.

@Wolfgabe Exactly. There's absolutely no one to talk to, and almost every copyright claim comes from YouTube's automated system and not from the company the content belongs to.

@Bolt_Strike If that's the case, they'd announce it relatively soon. We'll see, but I think my hypothesis holds a bit of ground as of right now, despite it being something that Gamefreak never does. They've roughly had two or more years to work on the next game, and it's not improbable that they'd work on two at once. ORAS was being made during the same time frame as X and Y.

@Operationgamer17 I know because there's been a big fiasco lately where a whole bunch of people on YouTube are getting these random strikes. One guy in particular tried to continually get through to YouTube but they just never replied, and eventually he made a video and it garnered enough attention from people that YouTube was all like "oops we'll put those right back up".

That's just one out of a WHOLE bunch of people who have been affected by their glitchy copyright claiming system.

@ALinkttPresent They probably did. YouTube never responds to anyone. There have been multiple cases of things like this happening without even a simple cease and desist order from anyone, and no one communicates. It's because YouTube has an automated copyright claim system.

@Bolt_Strike I have some speculation as of to what's going on if you're willing to hear it.

Normally it doesn't take this long to announce a Pokemon title. In fact the amount of time spent developing Pokemon Z or what have you could potentially be the most/second most longest development time they've spent on a main series title. Either we're getting a jampacked entry on the 3DS this year, or they're actually going to do something that even I myself would say is highly unlikely and improbable due to how they normally work. It's possible that the large development time came from moving on to HD and using a new engine of sorts because of the NX, and that Pokemon Z or whatever is going to be released with the NX (probably a special order from Nintendo to Gamefreak, otherwise we'd most assuredly see the game on the 3DS) sometime this year so that the console has actual support to keep it afloat and sell units during its initial introduction into the market, something the 3DS and the Wii U didn't have. This also makes it easier to understand why the game has yet to be announced, because if it were being released with the NX, they wouldn't want to reveal it UNTIL the NX is officialy revealed.

Are you sure it's the company itself? YouTube itself doesn't know how to manage it's copyright searching correctly and often gives strikes to things without communication with the company OR the people receiving the strikes. It's became quite frequent as of late and a lot of people are pretty ticked with YouTube because of it.

@thatguyEZ I'm just saying that there are people that play games to get away from the depressing reality of things. Also, if you're the type that does open relationships, you can just decide not to achieve S rank with anyone. It's really that simple. It's not mandatory to marry someone in this game. It's just a bonus.

If you want a dark and dreary reality simulator full of immorality and grey areas everywhere, Fallout is the franchise for you. I'd recommend New Vegas, but if you're just looking to have fun with simple mechanics Fallout 4 is pretty okay too.

@BlueNitrous Not being loyal to whoever you're with and leading other people on is immoral no matter which way you look like it.

Also, people play games to get away from some of the harsh trauma current life can bring. Betrayl and love triangles are certainly two of those things that people want to get away from, especially after a breakup.

This looks absolutely fantastic! It's just sooo cuuute. I'm guessing that it'll be a Mythical Pokemon from generation 7. I can't wait to see how many new ones we get! X/Y had a pretty dismal number if I do say so myself.

@Vee_Flames I disagree. The day that a new generation doesn't have any new Pokemon is the day I'd lose interest. No one wants to use the same Pokemon over and over again. Each region is a new ecosystem, and thus should have its own creatures exclusive to the area. You're in the minority bud.

Also, if you're the type that's complaining that catching them all will be too "hard", I beg to differ. You can literally catch them all with X/Y and OR/AS. Just two games, and you could have them all in two weeks. I know this for a fact because I did it myself. this summer.

@Damo Pokemon Origins solidified the names of the characters we see in Red/Green/Blue as Red(your character) and Green/Blue(your rival).

Before this, Gold and Silver canonized these as characters that had completed their goals, and both held their own positions of relative power. Generally when a character is different in both design and canon story information, they count as different characters.

People can actually notice the difference between 30fps and 60fps? I can't at all. I think this is all just a stigma that stems from humans always wanting the very "best" of something, whether that very best is useful and noticable or not.

@Porky Legendary Pokemon strike me more as Pokemon that are gods ie: they can't be killed and don't die.

Like, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza are absolutely god Pokemon that live forever. The same can be said for Ho-Oh and Lugia, as well as the creation Trio. I think it's very likely that Arceus creates subordinates to maintain the world and its order, and that legendary Pokemon ARE these subordinates.

@CrazyMetroid The only bug I've encountered is a random teleportation bug, and that was soooo cool. I love bugs like that. XD

Fallout 4 isn't as buggy as people make it out to be. I'd also like to point out that OoT and many other Nintendo games have had bugs in the past, yet no one ever acts like its a big deal.

It's not like he has to continue on from 3. You people do know that reboots or separate stories all together are acceptable and don't mess with a previous trilogy, right?

Okay people, I have a bone to pick with this review. This game should have been reviewed compared to the previous games, as they were just as "tedious". What we want to know is if it's just as good as the "Explorers of" games or if it's as bad as Gates of Infinity.
