@A01 I know it hurts for commercial success, but I personally do not mind only nintendo and indie games.

I do wish nintendo would aggressively try to get some pc ports over to the wiiu. I am listening to the Pardox interview with Angry Joe http://youtu.be/YiGZZ3QDth4 and they mentioned how Sony reached out to them for the ps4. The touchscreen could bridge the controls gap between pc and console but so few developers even seem interested.

I get the input lag reason to go wired, but i do not understand why nintendo does not make a pro controller version with gamcube button layout... Clearly everyone is excited for the gamecube controllers even without being concerned about input lag.

This game was awesome, I could not put it down. I would love more of these classic adventure games with interesting stories. Totally made my weekend last weekend.

I didn't think the voice acting was bad at all... My playthrough had some freezing though.

The button/nub layout seems very uncomfortable, I am going to wait until I feel one.

I cannot believe 3ds has new hardware but the wiiu has not yet. I need to replace my game pad I would love to replace with the next iteration.

C'mon nintendo! If you would hurry up and give people what they want this would not be a thing. Get rid of region locking and make games tied to account, people might not be desperate to find a way around it.

I cannot believe how large this character roster is! They do not seem done with the announcements and I can only speculate that DLC might come later too. How can they keep them all balanced?

@jakysnakydx Maybe it is partly because the US is still in an economic slump and unemployment is still high, I feel that talking about the economy and business enters almost every conversation. I think as a whole we are obsessed with companies being successful or not, when in the past we did not care about the inner-workings of large companies.

I really just wish the wiiu and really all the consoles fit in a comfortable selling point where so many articles are not dedicated to "saving" a console. I am so sick of the console wars, and want more thoughtful analysis of the games, but not about sales numbers either.

Is anyone else sick of constant talk about business aspects of gaming?

I was hesitant at first but the amazing reviews this game has received makes me want it.

I buy games that are on other platforms on the wiiu mostly for offtv play. This feature is simply a must for games like this.

oh man if they had a way that we could upload our own sprite sheets and trigger cut scenes and text boxes. Maybe even allow players to charge for elaborate creations like steam workshop.

Man nintendo always has the worst sales... These are not really impulsive worthy prices. I will pick up the yoshi gba game though

@Guitardude7 I agree completely, the wiiu seems like a half-assed effort by nintendo.

I hope for an updated wiiu gamepad.

This seems like it might have more of a story. Chasing Aurora seemed more like a party game. I would pick it up for a good story.

I am so surprised to hear someone from nintendo EAD say "series fatigue". There are clearly innovative internal team members, I cannot wait for new projects.

The games look amazing. I am getting nervous about nintendo's lack of effort in attracting an audience for the wiiu.

I really wish nintendo would do something drastic to incentive wiiu sales even if it is not good business sense in the short term. I feel like nintendo needs to surprise people with something. Most of their problem is public perception about being not relevant anymore. Every "direct" i keep assuming we are going to see a big surprise. Mario 3d World was such a good game but was constriued by the larger gaming public as another rehashed mario title (and it absolutely was not).

C'mon nintendo give wiiu owners a surprise A vague statement, I just hope they step outside their comfort zone a little more, but do not know what that would look like.

I get the feeling that the wiiu is the ugly step child of nintendo... They hardly seemed to talk about it in most of 2013... I get nervous by combining handheld and console departments that most resources just go to 3ds.

i really hope there is a new one for wiiu. perhaps one with a different open world level design.

@Darknyht yeah i am so jealous that the pal version came out for the wiiu. This would of been a good decision to release right before "a link between worlds".

One article is based on demand and excitement and the other is based on the console's actual merits.

I wish I liked this game more, and I doubt I would make levels for it. The puzzle elements are a little redundant and the exploration is such a chore... just imo

This update is much better then the previous version. I am not stuck anymore and found some new puzzles. Before I had no idea what I should be doing or if I was missing a puzzle.

I wonder if nintendo focused more on an online eco system that had more mmo kind of experiences and used servers to alleviate the wiiu's hardware spec short comings, like the xboxone plans todo in the long run with azur.

Looks pretty. I cannot tell about the puzzles yet, are you just finding things and touching the screen? The walking looks like it will get tiresome, so slow...

I cannot believe how harshly critical people are. I thought the advert was good. This made me smile and conveyed that the wire has game while being quirky weird that separates Nintendo from Sony and Microsoft.

It is weird, I am starting to like watching European Nintendo directs and ads more than NoA's. I live in the US. All those indie games showcased in the european direct, mmmmmmm!

I just finished it today. One of the best metaphors for a lot of the in the game mechanics: collecting those sounds were just so beautifully elegant.

This is my first time playing and I have to say it holds up phenomenally! It am really enjoying everything about this game especially the art style. Love it so far and the dialogue is surprisingly funny.

@sonicfan1373 I know right... The 3ds has so many interesting game experiences! Just looking at the specs I would of thought this would never work, the assortment of software really made that thing awesome!

I really like Bill Trinen much more then Reggie. Just seems more relatable and seems like he knows the games better. Still an air of that careful corporate language... but of course there is.

Awesome kind of sounds like a more robust version of what lego city had. Cannot wait to play an rpg on this console.

I kind of get he is not super happy working with nintendo... I think this article was trying to stir that notion, he personally doesnt like the wiiu but that is who is publishing platinum's latest games.
