It seems that Ubisoft just can't help itself when it comes to eShop discount promotions. In what appears to be a bi-monthly occasion, it's slashed the prices of a substantial range of titles on both the Wii U and 3DS stores in order to drum up some more sales.
There are plenty to get through, though no fresh discounts in Europe — wipe away those tears, Europeans, we did get a few permanent discounts from Ubisoft just recently.
Without further ado, below are the latest discounts in North America, all running until 7th July.
Wii U eShop
ZombiU — $22.49, normally $29.99

Pass.
Woah those 3DS discounts...if only Nintendo would do the same with some of their older titles. I wouldn't mind having a digital copy of Star Fox 64 on the go
Dang, these sales are pretty sweet. Though my virtual wallet begs to differ as I really only have 50 cents on me.
meh
Ok, so now that s sale. I may need to jump on Rayman now at that price.
To all on the fence about Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, if you don't get it now I pity you.
May also get ACIII.
I'd grab Cloudberry, but I know it'll eventually go cheaper...
Hmm, bought Rayman Legends for $40 and traded it in for $30. Maybe I should rebuy for $20, lol.
Ouch..ive paid $27 on the last sale 2 months ago an I havent played it yet.
I'll get Rayman Legends.
@Prof_Clayton Think I'll pick up Cloudberry Kingdom finally. Been over a year now, and this is the best deal they've done so far... it might go lower someday, but I dunno.
Hm, I think i'll grab Rayman Origins for my 3DS.
Now I just need Best Buy to give me another sale on eshop cards then I'm all set. I need another 50$ one for only 40$
Hmm may get Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D.
Might have to get Cloudberry Kingdom and either Rayman Legends or AC IV.
@XFsWorld If you like Fire Emblem or Avance Wars then you should love it. Best launch game by far!
Definitely grabbing Cloudberry Kingdom.
Bought ACIV 2 months ago for $20....never opened it....maybe I should get the D4L version and resell the disk
Ok everyone, if you haven't already, pick up Rayman Legends NOW O_O
first good sale I see for 3DS eshop, unfortunately I don't care for any of the 3DS ubisoft titles
Whoa that's a big steal, too bad I already have most of these already they should be doing this with retail too (if they aren't already)
I did not know cloudberry was an ubisoft game. I assumed it was indie...
Thinking of getting: cloudberry and ghostrecon
Rayman Origins for for $7.50!??!?!??!? SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALSO EVERYBODY BUY: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D: easily the best launch title on the 3DS and still one of the better SRPGs on the system.
Does anyone know how many blocks Shadow Wars and Splinter Cell 3D take up on the system for each? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure which yet.
I wish Ubisoft would discount their DLC for Assassin's Creed 3. I hear that only the third chapter was good, but as a history nerd I really want to fight an evil George Washington. But not for $30. Think I'll get Ghost Recon based on the above recommendation.
Rayman Legends is SOOOOO temping!!!!!!!!!
I don't want/already have the Wii U games, but I might get Rayman 3D and/or Ghost Recon. I've been wanting them for a long time, and these prices actually beat the retail prices, even on used copies. These great 3DS eshop sales are making it hard to save money for the upcoming Wii U eshop games.
Those Rayman games tempt me.
I'll get Cloudberry once the Club Nintendo year rolls over.
I'd buy rayman legends no more than 15 euros on eshop if sale comes to Europe. I still can't find rayman origins on wii disc at less than 20 euros.
@Blast Give in! Fantastic game, particularly with friends/family.
@outburst Legends actually includes the majority of Origins in case you weren't aware. Legends is also vastly superior, especially with the Gamepad features.
Would love similar sales in Europe : )
Since I already have rayman on disc, I will get Cloudberry Kingdom.
Thankfully the discounts are until July 7th, so I can give priority to Shovel Knight, Guacamelee and Armillo and net coins for the new Nintendo year at the same time.
Disregard my earlier question on blocks required. Found it online.
Splinter Cell 3D: Blocks required: 10,000+
Ghost Recon Shadow Wars: Block Required: 1,733
I'm going to get Ghost Recon Shadow Wars tonight when i get home.
These are actually some nice 3DS sales.
I just bought PSASBR for $5 this morning (hold me over until Winter/Holiday 2014) and next week I finally DL WW HD from my MK8 purchase. I have 5 games that need registering July 1. And week to spend 900 coins before they expire. Guess I'm getting a green shirt.
I just bought Rayman Legends for $6 from Targer using their recent $15 off any $39.99 game with purchase of $1 reservation card.
Got AC4 for $15 at Toys R Us two days ago on their clearance sale
Got ZombiU for $9.99 at Best Buy two weeks ago.
If you try hard enough there are way better deals to be had if you are patient. Plus physical is always better
@rjejr Since when do coins expire?
I second and third those recommending Shadow Wars. Very good SRPG and a little known fact is it was created by the guy that did the oringal X-com and Rebel Star games.
Half price for Rayman Legends is pretty tempting...
ZombiU was $19.99 up until last night. Has it gone up?
ZombiU is regularly $20 marked down to $15 on the Canadian eShop at least.
Can anyone here recommend Rayman 3D? Might get it if it's a solid port.
@iphys SOLD
Assassin's Creed IV is somewhat tempting, but I will probably just pick up the physical version from a bargain bin eventually. Don't want that stuff using up HDD space (and being launch-able by small children).
legends is tempting at 20
@AJWolfTill
So I'm not missing a lot if I don't play Origins and just buy Rayman Legends? If that's the case then you're my savior!
Legends got (a huge part of) Origins inside of it as an unlockable.
Like many have said, Shadow Wars is surprisingly good and should be bought by anyone who doesn't absolutely hate turn-based strategy. I would re-buy it with that price. Also Rayman Origins and maybe Legends after that.
No Child of Light discount... sigh
Rayman 3DS games and Ghost Recon.
Legends? For 20 bucks? Sold! I may also get the Clancy games on both formats.
I might pick one of these up... Still trying to decide.
Shadow Wars is a really under appreciated little strategy game. I had a lot of fun with it.
And ACIV and Rayman Legends at 20 bucks is a great deal. Those two combined will literally get you 100+ hours of entertainment, not even kidding.
Whoa, I might get shovel knight, rayman and ghost recon this week.... i need a bigger sd card tho
edit: or maybe just shovel knight, I've got a large backlog already
I was going to post my copy of Rayman Legends on Ebay last week, until I saw that there are multiple copies out there that can be had for < $15. I will keep it and pull it out every once in a great while.
Saving for Shovel Knight, im THIS close of getting ZombiU (in Chile, its 35 normal) and Ghost Recon, someone care to persuade me of getting ZombiU ? It is worth at this price point ?
JUST when a Steam Sale is going and got my WiiU 2 weeks ago, my wallet cant stand it anymore
Since the only one I'm interested in has a bad review score (Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D), I'll skip on buying any of them. Too bad I'm not a fan of Rayman.
Dat Rayman 3D & Rayman Origins for $7.50 a piece. Sure I'll bite.
Hace you Player Splinter Cell Blacklist o ACIV? I've been considering buying this games, but I am not sure. And what about Rayman Legends?
MAYBE Rayman Origins on 3DS. Thing is I've already played it to death on the Wii and I also have a digital copy on the PS3 that I've barely touched (got it for $10 in a sale). Also, the 3DS version forgoes multiplayer, something that made the console versions great. Origins is a great game, but I'm not sure if I'll get it.
20$ for Legends? I'd bite, if my funds weren't reserved for Shovel Knight.
Then again, for that price, I'd consider clearing AC3 off my HDD for AC4. I'd keep both, space isn't the issue, but having two Assassin's Creed games? Seems kind of pointless. I would always get rid of old sports games before updating to the newer version, why not with yearly franchises in other genres?
@Spoony_Tech Also considering ACIII, as I'm kind of a Revolutionary War nerd. Also, never played an AC game before, and I understand the intro phase of this one is longer, which annoyed longtime fans, but would actually help me as a n00b. Got a $5 eShop credit from the Digital Deluxe Promotion too, so $10 is pretty cheap for a game like that.
Anyone want to warn me off ACIII? Keep in mind I never played the franchise before.
@ThomasBW84 - I'll check these out tonight for any differences in Canada.
While I'd like to pick up Rayman, I get retail versions when possible, so...
I'll definitely be picking up both raymans for 3ds and probably 1 more of tom clancys
@Spoony_Tech - As far as I know coins always expire June 30th 2 years after you earn them.
@rjejr Thanks for the reply. I guess I never get that close to losing them.
Man rayman legends at the price is tempting, but i have to save my money for shovel knight.
@earthboundlink I've played all of 30 mins of ACIV and I really liked it. Haven't had the time to get back into it though and it's also my first experience with it. Got it on sale at so that's why I went with that one first but I really wanted ACIII first because of the setting more then anything. My friend just got it and said it both good and online is enjoyable if that helps.
no child of light so nothing for me.
@DracioKoi Ghost Recon Shadow Wars is great. Not sure where you have seen a bad review score - it's by far the best launch title and well worth playing if you like Advance Wars/Fire Emblem type games.
@DracioKoi Like was said above I've only seen positive to great review scores. Don't go off of just one score.
First the Steam Summer Sales start, then this... I'll try to go for Rayman Origins on 3DS, assuming I'm still able to afford it after the Steam sales.
@DracioKoi
http://www.metacritic.com/game/3ds/tom-clancys-ghost-recon-shadow-wars
Here's a better way to tell. Mostly positives and imo and many others a great game!
@Spoony_Tech @TheWeird Oops my bad! Sorry, I copied and pasted the wrong one. I meant Splinter Cell 3D.
I was also looking at Ghost Recon but sadly I'm not in the tactical strategy mood.
I'm going to Marvel Avengers, Smurfs 2 for my kids and pet fantasy 3D for my daughter. Maybe also get ACIV, not 100% percent though.
Dang, Rayman Origins for 3DS is VERY tempting with that price.
buy something other than rayman god dam fanboys
Great price for Ghost Recon on 3DS - easily worth that much for any turn-based strategy fans. Glad to re-add that game to my collection after having sold my retail copy earlier.
None of the Wii U games are cheaper than retail versions if you shop around... but at least the digital pricing is comparable while the sale is going on.
Been looking for a great platformer for my 3DS for a while now. I'll probably pick up Rayman Origins. Maybe even both. Hopefully I'll like them.
I'm going to get Rayman Legends, and sell my disc version (or give it to a friend). I'll probably also pick up Rayman 3D. ZombiU is pretty tempting, as well. Too many decisions!
Wii U owners, Rayman Legends is one of the best platformers in recent years (I'd say one of best 2D platformers ever). If you don't have it, grab it now!
Amazon beats all these prices...got Splinter Cell, the disc version, for $14.
Splinter Cell is very tempting at that low price
Played Rayman Legends back when the demo challenge mode was still online. I was in the top 200 at the time, with several diamond cups. I never bought the game, though, due to lack of funds. I think it's high time to return to it.
@Scott123 LMAO Rayman is objectively the best thing here, it has nothing to do with fanboyism. Shadow Wars is also good.
@Agent721 True, disc prices are close to these, and physical media is definitely the preferred method... at least, until the Wii U gets it's own HB channel...
@Spoony_Tech Thanks! Also, unrelated, but has anyone else lost streaming options in TVii after the last update in May 2014? I can't find anyone else having this problem.
I sure am going to miss those unreleased shovel wars titles that Ubisoft aren't going to release for the Wii U.
This shovelware is still cheaper at retail.
Finally time to get Rayman 3D and maybe Orgins. Is DLC discounted as well? I'd like to pick up AC3 DLC.
Still no Child of Light?
I can get these used for cheaper and not have to waste my hd space. Besides I own the ones I would really like.
A lot of good stuff here, liking the price drop on Rayman Origins 3DS a lot, and maybe Assassins 3. (ZombieU is still too much, just bought it for 13 bucks new on Amazon)
Got ZombiU for $14.99 on the Canadian eShop. Does anyone knows why it's even cheaper on Canada?
$7.50?! I'll definitely be grabbing TC's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D at that price!
Most of the ones that interest me I've already picked up. I was tempted to get rabbids land and trade in my physical copy when smash brothers or bayonetta is available to preorder at my local ebgamess but they're only offering $7 credit for it so I will just keep it. Although ghost recon is tempting....
Okay, I am really tempted with Ghost Recon but the Steam Summer Sale has put a damper on my wife's nerves.
I have all the (one) titles I want from them on Wii U. I think that's why the big publishers holding back means so little to me: they just don't make games I want to play!
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3D is a must-have, i agree. I'm playing it recently and i have to say it's an amazing turn-based game. Not even a walk in the park on the easiest difficulty, lots of diversity and an incredibly long and well-done campaign. Loving it.
Yikes, you'd think they thought this was Steam.
I'm not at all a fan of ridiculous sales on digital products.
@rjejr That is correct. You can check the status of your coins on the club Nintendo website.
Rayman Legends! I rented it quite a while back but have yet to buy it due to being so behind on my backlog. That game is outstanding! I MUST get it now! A little early birthday present (July 14th for anyone who wants to know!) for myself. Heck thats even pretty close to the Amazon price!
Those 3DS discounts though...
I couldn't recommend Shadow Wars enough. It's a fantastic game. Rayman 3D is excellent an all, but a little dated.
Black Flag would be a great buy (my brother has it for Xbox) but that 15 gig download size is killer. Can't justify a purchase that takes up half my HD.
Rayman Legends
Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Absolute must have games. If you own a Wii U and don't own these games, and have no intention of buying them, I would have to question your taste and judgement!
ZombiU
Assassin's Creed 4
Pretty dang good, highly recommended games. Wouldn't go so far as to say they're MUST haves, but they're highly desirable, let's put it that way.
Whether by digital sale or cheap online retail, I would encourage anyone and everyone with a Wii U, who doesn't yet own these games, to get on it already! You'll thank me later.
@TurianAgent
External hard drive is a must with any console nowadays (or in the case of PS, an expanded hard drive). Even if you only buy physical copies, you'll still probably need a hard drive. I buy physical only, so the only digital games I get are VC, indies and digital-only releases. And even then, I'm down to just 10gb. PS4 is even worse. Only own 6 physical games and 2 indies from the PSN store, and I've already eaten up 160gb of my 500.
I think we've finally reached a point where you pretty much need a hard drive if you own a console now.
Who actually buys Ubisoft games at full price?
@outburst
I think the specifics were 40 of the 60 levels?
It includes all the boss fights as far as I'm aware and misses out the entirety of the game's secret world and 2-3 of each world. Don't put off buying Legends but if you love it you may still want to get Origins
Picked up Splinter Cell 3D since it's so cheap. Not a bad game at all. Not great, but not bad.
Rayman Legends is a no-brainer at $20. Totally picking it up tonight.
@Spoony_Tech
Ditto here.
So instead of paying 60 bucks for Rayman Legends (retail value) we buy it now for 20 dollars and end up spending like 16, due to the Best Buy offers. Last time I bought 135 dollars for like a 110, plus tax.
I picked up Rayman 3d and gotta say pretty cool game. 3d looks great, game plays great and it has a really nice atmosphere. My only issue are these really low res pictures they used as Loading screens and story telling. They are really bad.. It would have been better just leaving a Loading Graphic or black screen. But the game is very nice and look pretty in 3d.
