I may grab this. I have it on PC but I've only put maybe 2-3 hours into it.

I have the PC version and I can't get into it. I just can't 'walk around' and look in every nook and cranny for stuff if I don't have some sort of goal.

It may not be 'competing' directly but folks still have budgets so it's competing for those entertainment dollars.

I have a switch and no ps4/xb1. I stopped hardcore gaming years ago and I do still keep a PC around mostly for GTA and hopefully Red Dead 2 get's moved over soon.

I also only have 1 viable TV to play games on (small condo) so no consoles for me. I don't even hook the switch up to it.

too bad the graphics aren't completely remastered to look more like the cartoon.

the graphics weren't bad for back then but we should get better now. Oh well; may pick it up if the price is right ($15 bucks or so).

Have you played GTAV on a ps3 or 360? It's HORRIBLE. Barely the same game as the twins/pc.

I'd take san andreas but V wouldn't be done justice on the Switch.

Not every game has to be cut down to soupy mine craft-ish graphics and shoe-horned onto the switch. N could've made a competing console but has decided to not keep up and go their own way after making too many bad decisions with the n64/gc.

I have bayonetta 1/2 but haven't finished 1 yet. I like it but it's not the greatest or anything. Haven't played Nier at all.

I'd say these are like God of War. Same stuff over and over (i gave up on God of War trying to play 3 which is the same damn game over and over).

This one looks interesting but I wouldn't pay full price. That and I'm still holding out hope for a switch 2 with more power. The switch is woeful at this stage and N needs to update it at a faster cadence.

Need for Speed hasn't been fun in forever but I don't fault EA really.

It's a chicken and the egg type thing. Their games haven't sold well on switch, but they don't bring the same game to the switch as the clones so i dunno.

Also they probably don't really care to go through the process of turning a ps4 game into a ps3 game. Since the days EA grew to 'too big' they've been cheap and pretty crappy in general. Long gone is the EA of yore.

Enjoy PC gaming. I do as well. If a game doesn't come out then you just don't get to play it. Same as it's always been.

Oceanhorn is so boring. It's like they said; 'let's copy zelda' and then did but lost all the good stuff in the process. Just BORING.

I don't need to buy this; but I'll probably buy this.

I really wish they'd keep this style or something similar and redo link to the past, the original zelda, and start making new ones like this again. BOTW looked ok (i liked the look of wind waker more) but i'd much rather play the top down than 3d stuff.

I"ve never really played streets of rage. I think i played the rom once or twice for a few minutes but that's about it.

Maybe i'll grab that sega pack that has all 3 in there.

I had final fight (both snes and sega cd). The sega cd copy was as close to the arcade as you can get (coop and the industrial level that was cut from the snes copy).

Hmm. I know there was a master system version of sonic. Was that released after the genesis version?

I had the game gear version and that was; I thought; basically the master system version ported over.

I get where you're going with that but this one doesn't look quite as bad as that.

I'd rather hand drawn or maybe a very detailed pixel game but this isn't too bad.

Well to be fair; pixel games are the only games the switch can run without issue.

And it still doesn't run as well as it did on a 486...

Too bad Sega buried themselves in add-ons and the unfortunately priced Saturn.

I guess same; too bad N didn't roll with the SNES CD then we wouldn't have Sony in the game.

It's mainly for the PC which isn't an underpowered device.

the java version has a ton of mods that make it look really nice (as nice as minecraft can at least).

eh, aren't there a few switch games with 'quality' and 'performance' settings?

ps4 pro is chock full of that stuff now. 1080 good framerate, terribad 4k checkerboard bad framerate.

Either the switch needs an update STAT or Bethesda is turribad and cheap. I'll put my money on both.

I might agree with you but i dunno.

The switch is a slow-bee so even though the game doesn't look all that taxing; it may well be depending on the engine. I assume it's unreal so who knows. it may be toward the upper limit of what an old phone.. i mean the switch can do.

Is the Switch version a mess or is this all versions? I mean; a toaster can run doom so if the Switch is the only version that has issue then Bethesda needs to quit porting and just stick to the big boys; or preferably; N releases a switch2 post haste.

Mouse/KB in Doom? What? There was no looking, just flat plane. I played on 3DO with a gamepad just fine and on PC just used arrow keys.

Now Doom3 sure. If you can do FPS with a controller it would be fine. I'm not great and prefer mouse/kb.

Cool news though. I may pick up 1 or 2. I have 3 on the PC.

I've only seen 'drift' when I played docked and I'm not sure if it's the stick issue or the bluetooth issue that was found on early models.

I don't play docked and it doesn't drift handheld so I haven't contacted N about it.

As for the lite; no thanks. Switch 2 yes. Switch smaller and still under-powered? nope.

I remember playing one of these (i think) on the ps3 or 360 maybe?

not bad. I think i'd rather have a side scroller like xmen or final fight though.

To be a Switch 2 it would need a better cpu/gpu along with more/faster ram and such.

I do have to wonder; does Nvidia have anything in this space to even upgrade to? I mean this chip is still in the shield devices which you'd think would be upgraded but not so who knows.

The original 2 is hot trash compared to the updated version. Not even graphics; just the horribad control that resident evil delights in.

Count me out on all of em. RE games age like dirty diapers and weren't much better on release day.

The gba version was 'ok', the gamecube version was terrible.
