Awesome been ages since we last saw a castlevenia game. Though i am still hoping to see Rondo Of Blood.

Really great game. Some fantastic CD quality music that suits this game. The levels are top notch too with great bosses and great elvel design.

Highly recomended if you like shoot em ups.

Finally DoReMi has come over. Took far too long to come. While i like the idea of Ys its futher proof that the Wii needs a HD add on for big games like it.

Awesome week for just Super Mario RPG along. Highly recommended for all Mario fans and RPG fans alike.

Oh the memories. I loved this game back when it came out on the N64. Good times. Some very inventive but strange courses though.

Unless the virtual console version can save high scores. I see this as a complete waste of time since you can get this on a Namco collection disc on different formats (this was on gamecube right?)

@Drake i disagree i think the original Metroid is better then Metroid II though the sequels are far Superior.

Did somebody mention Secret of Mana? Wow there was me thinking Square wouldn't bother bringing out any great RPG's for the VC. Mario Golf is cool though i already have the N64 cartridge so it's not essential for me.

No SMRPG but you guys got 2 great games this week. Dunno if i would download YS myself since i am only barely getting into proper RPGs.

Oh and SMRPG will come you just have to wait 1 or 2 months lol
(like us europeans who had to wait for Super Metroid and Zelda:ALTTP for 2 months.)

An extremely enjoyable RPG. At the time of writing i have just got one of the 7 stars and now up to the underground sewers bit. Man this is better then FF 7. (and people said that was one of the best RPGs) ? :I

Downloaded on a whim. Finally glad its been put up again as i couldn't't get my Wii online on time when it was released "07. I had hopes that this would come again. Finally NOE has rectified one of its mistakes.

Agreed I am dissapointed to see no sign of Dracula X but at least we got Super Mario RPG and SMB:TLL as well as two top quality coming up soon so all is not lost. Still could have done without Spelunker.

@Bass there is still a chance to in seeing Parasol Stars and Sonic coming out September. Remember Metal Slug came out on a Hanabi Week sometime ago.

I am well chuffed that Super Mario RPG and the lost levels is out. Can't wait to get DoReMi Fantasy: Milon’s DokiDoki Adventure and Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa either.

About time you guys got Star Parodier. I highly recommend this game to anybody who is interested since this is perfect for those who find shoot em ups too difficult. At the same time it appeals to those who want a challenge. since you can crank up the difficulty.

@ hansolo350 How could I forget, though like i said there is still the issue of MS and Nintendo agreeing to put the game up.

Shame the companies involved can't just come to an agreement and let Goldeneye come to BOTH XBLA and the VC. That way both Nintendo and Microsoft benefit by getting tons of profits. Good job i already played the N64 cartridge to death.

Um so you guys were supossed to get Mega Man? Wounder why NOA keeps changing it's mind with confirmed releases. Maybe because they had a bad day who knows? Still an ok week though.

Those games wouldn't come right away since RARE owns the rights for the games mentioned in the vid (perfect dark, banjo goldeneye etc). And i hope nintendo does come into agreement with rare to bring the games to the VC since in my opinion they are the best game ever created for the N64. Even i would download them despite completing them numerous times.

Ouch bad week. Bad week for me too since i was expecting Chase HQ to get a great review from VC-R. Guess i was kinda interested in the game since ONM had a feature on the Turbographx and it got mentioned as one of the games to look out for.

... But now i am put off by the 2 star rating so now i don't think i will be getting this after all. Shame as ONM said this was one of the Turbographx games to look out for.

@ Outrunner i am with you on this one but i guess they are putting up the Master System version since people know that version better that the TG-16 version.

Looks like you americans are finally getting some games before us Ys I and II. I guess us PAL users might not get that game for a while since the bunch of Turbographx games we got a couple of months back is still wating to be released in America.

Um no Thunderforce IV? Isn't that one of the the best Shmups you could get on the Mega Drive? Still great list can't wait for all those games to arrive.

Been waiting for Parasol Stars to be announced for ages. Never expected the Mega Drive version SFII to arrive.

Can't see anything wrong with this week. IK+ sounds quite cool and i am quite tempted to get Neo Turf Masters. And this is coming from soembody who is not to fussed on sports titles. Maybe its just me been impressed easly.

I knew it was coming soon (when it was rated by the OFLC). Might get this when it comes out.

Awesome congrats on the interview. I always like to have the odd glance of Retro Gamer in WHSmith, though i always find it quite expensive so i end up not getting it.

Remember just because Donkey Kong is in a game title doesn't mean it's a great game. Donkey Kong 3 is a perfect example.

This looks like a really cool game and possibly one of the best Mega Drive games (well as far as i heard). I do have to agree with Mickeymac though the sword sound is a bit off putting but you get used to it after a while i suppose.

So is this the same as Fatal Fury 2? I might give this a download since i kinda like the Fatal Fury games fro some reason even if they are the early editions.

Finally downloaded this, Its very good with cute visuals and a great soundtrack. Looks easy but the later levels are quite tricky.

Quite a cool week. I also predict KOF 95 to be rated soon too and hopefully the 96 version will come quickly (well i hope at least).
