Re: Another OFLC Update - Turbografx Imports Galore!

Import titles FTW glad Hudson decided to bring Gradius II to the VC.

I wonder when the next Hanabi Festival is? with the amount of titles announced it now seems very likely. Maybe another SNES game like Super Mario RPG would show up pehaps?

LOL sounds like a crazy game judging from the review. Such a shame the gameplay sounds a bit rubbish though.

Re: Super R-Type

So going to download this the next time i get my Wii online. I loved the other two r-types that are currently on the VC.

Dracula X would be an awesome addition for the Turbographx libary. And so is Phantasy Star 3 since this is a sign us europeans are getting any month now.

Also glad that the Neo Geo is getting updated again, though since you can get Metal Slug with 5 others on the antologey version i don't see any reason to download this.

Re: Vectorman

On youtube this looks like an awesome game i do wounder if this is worth getting though since i heard some people saying they loved this game and others saying its avergae. I am really puzzled :S

Re: Talking Point: The State of Play of the Virtual Console

I am really impreassed with the amount of great quality titles nintendo managed to put up last year.

Even though things have dried up a bit for the VC there still have been some great hits like Lords of Thunder, Phantasy Star 2, 1800 Snowboarding, Kirby, Street Gangs,Super Turrican,Harvest Moon etc.

Heck this slowdown of releases gives me time to download more titles i didn't get to download last year.

Re: EU VC Releases - March 14th - Super R-Type

slangman

Yay finally Super-R Type is finally here. I was actually praying it would come to the VC the day before. even though its not as good as the other 2 R-Types on the VC i will still give this a go.

Operation Wolf on the otherhand is really pointless due to the lack of zapper support and it doesen't help its a bad arcade port. Would be better if it was Ghosts and Goblins though.

Re: Baseball

Played this when it was unlocked on Animal Crossing, Kinda unremarkable, i only played for 5 mins then i just switched it off again due to the dullness of not batting.

Re: Hardware Focus - Commodore 64

Very intreasting article you got there

C64 sounds like a great addition to the Virtual Console. As long as the great C64 games come up avalable i'll be a happy lil retro gamer.

Re: Cruis'n USA

Definitely avoiding ths one, i read a review back in the N64 days from NOM (it was an offical nintendo magazine in my country) which they gave this game a bad review saying the game can be completed quickly and the music is awful. The sequel is better though.

Re: R-Type

By far the best TG-16 up on the VC so far, This is a great yet very hard game. I can only get up to level 3 ):

Re: Axelay

slangman

Axelay is awesome but why do us Europeans have to suffer waiting for this game? Australia got it like 4 months ago.
@ Homer Simpson Probotector 2 for the NES isn't on the Australia and New Zealand VC console.

Re: Virtual Console Passes 10m Downloads Milestone

slangman

Not much of a suprise since there are loads of great games like A link to the Past, Super Mario 64, Sonic 1,2,3 Streets of Rage, the list goes on. Heck i have about 20 games downloaded and i am struggling to download all those great games
