@timp29 I actually really really want SOM too. And here was me hoping i wouldn't be buying any more Wii points for a while. Wrong as usual.

@corbie I heard there is an actual cartridge of Seiken Desnsetsu 3 alright but I dunno if the emulation of the game plays just like Japan version. I don't really like playing PC ROM dumps from their original games. Besides i don't really like dragging my SNES out.

Yeah graphically OOT is starting to show wear and tear but the gameplay is still fantastic to this day. One of my favourite games.

@WiiMan192 No prob glad you enjoy this game. And yeah it is kinda better than TP.

@ Tony hopefully you guys will get Gradius II next week (unless the site changes again). Besides it has to come out this month for you guys.

@ marktheshark there was an unofficial fan translation of the game. Will that version appear on VC? Who knows.

YESSSS! Still not out in EU but i managed to pick up a 2000 AU Wii Points card switching my country settings to AU. And guess what it works. Awesome Awesome game.

I have a feeling this will come out sometime in mid 09. It can't come out soon since there seems to be no sign of a PAL release. So we should get this as a Hanibai Festival title than.

The more Mega Man games Capcom bring to the VC the more money Capcom will get from my wallet.

@capcom83 I keep hoping for that myself (i don't really like games with watered down music like Kid Icrous, Castleveina and Sonic 1) Besides i dislike PC emulators anyway, doesn't do the games any justice.

Man i love this game great Run n' Gun action on the VC. I even replayed this game again.

Not really convinced with Dynamite Headdy. Even if i really liked Gunstar Heroes and S&P. I was going to give this a try untill i got burned with Alien Soldier.

It does look really great graphics for a Mega Drive title though.

Wow you can download VC games to your SD card. Big deal you still have to swap games from your SD card to the Wii just to play one game. It's only partly a good idea

Great review! I always found this game very hard and i only managed to unlock a couple of characters (up to Yoshi I think). Shame there's no other way to unlock the hidden characters from the GBC version.

@ WiiMan192 yep you should. Best game ever on the N64 in my book.

Would have rather had the SNES version since the sound and graphics are better but since this MD version has an extra level and the graphics aren't that bad i guess it's well worth a download after all. Always wanted to try the Earthworm Jim games out.

Is this worth a look for somebody who doesn't play RPGs much apart from the Pokémon and Mario titles? I am considering getting this.

I am happy with the quality of this weeks releases anyway regardless. I guess the fact we got 3 WiiWare releases for the past month kinda makes up for although i am more of a VC fan.

2 good quality games this week. But it's only 2 games though. Spread that out between 2 weeks and it's the equivalent of 1 game a week.

A bit annoying. I just bought a DS Lite 3 months ago. unless it can download GB,GBC and GBA i won't be that intrested in buying it.

@Jockolantern i don't think the Wii can take 4GB cards, only up to 2GB.

About time. I hate swapping TurboDuo, N64 and big Neo Geo to my SD card.

Glad to finally see a sequal to Sin & Punishment and a Punch Out game for the Wii.

EDIT: Pikmin for Wii is announced but it's a gamecube port of one of the 2 games.

I will be considering getting this. I liked the orginal (although i didn't play it much on my Wii). Can you aim in all eight directions? i found Super Turrican annoying because of this.

@ Adroitone when you say SNK volume collections do you mean the Wii version or the PS2 version?

Didn't expect Super Turrican this week but I suposse it's worth a look if you enjoyed the orginal. Could have done with including Super Pitfall just to get it out of the way.

Juice the only Co-Op shmup i an recall on the VC would be Bio Hazard Battle. Just beware that it's not as fun in 1 player.

Would be great if the SuperGrapx came over to the west. So is it still worth getting the Mega Drive version of Ghouls N Ghosts if we do actually get the SuperGrapx version?

No suprise. While Digital Boxing sounds meh Gradius II is one of the best shooters with great music.

Would be great if the Darius games came over here. The only exciting games for them is DKC 3 and Metal Slug 2 but to be fair I feel they have been getting way to many great games for the past 6 months which is unfair to the US and PAL VC since we only get about 2 games on average every month. Wounder what New Zealand story is like?

Dunno if it has stood the test of time but i doubt i will be getting this since sports aren't my sort of thing.

Well i knew this was coming but i didn't expect it so soon. Not exactly essential for me since i already own the anthology version although the slowdown in this game can be quite annoying.

Saw this mentioned in a gaming magazine yonks ago. Sounds great. Shame it's another game caught up in licencing issues. Although i still hope Nintendo will give this to us in a rainy day.

Just because somebody says a certain game is going to exclusive on a console doesn't mean it won't come to other consoles. Look at what happened to Bioshock. It would be a shame if BK never got released on the VC.

Fantastic review. I hope i get my Wii back from repairs in time for this. I have never been excited about getting a game since Brawl came out.

It looks ok but i dunno about getting this since I find the original Sonic meh compared to Sonic 2 and 3.

I would love to know what happend to ONM? They were great with reviewing VC games but now they cut down on reviewing the VC since giving their mag a new look and they even give VC games like SSII unfair scores now.

If the americans are getting Vectorman then i hope us europeans will get Axelay soon. It's waaaaaaaaaay over due and it's only fair since the only big games NA are waiting for are ESWAT and Gradius II. And of course not forgetting getting beloved C64 games.

Finaly you guys have Vectorman. I would download it myself but us europeans got palmed off with a nasty PAL conversion with S-L-O-W music. Super Dodge Ball looks cool too.

I will have to give it a miss. The fact that the home button doesn't work with games like Super Probotector and Super Mario World has put me right off. Besides my Classic Controller doesn't give too much problems. Shame as this looks quite good on paper.

Last Ninja 3 looks cool. Dunno about SF2 i already own the Turbo version though i have played the MD version before.

@Mr. Cheez There definitely was a Last Ninja 2 for the NES. I wouldn't bother with it since i hear it's not as good as the C64 version.

Dunno twice? It does look quite a lot like ExciteBike though? (except for the fact its isometric.)

Excitebike keeps coming to my head everytime i watch the movie. Looks quite cool though. But has it stood the test of time well?

Theres already a wireless classic controler out but the fact that this has 30 hours of life with just 2 batterys sounds alright. I will have to give it a miss though.

Not a bad game but I feel the controls are a hit and miss and the game timer ruins the action for me. Shame

@ Marvel_Maniac SMB:TLL is easier then Super Ghouls & Ghosts. Ninja Gaiden i managed get pass more levels then this game. But like i said Super Ghouls & Ghosts is the hardest game on VC.

I hope you Americans get this soon. This is a really cool game although be warned this is really difficult just like R-Type. Still listening to the music makes it worthwhile.
