Yesterday we revealed that the first main addition to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - the Ultra Challenge Pack DLC - had gone live, allowing season pass buyers to get their hands on some lovely new content. Today, Ubisoft has released a trailer for the package, giving us a quick look at these new features.
The trailer shows off its new co-op campaign (which consists of five exclusive new maps), and a glimpse of the eight 'Ultra Hard Challenges' that have made their way to the Secret Chapters of each world. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.
These new modes look as beautiful and fun as ever and, if you have bought (or now buy) the season pass, they should be available for you to play when you next update the game.
Have you decided to grab yourself the season pass for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle?

I'll check it out later when I get a chance. I got the season pass, but I need to finish the other challenges first.
I will play some of these challenges tonight, already found all the secret areas so good to go!
Had a quick go last night after downloading. Couldn't beat the second new level in world one after three attempts, so I'd say there's definitely enough difficulty there.
I got into this game too late. I'm loving it, but I worry if I don't finish it soon, it'll get buried under the slew of incoming titles this holiday season. I'm desperately trying to get through it this week before Fire Emblem Warriors comes out. Given my limited time, I'll probably have to pass on the DLC.
Is it possible to get any of the dlc separately? I'm not really interested in these challenges but would be up for the additional story content to come.
Ubisoft is so annoying with their videos. Usually can't watch em here in the states
Omg....
Those Challenge Packs....
@msm2000 you can buy it separately. Ultra challenge pack is £5.80
Was loving the new challenges last night. Got through half of them pretty well and when I finally figured out a strategy for the fifth one my left joy-con finally just died. So a bit of a rain delay as I wait for a repair. Ugh.
@msm2000 it seems so. The Challenge dlc is listed separately for $6.99 in the US eshop so it appears you can piece it out on its own.
@MariOnline Thanks for that. I thought this was one of those where you had to get the season pass.
Rabbid Luigi number 1.
@thesilverbrick A bit off topic, but that's why DLC can be good. Spread out the value to those who don't have time to play and ask the people who are getting the most out of the game to pay more. I always think of the stats about how many people even complete games. No wonder studios and publishers, faced with millions of dollars spent on expansive content only a smaller percentage would see, are motivated to create DLC.
If you never get to the DLC content, you'll never have to pay for it. While pre-DLC days, everyone, even those who only experienced a small percentage of the game, paid the same high price.
@thesilverbrick Oh, and about getting to it late. Ours is destined for Xmas wrapping! Our family is so busy, that none of us have time, anyway. We snuck in a couple play sessions on SNES classic, lately, played part of Metroid Samus Returns. Splatoon gets a play or two now and then. The idea of completing anything is foreign, right now.
Can't watch the video in US... come on Ubisoft...
Ive downloaded this update a dozen times deleted redownloaded i cant access any of the new content any ideas????
@Joshflowers your left joy-con just died? What a coincidence, mine just died too :/ the analog stick on my left joy-con stopped working.

For those unable to access the video in the states, I'm laughing. Now you know the frustration of so much of the rest of the world 😂
I'm getting tired of hearing the "Mariooooo!" from Galaxy.
Looks nice but still got to buy the game. Will likely do so around the holiday season
@aaronsullivan I'm with you there. I'm all for DLC, especially if it's priced fairly and legitimately developed post-launch. It can give new life to a tired old game and essentially give me what amounts to a small sequel at a fraction of the cost. I'll likely pick up this DLC someday in the future, when (or if) killer Switch releases become less frequent and I've got time on my hands to play it.
