Re: Best Pokémon Spin-Off Games Of All Time

I've been really enjoying Pokémon Friends since its release. And, the puzzles have gotten quite tricky at the higher levels. For me, the game should be much higher on this list and I'm hoping for some more DLC packs!

(I do wonder if the NL reviewer played long enough to experience how much fun the puzzles become.)

Re: Review: Mario Party: Star Rush (3DS)

Just took this game on a weekend trip to a cabin. It ended up being the game we played most. Mario Shuffle was more of a highlight than expected. There's just something so rewarding with getting your three characters to the other side first. Also, Balloon Bash, Toad Scramble, and Coinathlon are a blast! I've been playing the Mario Party games since they came out, with number 3 being my favorite. The last couple games have not been fun (I'm looking at you 9 & 10), but this one is a very solid entry. I can see my fiance and I playing this as much as Mario Kart 7. Good job, Nintendo!! This game is a winner!

I don't think too much of the gameplay should change or be updated. I loved the original for its simplicity. It was just so fun to try to trigger the environment to get the pokemon to come out and then snap that perfect photo. I could see the gamepad being used well though. It could act as the camera. Oh man that game would be brilliant on the Wii U!! Make it happen Nintendo!! Please.

Thanks SEGA!! I was just playing this game last night and wondering why I wasn't getting a free life when I hit 100 Rings.

And, I've got to agree with others on here, this game is fantastic. I've played Sonic games since the genesis days and this is easily one of my favorites now.

Re: Guide: Using Miiverse And The Nintendo Network ID On Your 3DS

photofool83

Well, I made the mistake of deciding to create a different Nintendo ID for my 3DS than the one I use for my Wii U. But upon booting up the eShop, I found out that only one Nintendo ID is allowed per Club Nintendo account. I called customer support to find out that the only way to switch my 3DS's ID to my Wii U ID would be to format my 3DS and lose everything. So, in the end the only option I had was to create a second Club Nintendo account, a second email address and put my name in differently at Club Nintendo. This is the first time I have really been discouraged by Nintendo's services. This is very frustrating. Now I have to manage all these different accounts. Grrr. I still love you, Nintendo, but grrr.

Re: DuckTales: Remastered Update to Target Leaderboard Issues on Wii U

The only glitch that has happened to me, was when I tried to exit Transylvania from the pause menu. The game went to a black screen with no sound and I wasn't able to do anything. I ended up having to unplug the Wii U. But that only happened once. I have now played through the entire game and I'm on the last level and can happily say that nothing else has glitched. I can also say that having loved the original game as a kid, I had very high expectations of this game, and Wayforward has done an absolutely wonderful job of remastering it. I would even say that it is even better than the original. Thank you so much Capcom, Disney, and Wayforward for making this remaster happen!!

Re: Review: The Smurfs 2 (Wii U)

@Jukilum Have you played the game? A better question, has anyone that has commented actually played the game? Or is everyone going off of one review? The game is obviously not targeted to "gamers", it is targeted to families and children. The game is very good for what it is intended to be. So yes, again, I would give it a 6. A slightly-above average game for families.

I rented the Wii version for my niece (3 yrs) and nephew (6 yrs). We actually had a lot of fun playing it. Yes, the levels are not on par with NSMB or DKCR but it wasn't terrible. Honestly, a score of 4 seems a little harsh. I'd probably give it 6 out of 10.
