VOEZ has proved quite a sleeper hit - especially here at Nintendo Life where it got an 8/10 in our review and received a recommendation in our Switch Year One Talking Point last weekend - so it's no surprise to hear it's getting a retail edition later this year.
PM Studios and acttil have confirmed the boxed version is due to arrive this summer with a price tag of $39.99 attached. The physical edition will includ all the updates that have been rolled out for the eShop version thus far, so you can be sure you're getting the most up-to-date incarnation when you pick one up.
Are you fan of VOEZ already? Have you been holding off for a nice edition to add to your shelves? Let us know in the comments below...

Great game. First thing I played when I needed a break from Breath of the Wild and I got pretty addicted to it and stuck in over 50 hours.
Retail version already in existence in some countries... lucky I didn't pick much of the eShop stuff early given that quite a lot of it is appearing in physical now..
Slightly pricey but definitely worth the buy.
I'll stick with my digital copy
Still addicted. And so much content!!!! It will take you forever to finish all the songs.
Easily worth that price. A ridiculous amount of content.
one of the best rhythm game ever
I didn't think this was going to get a physical release, otherwise I would have certainly waited! Damnit, this makes me wish there was a way to get money back for the digital version if you wanted to get the physical release....
That's nice.
Would be cool if we also get a Retail Version of Deemo
Yeeessss, ive been wanting this but I really wanted a physical copy.
Good thing I didn't buy this one yet. Need that physical!
Whoops, I already got a Japanese copy.
Bought digital on release, but will buy physical when it arrives. Like having games like this available in cartridge form for when I upgrade my console and pass the old one to the kids.
