Just because it was traded for a half a million dollar card does NOT mean the cartridge is worth that much money. Heritage auctions would love to make us think it is, but if you want an example of them inflating speculative value look no further than the Nintendo Playstation auction that ended at less than half of the projected sale price.

It should be noted that this game is essentially the blueprint for what would become chibi robo later on. Yes it influenced toby fox, but the structure of this game is almost exactly that of chibi robo.

I hope people give vs. excite bike some due respect here, vastly improves on an already fun game

I would be all over this, and the mega man releases, if they weren't so damn expensive. I thought they learned their lesson after the mega man releases have still not sold out (Last time I checked), but apparently not. Throwing in retro goodies doesn't justify the price either.

This cartoon may be a 90's cash in, but its a damn good cash in. Mega Man meeting X is something that we will likely never see again after all.

@UnbreakableAlex In addition to what @link3710 said, it is a REALLY popular arcade title in japan. There's usually more than one machine in every arcade and a lot of people prefer it to be an arcade experience because they just love arcades (And rhythm games) that much more than the rest of the world. Not to mention that the drum in the arcade is wayyyyy bigger.

Calling a three headed physical switch release announcement for Minit, The Messenger, and Downwell, all on one cart. They've of course already announced that these games will be physical, but how else are you going to sell minit and downwell on their own when they cost next to nothing on the e-shop already? Maybe Minit and downwell on one cart and a standalone release for The Messenger. I'll buy all of them anyway they sell them, but tell us the details already!

@Anti-Matter God I hope not. I tried so hard to like that game and found myself just wanting to play the original over and over again.

@MysticGengar Because in most cases arcade versions of games (especially from the NES era) were much, much better than console counterparts. Ikari Warriors is definitely the one that sticks out most. But graphics, sound, and features not included in console releases is why they pump out these arcade versions.

Its time for all you haters to realize that Links Awakening is in fact THE BEST top down Zelda game. Except for maybe Link Between Worlds, but hopefully this re-release gets Links Awakening out of the shadow of Link to the Past.....which they'll probably re-make next year.

Can I just get Nintendo to allow me to remap the buttons? Playing platformers on this thing is a joke when they should be freaking excellent. The Y button needs to be a usable button, especially for handheld mode.

Thank god they put all of this back on. All the capcom stuff was unceremoniously deleted from Spotify months ago. Glad to see its back with a vengeance.

Tsuppari Oozumou is the freaking best game that nobody outside of Japan realizes that they actually NEED. I got so into it when I first started playing that I started watching Sumo whenever its actually available on TV or even online. This and Joy Mech Fight alone are totally worth setting up a Japanese account.

@ultraraichu glad someone else looked at the sold listings. I saw some that offered "Local Pickup".......not predatory at all. Or maybe they just want to laugh in your face after purchasing something for triple the price.

Cinemassacre just did a video where they progress in Super Mario Bros by only jumping backwards, no forward movement allowed. Pretty entertaining.
