Launching later this week on Nintendo Switch is Golf Zero, a platformer that serves as a hybrid of golf mechanics and "crazy" physics.
The game has you taking on the role of a little yellow bean thing with legs (well, do you know what to call it?) as you make your way through a number of platforming challenges. Things start out simple enough on a nice, grassy green, but you'll soon be bouncing around in more dangerous settings.
As things progress, you'll find yourself jumping, sprinting and sliding your way past hazards like boulders, saw blades and bullets - so this isn't quite your typical PGA Tour experience. Here's a short feature list:
Features:
- 40 levels of golf platforming madness
- Competitive speed run mode
- Endearing pixel art
It's launching on Switch on 11th September (so that's this Friday), and while we don't have a price for it just yet, the game has reviewed well with players on mobile platforms.
What do you think? Will you give it a go if the price is right? Aim for a hole in one in the comments below.

I remember playing this on my phone, it was okay.
Yeah looks quite cute, but it’s nearly Mario time xxx
Super meat boy mixed with a game of golf? Sold
40 levels is not very much on a game where the levels blow by in about 5 seconds. I played this on my phone some today and while it would be better with switch controls it's a small game.
I adored Golf Zero on mobile a couple years back. Really hoping it translates well onto Switch.
Looks a bit like Dizzy.
Forty levels might not sound much, but Golf Zero gets properly hard in later stages. Decent game, but fell off it after a while.
Saw it on the eShop, noticed "Ratalaika Games", instantly knew to avoid it.
