Great article! I’ve always admired the studio and their games from afar, but have never taken the plunge and played one for myself. I really want to get into the Xenoblade series. I might begin with 3 and work my way backwards.

This genuinely looks like a great Pokémon game. The only thing I don’t like is the diamond pokemon thing, but everything else I’m very much excited for. The NPCs look to be the best in a while.

Animal Crossing, Hades, and A Short Hike. I Am Dead I just purchased, and am looking forward to getting into that. I'll catch up on Paper Mario and Xenoblade eventually. A solid year all around!

@Clyde_Radcliffe I couldn't agree more lol. I've always wanted to own more than one console, and this generation I was finally able to. It's been fun, but I definitely can't keep up with all the consoles have to offer, whether it's time or money. Whenever I upgrade to the next generation I'll only be getting one.

This is really impressive, and I can't say I'm surprised. It's an amazing console and appeals to people of all ages. It's becoming one of my favorites ever.

Are the problems with Ni No Kuni fixed? I had read around launch there were some bugs that caused crashing and losing save data.

@MisterWhen That was a looong time ago under much different leadership. Clearly Rare, and the other first party studios Microsoft acquired, are all in a much better place now.

This was the first generation I didn't like immediately, but after playing them, and the sequels, they became one of my favorites. I really wish I still had my copies. I have always wanted to go back and play through all the DS Pokemon games.

I love this more than the mainline series, so really excited about this!

This is the only one in the collection I haven't played, so I'm really looking forward to getting into it. I was hoping for a Sunshine remaster, but this will have to do!

@Panopticon I would say the game playing out a very specific event that is a huge part of the Breath of the Wild lore confirms this will be a canon game.

@kingeo What makes you think this mean no Wind Waker? If there will be a Wind Waker port, it will most likely come next year for Zelda's 35th anniversary.

This is a really cool surprise. Never played a Warriors game, but a Breath of the Wild prequel ..I mean c'mon I'm all in!

My favorite generation has always been Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 news would be cool, but I also am not crazy about what that game has turned into.

@tanaka2687 yeah that's probably the most interesting game they have made in years. Even though it looks like a carbon copy of Breath of the Wild lol which says a lot about how I view their games.

I actually think this looks fun. I'll definitely give this a try. I've played this style of game before, and had a decent time. I can totally understand the frustration with the direction the series is taking lately. With all the mobile games, and the mixed reception to Sword/Shield..which I actually really liked. Hopefully next major game they will have a Diamond and Pearl Remake, or a more open world type of game to get a lot of people back on board with the series.

Who would have thought that making games about one of the most popular series of all time would be a good idea! Finally, EA realizes they were wasting their deal with the Star Wars IP.

@Heavyarms55 I agree with you completely! I am loving my time with Pokemon Sword. As someone who didn't really like Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield is a nice return to form.

My favourite Mario games of all time. They are both masterpieces, and among the best games I've ever played. I would love nothing more than to play them again on the switch without the motion controls.

I like to play online, but I'll renew it when their online service is as good as Xbox 360, or when their Virtual console offerings are half as good as it was on the Wii.

I picked up the Digimon Cyber Sleuth on switch recently when they were on sale, and am having a great time with it so far. I have never played a Digimon game before, despite being a fan of it growing up. Beyond that, maybe I'll finally get Animal Crossing?

Started a new game of Alpha Sapphire recently. Still my favorite generation. I haven't really played much of the last few Pokemon games, maybe i'll get into some of those soon..

Continuing the adventure in Pokemon Sword. Have three badges now, and am really loving it so far. Will also probably pick up Stardew Valley on sale, and Box Boy on 3DS.

This really looks fantastic. 30 dollars for two great looking expansions, and people are complaining they should be free?
All of this new content looks really great, and will keep me playing this game for a long long time.
