@Cathalm they are two separate things dont pretend one doesnt influence the other. We certanly are living in stupid times but the tariffs, the rising cost of development are all excuses. Microsoft reported Record breaking profits just two days ago. and now this? And Nintendo announce Mario kart at 80$ before they knew about the tariffs. this is a trend someone had to start for the rest to follow. If economy was that bad Microsoft wont be getting earnings, and nintendo wont be building theme parks and producing movies. This are Multi billion dollar companies trying to squeeze every penny out of your pocket.

What a ***** week this is. First donkey kong was redesigned to this new abomination, and now my second favorite video game company increase prices following the example of my favorite one. this sucks. They priced me out of this hobby I love. Every video game company is completely anti consumer now. Remember kids, companies are not your friends. Miyamoto and Spencer will never care about you. Im out.

I hope it comes with Hall effect joysticks. I had drift in all my 4 joy cons and I had to repar them myself. dont get me wrong, I enjoy reparing stuff, but still.... would be nice to have good quality sticks from day 1

I never payed for NSO and I never will. i think is a horrible service. can I play Tetris99 online right now ? Yes or no ? if yes, then is free. but if the answer is no... if i have to pay for a subcription to start playing the game right now, then is not free at all.
i think you need to remember what free to play means.

@thinkhector If you need to pay for a subscription service, they are not free. Every other game on the list you can download and play without NSO. so.... no NSO payment = no tetris 99= Not free.

I believe in the Switch power, but i have my doubt on this one. the PS4, Xbox and even PS4 Pro versions where not running that good. even the Steam version doesnt. the best way to play this game is on XOX and XSX. lets hope switch version is well optimized but t would be shame if a fast paced game like this one its locked on 30fps like most probably will.

I have this and second game on my xbox physical collection. I dont need this switch release.

Game is not even out and there are 4 DLC packs already. I hate when companies do this. Is a very Ubisoft thing to do. I can't play games like this.

D-pad. Sad pro controller d-pad is useless. getting wrong inputs 90% of the time.
Best d-pad is 8bitdo snes controller.

ive been Xbox fan alongside Nintendo for years. i love my Series X same as i love my Switch. BUT.... this is BS. this is just an attempt to convince naive people to subscribe to gamepass. simple as that.
Even tough i have Series X i am not gamepass subscriber. I like to own my games. still buying physical any time i can.

XBOX is the best service by far. not just game pass but the entire online infrastructure. online play, xbox app, free cloud game saves for every xbox user. automatic upload of screenshots and videos, fastest online store, best backwards compatibility with many old games resolution or frame rate improvements, best game preservation , Smart delivery.

learn a little?? i love you Nintendo, but your online SUCKS. ive been a Nintendo fan since the 90's. but now i am also a Xbox fan thanks to the series x. its an amazing piece of hardware and their onlice services is amazing. free cloud saves, microsoft store is super fastx Xbox app is very very good. games have dedicated servers and dont rely on P2P like Nintendo, and Game pass is an amazing service in comparisson to NSO. I was a Nintendo fanboy for decades but now i am just a fan. I am subscribed to gamepass but not no NSO.

Not to mention that on the microsoft store you can still buy some original Xbox, xbox 360 games which are compatible with the series X. I think Xbox is more commited to game preservation than Nintendo by far. your digital game library from previous generatios is still there for you to download on new hardware and in many cases, improved. I definitely trust XBox more than Ninteno when is about owning digital only games. i know they will be there on my account for decades to come, or probably forever. Nintendo on the other hand.... closed wii shop and games are gone. is closing 3ds and wiiu and games wil be gone forever. and you cant have them at all in current hardware. what's the guarantee the same wont happen again and next generation your "Switch2" account will be sepparate from the original switch just like wiiu and 3ds are from the switch, and you will have to start paying again for all the games you already bought ? Nintendo has to improve in absolutely everytng online related.

i guess this days you can call masterpiece to anything. words keep losing their meaning every day more and more. this movie is definitely not a masterpiece by any means.

@BAN Some times i cant even log in once per week. im a seafarer. internet is a luxury for most of us. I know.... is a very specific case. but still.

@Matty1988 I totally agree on not having to pay for the same games over and over again. But a very good alternative would be once and for all to link your nintendo ID to all your purchase history forever. like XBOX does. just one ID and all your games and saves are there forever. no matter which console is.

@Matty1988 for some people is not that simple. not everyone can be constantly online for this kind of model. some people need to fully own the games to be able to play them.

Can't find Race the Sun or Tengami on the N.A. eShop. Seems where delisted. Bad luck for me.

Nintendo needs to learn a lot from Microsoft on this aspect. I recently got a SeriesX and the xbox app si really good on this. when you take a screenshot or video capture of your game, it gets automatically uploaded to your xbox profle and you have access on your phone in seconds. Nintendo should have something similar. plus..... free cloud data saves like xbox have.

@FroZtedFlakerZz People come and yell at me all the time in the place i work, i am a ship crew member. And life on board is rough. Since when critique it means i am yelling? or attacking? i am not. i think critique is one of the fundamental freedoms in a healthy society. withouth the posibility to critique we would be living in a totalitarian state. and withouth the ability to receive criticism and improve ourselves we would not have personal growth. But anyway to the subject... this is NOT an emulation or mods news website. i get it. People love Zelda. we all do. but constant weekly news about moding the original game should be on emulation or rom forums. not on an "official" nintendo news website. News here shold focus on things we all can enjoy in our nintendo consoles withouth any modification. Official releases. Official Information. I am not against emulation but if i want to be informed about the subject, ill go on other sites or Discord. Is very weird read stuff like this here. seems completely out of place. Simple as that.

Sometimes I dont get this site and this kind of news. Why they keep talking about mods, emulation of nintendo games when you clearly ned to hack your console or to have a pirated ROM to do all of this? are they encouraging us to do so? seems like.

@Northwind as someone who truly loves shoot em ups, what you said has no sense. Maybe you dont know how to choose your games. dont blame over representation. and this one is a bullet hell type. we have few of those but not many.

Whats wrong with most of you people? i had my switch for 4 years. play almost every day. moslty hand held. I travel a lot for work. im a seafarer. and i carry the switch with me every time i go. and my switch is perfectly fine. the only probles i had where with this stupid joy-cons. probles i had to fix myself buying spare parts. but beside that, everything else works fine.

Mudrunner is the best vehicle game on the switch. Period. graphics, and physycs area absolutely amazing. Hopefully this one will be even better. This is a must for me.

Love Pikmin series. Play them all. but this is a no double dip for me. finished the game twice in WiiU. with all fruits and good ending. thats enough. I have many other games to play. and I still don't agree charging 60 dollars for a 2013 game. specially in a pandemic year, where I have to be very selective with my money.

theory: Nintendo is saving Mario galaxy 2 for Mario 3d All stars 2. it will also include Mario 3d World and Odyssey. Will be released for the 50th Mario anniversary in 2035

My theory: Collection cost 60$, this means we are paying 20$ each game. Galaxy 2 is not included for this price or nintendo will see it like giving it away for free. If it was included they will like to charge 80$ for the collection and fans will not be happy with this price. it will come up later digitally only for 20$.

I was hoping for a Mario 64 and Sunshine remake with Odyssey engine. But still im happy with the announcement.

@TG16_IS_BAE Maybe is just our lifestyle on board. but don't get me wrong, we don't bully or harass. Never!! thats zero tolerance between us. but jokes are fine. there is a huge difference. Life on a ship make you go trough so many things, people become stronger mentally. Thats why jokes are fine. it build your character. make seafarers closer to each other and that is essential for life on board. the same people make jokes on you, can save your life any day. the same people joy make fun of, you will do anything to save in an emergency. Having said that...and going back into topic, I want to play Raji. Was one of the best announcements from the direct. And actually the game being short is a plus for me.

The only time I was close enough of getting sick was while going to Antarctica. after leaving Cape Horn in Chile, going south though Drake Passage, you have to go trough almost 4 days of continuous heavy movement. believe me, that will Man up anyone.

Actually, writing this comment from a ship somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. and there are people who get easily dizzy while at sea. We called them babies. people around here will die laughing hearing someone get dizzy playing video games. when we make fun of sea sick people, there is nothing insensitive about that. they have to man up get a pair of sea legs and move on with life.

@delt75 I would like to know as well. Believe me, game pad on Wii U was perfect for this game. some people prefer wii remote, but for me, using the stylus and game pad screen to trow pikmin and gather them around was a perfect experience. its one of the best examples of WiiU game pad done right. also having the map all the time and see where is everybody without having to pause the game. can't imagine playing it on switch after that. also, im not sure if they will change campaign mode. it says full campaign can be co-op. but you re all alone at the beginning of the game. you only rescue another character one or two days after. we'll have to wait and see.
