It's time to pork the plank, as My Friend Peppa Pig now has pirate-themed DLC. "The Pirate Adventures" will give players access to 30 new activities, and new areas, too:
- Captain Hog’s Hideout
- Belinda Bear’s House
- Mollie Mole’s House
- Treasure Island
- Danny Dog’s Birthday Party
Will Treasure Island be anything like the Rober Louis Stevenson novel? Will Peppa and pals receive the Black Spot? Has Daddy Pig been a mutineer-in-the-making all along? Find out in The Pirate Adventures!
The DLC will cost $4.99, and the base game costs $39.99. Yarrr.

Finally, DLC worth buying.
Honestly, as a game for preschoolers, it's pretty darn good for what it is. Looks just like the show. Granted, my three-year-old nephew only played it twice and instead became obsessed with Breath of the Wild. He knows how to climb, glide, go into his inventory and equip different armor/weapons, hold ingredients and cook recipes...I even taught him how to parry guardians! He did it on his FIRST TRY!! He's a prodigy child...or a freakin' wizard.
But yeah anyways, Peppa Pig.
2022 really will be the best year in gaming
Does this mean she’s a pork pie-rate?
Someone’s gotta tell altrive
Peppa has had enough of retro game prices, and taken matters into her own hands.
If this was part of the expansion pass I finally would have subscribed.
Now DLC is hitting preschool games.
That's... Concerning.
@OnlyItsMeReid Nah he can rest until Pikmin 4 comes out
How will preschoolers know what DLC is, how it works, or even know it exists? Popups in the new update?
The World of Peppa is $22 a year and has more content (updates every two weeks) with the original character and narrator voices. Plus your kid won't be occupying your Switch. There's really no reason to get this game.
THERES PEPPA PIG DLC NOW?!?
My daughters are gonna love this!
@PBandSmelly
So you think the preschoolers buy their own games?
peppa pig has a peppa posse
In-app purchases are bad enough in mobile/tablet games targeted to children.
They should at least keep it the hell out of full-priced retail console games.
Peppa: I'm Peppa Pig (oinks)
Peppa: And this is my little brother D.
D: (ka-ching X2)
Peppa: This is Mummy L.
Mummy L: (ka-chings loud)
Peppa: This is Daddy C.
Daddy C: (ka-chings very loud).
My daughter loves this, it's been a good gateway to gaming (in moderation of course)
Despite being the age where many of my peers are having children, I have no family of my own. As such, I have no stake in this particular content 😢🎻
Noone going to rant about Nintendolife promoting piracy?
Will we ever get a review of this game? Ever since my 4-year-old figured out how to use the YouTube on our "smart" TV, I've found that Peppa Pig is like 800 times better than the crap he chooses. Recently he's started demanding that I let him playing games, and other than Untitled Goose Game and Pikuniku, I don't really have anything at his level. I'd love to at least try this game, but the price is just a little scary.
honestly still cannot believe this game is developed by the Curse of the Sea Rats devs. work-for-hire is wild, y'all.
@PBandSmelly Hopefully the same way they're able to even access the game itself; the parents.
