1) Cross-platform purchases (ie, buy the game, but get it on both 3DS and WiiU)
2) In relation to the above, credit for any games you have on both systems.
3) Folders on the home screen (like the 3DS allows you to create)
4) Credit for any games that are lost when merging two eShop accounts that have purchased the same game (currently the one copy of the game just disappears).
Bonus) An awesome capability would be the ability to let others "borrow" your games. For 24 hours you can let someone play the same game you own given the condition that you can't play it during that same time period. It'd be a great way to let people try something new that doesn't necessarily have a demo available. This would only apply to digital content, of course.
@smikey Nintendo is a struggling company? You must read a different news site than I do, because last I checked they have enough cash in bank to survive a few years of failures.
Seems a little late in the development cycle to still be making those kinds of choices....I hope they don't rush this game, it sounds awesome, but I don't see how they would have time to make that much of an open-world design in less than 2 years.
@Philip_J_Reed - Agreed, it's a shame the ZX series went largely unnoticed, the gameplay in those was amazing, I think compared to the X-series and even the Zero series, they were far superior. But the Zero serious were probably my second favorite.
@A1234 I agree. I thought it was shady that the label was torn off anyway. I wouldn't think it wouldn't be super difficult to make a counterfeit cartridge given the ROM is freely available. But when he said something about not offering it to the next buyer, that makes me wonder even more.
@JaxonH Man, you ain't kidding! If you really take the time to read the Word, that stuff is deep. We can glaze over things and miss the big picture, like not realize that in two chapters you just read 40 years of someone's life. And to know those people were just like anyone else, they just let God use them...and still will today.
@Damo @Yorumi Given your explanation, then I did come to the wrong conclusion. The only reason is, that statement parallels one of the most common insults slung at Christians which is that they are 'stuck in the past', 'following an oudated book', etc. Forgive me for taking it that way, but given that it's a fairly common slur, I don't think it was as much of a stretch as it's being made out to be. But I don't think anyone is arguing that the games this company makes are garbage.
@Damo "Wisdom Tree seems to be stuck in the past in more ways than one." What are the other ways it's stuck in the past other than re-releasing an old game?
@DerrickC Naw, I don't think I've ever played one I considered a good game. The thing is, they could be really clever. Unlike the normal hack and slash where you rely entirely on your own experience and resources, at some points in the game you should come to an enemy that is absolutely impossible to beat, and you suddenly realize it's because you forgot to seek God before the battle. It'd take a lot of planning out and a lot of innovative ideas, but I think there's enough source material there to come up with some pretty epic games. But like I said, you still need some talented developers to make it happen. And most of those developers are only looking to work for money and not for the Master.
@Prof_Elvin_Gadd I don't think anyone was defending the company, but that's pretty funny. It wouldn't be the first time someone tried to do something shady in the name of religion.
@DerrickC I know I'd like to see some company step up and develop some quality Kingdom-based games. On a random note, I recently finished Earthbound for the first time....is it just me, or did that final battle have a crazy number of spiritual parallels? It was pretty epic.
@Yorumi lol, well, they do set themselves up as a lightning rod, though the comments in the article were reaching deeper than the company itself. But I agree, there's room for some great Kingdom-centered games on the market. It's just a matter of talented people willing to come together for the sake of Christ and not profit, because the odds are, they are not going to sell like Call of Duty no matter how good they are (though who am I to limit God?).
@Capt_N I think it's the tone of the article more than the report itself. I find it interesting that they are reprinting it (though am in no way interested in the game itself), so that part was informative. But I felt the undertone of the article was unnecessary.
So Nintendo Life is trolling now? Seriously, what is the point of this article other than to throw some underhanded jokes at Christianity and this company (referring to this line - "Wisdom Tree seems to be stuck in the past in more ways than one.")?
I'm surprised to see this reported on here too. I take advantage of the "HomePass" due to the fact that it's not really feasible to make multiple trips to McDonald's or the AT&T store (only two places in my town) to get the hits I need to do anything in my games. But I feel it falls in a grey area as I'm sure the point of partnering with those places was increased traffic to their establishments.
Wow, yea, I was wondering when this was going to be released. I had heard the developer had delayed the release for some reason (I think Inafune-san had said that).
@wombatkidd Sorry, did I ever make a claim that I had total knowledge of the workings of SpotPass? I don't believe I ever made that claim, in fact I believe I established that I didn't. What @BrightBeing said and what @BrightBeing meant are two totally different things. It would be obvious to someone who has knowledge of that fact, not at all obvious to someone who doesn't. I can see that this conversation is very important to you though, so I will concede and allow you have the victory. You Win!!
@wombatkidd It appears, from what you wrote, that you didn't read both of the posts I was responding to. The response you are referring to was to someone who was saying I should turn off SpotPass entirely (not just software updates, which I was unaware was a separate setting until @AVahne posted a helpful response). Obviously that (turning off SpotPass altogether) is a sledgehammer approach to the problem, hence my response. So yes, what you have stated is absolutely true and makes perfect sense. However, the sarcastic joke is lost since that's not what I was saying at all and you really just look silly now. But good try.
@AVahne Okay, I didn't realize they segmented out the updates you receive on SpotPass, that's different then. Though I do still think that's a really large update to push.
@BrightBeing That's not really a feasible solution, now is it? That's like saying someone should disable their email because they don't like SPAM or cut off their cable service because they don't like adverts.
Yea, I'm not so sure I'm happy with a 1.3GB download dropping on my system. I think it should be an option to download in the eshop and not like a system update.
Honestly, most people know Nintendo games are quality. It's almost unfair to other game companies, so it's good for others to get their time in the spotlight.
@Nautical-Rudie I assume they're saying there's more DLC in the box because the box has a DLC advert on the front of it. So if Game is sending out some DLC apart from that, it seems to imply that there's another DLC to be had.
Man, I'm disappointed to hear there's not really any extra Gamepad features, the Wii U really could add a lot to this game. If that's the case, I would most likely end up getting the PS4 version to be real and get the better graphics. I want to show the WiiU version love but it seems like a downgrade to me. The games that will shine on the Wii U will be games designed FOR the Wii U, not ported to it.
Since it's not a physical release, I'll probably be holding off on this for a while, probably until there's a discount. But definitely glad and excited this game was brought to the US.
Awesome, glad I waited to get it now! Glad to see another game offering a retail option for a slightly higher premium. I think it sends a good message that yes, there are people who still want physical copies. If money savings is the reason for digital only, follow this trend and add a little bit into the price!
@Bulby That's what I was thinking. So basically they're taking other fan generated content (were any of these originally for sale or were they all free?), re-bundling it, reselling it and making money off of it. Happy Anniversary, Megaman, we're milking your fans!
@KeithTheGeek I don't believe he's making this game so close to Megaman to be rubbing it in Capcom's face or anything, I believe he's doing this because he had been wanting to make a game like this one using Megaman but Capcom never would give him the greenlight.

Re: Capcom Could Be Up For Sale After Shareholders Reject Anti-Takeover Plan
@smikey I agree with that, I don't think it'd make sense for Nintendo to buy out Capcom when they could just scoop up the IP's for those items.

1600 coins seemed way too high for me....When you consider you earn roughly 1 coin per dollar spent, that's about $1600 in games to get it.

1500 coins? That's a ton of coins.....this should end up being rare.
