Been waiting for this and picked up 1st thing - on ps5!! It has a VR mode and was a couple quid cheaper than switch. I’ll get switch version in a sale👍

Gameboy to gameboy colour, massive difference. There was specific colour games for the machine & it also added colour to existing titles. And we got a smaller gameboy pocket before that, with a screen we could actually see.

Gameboy advance to gameboy micro, HUGE difference. Smaller form factor & a really great screen. Interchangable faceplates too. Oh and lets not forget the SP version BEFORE the micro which added a sidelit screen & clamshell design.

So yeah, this is still the laziest minimal ‘sidegrade’(as i wouldnt call it an upgrade) ever. Also, realise that the screens for the launch switch consoles are probably too old and costly for nintendo to source now, and that these 7” oleds are entry level.

As for ‘my gen’……… dont judge a book by its cover😉
