I am glad they are giving the option for players who want the game to run more efficiently. I'll be picking up the eShop version so should have the game run quicker from the get go.
Lego don't even have the licence to make new The Hobbit lego sets and recalled all that were unsold in stores so it's extremely unlikely any continuation of The Hobbit lego story will happen.
I've never played this game before and look forward to playing it. (and I hope that there is a Zelda sale on the eShop so I can pick up OoT digitally to replace my physical copy)
Now that Nintendo have proved it can work I hope they release an update for the 3DS/new 3DS which makes it work as an extra Wii U controller in much the same way it works in Smash Bros.
I didn't receive a card in the box so I can't register my new 3DS with Club Nintendo. did anyone receive a card or know how I can register my new hardware without one?
I've bought codes to download games from nintendo's website in europe early last year I just had to search for 'digital' and they had a fantastic selection of nintendo published 3ds and wii u games. is this only a new thing in america?
this is the break down of costs at the bottom of the page. does this mean that the normal new 3ds will cost £155.99?
New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition Bundle system in White - Value of £155.99 An exclusive Ambassador Edition Cover Plate (Back) An exclusive Ambassador Edition Cover Plate (Front) - Value of £7.67 New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition Bundle stylus 4 GB microSDHC memory card A set of AR Cards A Quick-Start Guide An Operations Manual A set of front and back Super Smash Bros. cover plates - Value of £7.67 A charging cradle for the console in White - Value of £7.67
from what I have gathered it all depends if you have turned on receiving promotional emails from nintendo in your account. I've it set so I receive everything and I got the smash bros demo code and now this
I'd love if Nintendo updated StreetPass Mii Plaza to incorporate Amiibo compatibility. it'd be fantastic being able to team up with amiibo fighters with custom skills in streetpass quest or any of the other DLC titles
I'm so glad that any games which support the Circle Pad Pro will be able to use the new buttons straight away. It'll be great to play Resident Evil Revelations and Monster Hunter 3 without the need to carry extra hardware about.
I was all set for kickstarting this but checked wikipedia and discovered there were "784 official releases, 251 were exclusive to North America and 63 to Europe" this book only has 204 pages so either there is gonna be lots of thumbnail images or quite a few games won't be included.
I still want to buy Watch Dogs purely to see how they have spent the extra time implementing the gamepad and hopefully it'll be some sort of GOTY edition with all the DLC included as well. fingers crossed.
I really hope the faster processor makes it possible for games to be custom written for the new 3DS with improved graphics and ai and so on but still have the ability to run on the old 3DS much like pc games make use of better systems and scale them selves accordingly. also I'm hoping a n3DS version of Minecraft won't be too far away now since the extra processing power makes it feasible.
@gatorboi352 I don't mind stop gap consoles like this. they are basically gonna be a watered down version of what we can expect next. I loved my DSi at the time and bought lots of eShop games which were easily transferred over to the 3DS which were in turn easily transferred over to a 3DSXL. People usually upgrade their phones every couple of years and if you don't someone doesn't want to upgrade there is nothing forcing them to and since the new 3DS is backwards compatible they won't loose any of their games if they do.
It's been 3.5 years since the original 3DS came out, I think it is well due a minor update. I don't understand why people are surprised about this since they released the DSi around 4 years after the DS came out. I will hopefully be at the midnight launch of the new 3DS and buying the digital edition of Xemoblade as soon as I transfer everything across from my 3DSXL
I would absolutely hate if Nintendo brought in a subscription service. the reason I buy Nintendo consoles is the fact that I don't have any extra fees or charges on top of the games I've bought and when I buy a game I want to be able to play that game for however long I wish without having to pay monthly.
how exactly do they work with smash brothers? there is only one NFC reader on the gamepad and most people are gonna be using gamecube controllers so do you pause the game first and each player takes turns using the NFC reader or is there something else I'm missing?
Can't wait to download this. I was fed up with the awkward way previous gen pokemon had to be transferred and this solves all my problems. I just hope Pokemon holding items and ones who have learned TM/HMs can still be transferred.
