The truth is - the last good Star Fox was on the N64 (3DS remake too), the others Star Fox are average, really mediocre, my the hope is that this one gets better.
The demo of this game is so bad, the graphics look like straight up from a bad game of PS1 and the gameplay mechanic rotation with L/R is too much slow, if anyone want a good top down shooter/zombie there's Dead Nation on PS or Crimsonland on PC.
@Quorthon I just applied Virtual boy like a example in the sense of a huge failure, which made they change their position very fast like you said, not a huge impact in their market share.
@Quorthon well, yeah and that's the problem, they don't factor the consumer in the equation, to gain market share and be lucrative they have to invest more and look into the future, that kind of decision just hurt they even more in a growing market and that's why you see here PS4's way more expensive outselling WiiU by a large margin and the same happen in the world.
Nintendo is so niche sometimes that they have to hit a wall like was with the Gamecube to recover with the Wii to simple throw away all over again with the WiiU.
@Quorthon did I said otherwise? Of course Xbox One is produced and manufactured here, what I'm saying is that Nintendo and Sony can do the same thing as Microsoft, they just don't care and "prefer" to say f* to the brazilian consumers.
I have Nintendo and Playstation systems but as a consumer Microsoft have my respect.
@daniruy man, you live in the Brazil of 70's/80's, now the education and opportunities are very good and the free Health care it's average, better than most of countries.
Oh, well, gaming from Brazil (Nintendo representative) was always bad here, not enough support, I always use a foreign account for digital purchases, last game i bought physical was Smash 3DS for like around $65, so very expensive...
And taxes are no excuse for companies do that "theft" with the consumers, a Xbox One I can get officially here for around $450 on the other way a official Wii U I can't get for less than $700 and a PS4 for less than $1200.
No, Nintendo is specialized in games and that should be it, I"m a fan of any product of them but wouldn't buy one, Sony huge failure on this market should be of example.
Street Pass don't work unless you live in a big city, go to a event or live in Japan.
Virtual Console is yet a promise, just GB and NES games don't cut, where are at least the GBA and SNES games?
eShop is tough question, if you don't have any model of 3DS there are truly great games on the eShop to experience, but lately Nintendo has drop the ball with the support of digital games, so I wouldn't recommend it for the future.
Glass-Free 3D is bad on the old models, you can't game without move your head and that bother the experience, hopefully the new 3Ds corrects this "problem".
And for last not less the true motive to have a 3DS, games and games, great first-party quality and this why you have to own one, 2015 doesn't look promise now but I'm sure Nintendo will reveal some game surprises for 3DS in the upcoming months beside the remake of Majora's Mask.

Re: Former Nintendo Indie Champion Discusses the Company's Decision Making and the eShop Gender Divide
@Jahir sure, why not, but I can't see another revolution like Wii was, this market was taken by smarthphones and tablets.
Re: Former Nintendo Indie Champion Discusses the Company's Decision Making and the eShop Gender Divide
@Quorthon Virtual Boy bad, that answer your question?
Just to be clear I don't want this to happen, i just said that it's the only way to make Nintendo do a 180º in their actions.
Re: Former Nintendo Indie Champion Discusses the Company's Decision Making and the eShop Gender Divide
Unfortunately Nintendo is this way and unless something real bad happen, which I don't think will, they aren't going to change.
