Re: The Nintendo Switch Is Headed To Turkey But Will Cost Customers Almost $500

I'm from Turkey. I'll keep using amazon for my nintendo delicacies.....

In other news, this didn't come as a surprise to me. Our economy is not at its brightest times, we have absurdly high taxes for electronics (and everything else), including import fees, The problem is not only high prices, but also decreasing purchasing power. Also a great political instability, so I'm not hopeful about the future.

Well, these combined with the very limited nintendo fanbase here won't bring success in Turkey, I believe.
Well, maybe they would at least bring some amiibo. I'm down for that!

It is sad to see my GBA library was... grabage. Really. We did not have access to maaany games apparently and most of what was around was bootleg copies. So even the bad games I had sucked since they lacked save features etc. meh. I'm sad. Can't wait for GBA VC on Switch now.

Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo

This is amazing. Innovative. Inclusive. Creative.
It will influence young minds in many great ways. It will inspire future software developers. It will inspire future engineers. It will inspire future artists. Not many entertainment products are able to do all of those, and probably none in the land of video games.

And it looks crazy fun! I can't wait to play the piano or build my own steering wheel or BUILD MY OWN FRIGGIN MECH!!! There are endless possibilities. I don't have children. I don't have little children around me, but Nintendo was right by saying "people with hearts of children" . No, this has nothing to do with children.

It is simply fresh and exciting.

Re: Feature: Killer Apps We Really Want To See On Nintendo Switch

I'm not hopeful about a fully functional media player but an app to listen to mp3 would be nice... How else will I listen to my favorite Nintendo soundtracks? My smartphone? Come on!

Oh and Spotify would be nice, too... Ummm... Flipnote or a drawing-animating software?

Come on! These are all the basic stuff we had/have on 3ds!

Re: Random: Paris Hilton Ponders Why We Don't Have Nintendogs On Our Smartphones Yet

Nintendogs came out in an age where mobile gaming was limited to hanheld consoles... Now it might really be a great time to reinvent the IP on Switch while regular pet lovers cuddle their phones... They could get the game on smartphones and do something else on Switch... Just as they reinvent their IP's with new game styles from now and then A side scrolling Nintendogs game where puppies search for touchscreen love? I'd play that on Switch!

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Already Surpassed Wii U's Lifetime Sales In Japan

I don't believe 3rd party developers would miss such a large consumer basis... The question is, will they get on board (or have gotten) on time?
Nintendo still has great IP's left that can hop on Switch, and they still can create great&succesful new IP's for Switch (hello, Splatoon).
Bethesda did its part, Take Two is doing ok to start, but we all know their big guns are not LA Noire and NBA2k... EA, well. Don't stop at Fifa. Ubisoft? We love Rayman and spinoffs but you got much more in your sleeves. Activision?
Bring it on, guys! Make new games, make ports, make whatever you want. Just bring good games to this monster.
I mean, after DOOM, Skyrim and Wolfie...

Re: Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Passes Four Million Global Sales

First couple of days I played this game, I wasn't that amazed. I was always "trying" to do things, and it wasn't satisfactory. I left it. Then I decided to continue. And I realized these eartly days were just part of a longer-than-I-thought introduction. Now, I just can't stop. And I haven't played it online yet!!!
