Given how slow they are to release games and the fact that 90% of them no one has heard of of cares about I'm gonna say they need to ramp this up

@Yosher There is still a major shortage of both system. There is a world wide shortage of silicone chips. There was likely a stock pile of the lite to keep selling but the Ps5 and Xbox being new tech there wouldnt have been.

@Yosher I mean, yeah, but by the time the lite came out the majority of people already had a PS4 and Xbox One and people stopped buying them as the new consoles were coming out.

Dont get me wrong i love my Switch its a fantastic system, but its hard to compare the 3 system sales

@Madder128 Seriously? Thats not how things work i dont get review copies of games. I can see for myself in every single review that its terrible. There are no positive reviews for this game what so ever. New games are $80 in Canada and this game clearly isn't worth $20.

You can see from any content, including what SE official posts that it has fundamental flaws. You dont always need to play a game to know its going to be terrible unless you are reviewing it as a profession

@Isaix Its your opinion that its trash but how it is barely a game? Just because the battle system is different it doesnt make it not a game. You still have to fast swap classes. Granted it wasnt great as manually selecting skills etc was pretty pointless. But in some tougher fights it got pretty fast paced.

@Madder128 There is no way I'm blowing money on it. I get to ignore IGN etc but when every day people are ***** on it i know to ignore it, as do most people.

@NintendoKnight FF13 was miles better than people gave it credit for. I thought the art style was amazing, the sound track was perfect and i even liked the battle system.

FF15 i felt the story lacked big time but the world and music was amazing. But i did play it on launch so maybe the story is feels better now.

@Henmii I would say its close. Sonic 06 was unplayable. At least this is 'Playable' haha...just dont

@Madder128 No..the fact that its a horrible garbage trash fire of a game killed sales. Every single review, even independent Youtubers and streaming are talking about how trashy it is. It has simple design flaws that were eliminated decades ago in gaming.

Im all for consoles exclusives. But making a game exclusive to a platform no one gives a ***** about is a little stupid.

Thats an easy answer...hell no.

@RupeeClock Maybe avoid Balan Wonderworld. People already did an early review on it and apparently its beyond bad. Like, nothing good to say about it and entirely broken mess bad.

Fix terraforming for one. But the easiest and i cant believe this has to be said in 2021, when you have a shovel or terraform tool, highlight the spot on the ground where you are going to dig....seriously...how was that not a play test issue.

@J-Biz I missed that, well heres hoping thats true because man that current app has been broken for years.

So stupid. This app has been broken on PS4, Smart TVS and Android for at least the last 3 years and always has the same issues. They say report it and then ignore it.
Bringing out a Switch version while every other version is still broken is stupid.

imagine a Metroid world? They could do something similar to Star Wars where they have a full-size ship you can walk around.

@electrolite77 Its difficult but Nintendo has kind of been lazy too.
Last Donkey Kong was 2014, they keep sleeping on Metroid, no original IPs since Splatoon.
It seems they are really good at original hardware and give up on games.

Can we just be honest here and say that Nintendo hasn't had an original idea for a game in many many years?

What was the last original idea?
Pikmin, 2001?

Everything else has just been variations of something that already exists. Pokemon is just rinse and repeat and it seems they keep giving it the lowest budget possible with lazy games.

@Brutchie-bear I still enjoy the games you cant get anywhere else like Mario and Zelda. But beyond that content is always cheaper on other systems. I mean they screwed over the entire Youtube community with their anti consumer and anti streamer policies.

@TheFrenchiestFry It was not really shot for shot. The remake had alot of extras areas not in the original.

Its still numbered technically its even in the name of the game and they show it clearly in the logo.

@Nymos They have to keep up their legacy of being anti consumer. Wouldnt be Nintendo if they didnt ***** the consumer.

And in 4 years they havent done a single update to the OS despite people wanting it. And in true Nintendo fashion they have sqandered potential such as N64 game, a proper NES and SENS Library and even Gamecube.

Still no folders, still a theme section with just black and white, still no party functionlity when other system have had that for about 15 years.

Their youtube policy, the price fixing of 1st party titles. Never updating the Switch OS even though consumers have been asking for theme and folders etc since launch.

Nintendo is the definition of anti-consumer.

Thats awesome but its still a broke mess combat wise.

I'm going to wait for real reviews and final verdicts. The first one was good but really needed a Switch port. I didnt even finish the first one but i heard how stupid the repeat filler was.

I really want Skyward sword but we all know its going to be full price for a 9 year old game with virtually no work done to it beyond a simple upscale. We know this because Nintendo is a bunch of crooks with their prices.

And dont @ me, we all know their pricing is a joke for software.
When a collection of 3 mario games is full price but then they release a single 9 year old game for for the same price its obvious their pricing structure is a joke.

I'd be happy with anything given how slow its been for the Switch in a long time. Xenoblade Chronicles X really needs to happen thats for damn sure.
FF 7 R might be a bit of a stretch on the Switch haha

Jesus, scrapping the bottom of the barrel this time. Such an amazing back catalog and we get whatever this is.

I will never understand the hype for this game. I played 30ish hours and i wanted it to be over the entire time.

I love how Nintendo has such a massive back catalog on NES and SNES and half the games added so far no one has ever heard of.

@Anti-Matter I stopped playing it because at the later levels the difficulty spike was absolutely stupid. I think i got to the haunted world and the damn enemies that can just popup anywhere, ignore cover and murder you was stupid.

@FaroreAbhorsen So i did get the second jobs, well the ones i could get to without being killed. I did all chapters ones, then 2s. But half way through the 3s even the smaller enemies could lock me out of attacking. My hits were doing something.

I read that better gear helps but the better gear is stupid money.
I think i may have ignored the thief too long and i could have stolen some really good gear. i didnt do any of the bargaining stuff either so its all full price.

Im thinking that if you pick a certain order it screws you from finishing the game. Now i either have to grind for EXP or grind for gold and it just annoyed me.

And man i wanted to love it so bad. That art style and music is just perfect.

@ShadJV Xenoblade did it right. It was sort of a grind but it was hidden so well behind side quests and exploration that it just didnt matter. Persona 5 Royal nailed it, no need to grind. your level is always just about right and always keeps you going forward.

Dont hate me for this, but screw Octopath Traveller. Amazing art style epic sound design and soundtrack. But the grinding needed was horrific and it was ignored in so many reviews.

IT should have been everything i loved, but i got to a point where i couldnt do anything. Even using the EXP tricks didnt work.

Konami just need to tell off their IPs at this point. Sitting on a gold mind and they refuse to use them. Then when they do they butcher it.
Do what some other devs have done and license it out.

@KillerBOB You do realize that the money Canadian pay for health care really isnt that bad right? Consider almost everything is covered and you never have to worry about choosing to live, and be in debt for live, or die.
In the US insurance is stupid. Even if you have it alot of ***** isnt even covered depending on the provider. i then you have deductibles.

@KillTheG1mp Funny you should say that. I beleive $ after is used mostly for french provinces like Quebec but $ before is rest of Canada normally.
I work corporate retail and price tags print with the $ in different placed depending if its english or french

I would say Donkey Kong is a big one. Tropical Freeze was the last one and that was a Wii U game ported. 2014, one of their best franchsies and its been 7 years.
Nintendo need to license their games out more or buy studios like Sony and MS have been doing.

Man i do not like that art style. The other 2 looked so amazing with the hard drawn art style but this looks so dull and life less.

@Jakiboy Crash should be fine. They just did the remakes. Toys for Bob did 4 and 4 is really good.
