@OorWullie hey man- I know you regularly buy from other eshop. Is this an easy thing to do? Also if you do is the game then locked under a different account. Cheers.

Other than some Neo Geo titles every now and again my Switch has been getting very little use. I have just completed Bloodborne and I have to say it may have knocked Breath of the Wild off the best game I’ve played type spot.
Now on Mad Max and I’m enjoying it so far. Just ordered Dark Souls 3 and have recently purchased a skunk box for my Atari Jaguar. I can now run home brew Roma through it. Been playing a lot of the original Star Wars arcade.

@Crono1973 born in 72- will never get bored of back to the future or the goonies. I just rewatched all 160+ episodes of Magnum and it held up completely. Way better than most modern TV with regards to characters. However I’m not so rose tinted that I can’t see the bad too- lots of tosh was made musically, movie wise and TV in the 70s and 80s. I tried rewatching man from Atlantis- I got ten mins in before bailing. 😂

Re: Night Trap, The Infamous Mega CD Classic, Is Switch Bound

@OorWullie I vaguely remember getting ground zero Texas on the mega cd but couldn’t tell you what the hell it was about. Incidentally I nabbed a copy of Night trap from LRG on the PS4 last year. Before I opened it I decided that I needed rebooteroids from AtariAge on the Jag more. Listed the disc sealed on eBay and some nutter gave me 90 quid for it. True story.

@Matthewxcv yep but be warned- if you haven’t played any of the souls games before- which I hadn’t you’re in for a hell of a shock. You will die- a LOT. However that is an integral part of the game and the learning curve. You can’t go into battles weapon held high and hack and slash. You need to understand all enemies and learn how to parry them and avoid. I’m utterly in love with it and yes I would say it’s easily as good as breath of the wild.
Enjoy- and if you need any tips or help drop me a message. 👊

Well I bought thimbleweed park which is great so far and punch out but bloodborne has consumed me. It’s up there with breath of the wild for me. Also discovered that the Jeff Minter classics jaguar cart had a hidden game on it so I’ve also been playing the st version of grid runner.

Re: HAMSTER Accidentally Leaks Two Upcoming ACA Switch Releases

@OorWullie you need to get yourself an Atari Jaguar mate. The home brew community there is incredible. It’s unbelievable that guys are making games in their houses and releasing them. I’ve bought 13 carts since October. They aren’t cheap but the love that has gone into them shines through. I’ve been playing Xenon 2 this weekend and it’s superb. 😘

@chardir on the ps store where they always are. Honestly discounts on the eshop are laughable. I just picked up Wolfenstein the new order for 5 quid over there. Every week more games are discounted heavily. The best we get on the shop is a few pounds off already over priced games. It’s becoming a joke.

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?

I’m all about the Atari Jaguar again as three new homebrew carts arrived this week. So I’m playing Dragon Breed, Switchblade and Bionic Commando. As well as that I’m progressing through Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture and Wolfenstein The Old Blood. Sorry Switch- maybe next week.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Life's Favourite Games From Switch's First Year

@OldMcGroin i realise that- the article title doesn’t reflect that hence when I read the choices I was a tad confused. I wasn’t knocking the actual article at all. I’m sorry if it came across that way.
Any ho mine would be
Tumbleseed
Thumper
Golf story
La noir
Doom
Shantae

I haven’t played enough of enter the gungeon or Stardew Valley yet to comment.

It’s also been great to have all the Neo Geo titles on the go.
