@OorWullie hey man- I know you regularly buy from other eshop. Is this an easy thing to do? Also if you do is the game then locked under a different account. Cheers.
Other than some Neo Geo titles every now and again my Switch has been getting very little use. I have just completed Bloodborne and I have to say it may have knocked Breath of the Wild off the best game I’ve played type spot. Now on Mad Max and I’m enjoying it so far. Just ordered Dark Souls 3 and have recently purchased a skunk box for my Atari Jaguar. I can now run home brew Roma through it. Been playing a lot of the original Star Wars arcade.
I just don’t understand someone who pays these prices for digital games. All of them are cheaper in physical form- and that’s the sale prices! It’s bonkers.
@Crono1973 born in 72- will never get bored of back to the future or the goonies. I just rewatched all 160+ episodes of Magnum and it held up completely. Way better than most modern TV with regards to characters. However I’m not so rose tinted that I can’t see the bad too- lots of tosh was made musically, movie wise and TV in the 70s and 80s. I tried rewatching man from Atlantis- I got ten mins in before bailing. 😂
Just a note to everyone asking for windjammers- it ain’t going to happen. I’m pretty sure that is now owned by someone else- hence the PS4/vita game which isn’t a hamster release.
@OorWullie I vaguely remember getting ground zero Texas on the mega cd but couldn’t tell you what the hell it was about. Incidentally I nabbed a copy of Night trap from LRG on the PS4 last year. Before I opened it I decided that I needed rebooteroids from AtariAge on the Jag more. Listed the disc sealed on eBay and some nutter gave me 90 quid for it. True story.
@Moroboshi876 I sold my AES for that exact reason. It was impossible to collect for. Got a Neo Geo CD instead- I can put up with the loading times. I grew up in the era of games on cassettes.
@Matthewxcv yep but be warned- if you haven’t played any of the souls games before- which I hadn’t you’re in for a hell of a shock. You will die- a LOT. However that is an integral part of the game and the learning curve. You can’t go into battles weapon held high and hack and slash. You need to understand all enemies and learn how to parry them and avoid. I’m utterly in love with it and yes I would say it’s easily as good as breath of the wild. Enjoy- and if you need any tips or help drop me a message. 👊
Well I bought thimbleweed park which is great so far and punch out but bloodborne has consumed me. It’s up there with breath of the wild for me. Also discovered that the Jeff Minter classics jaguar cart had a hidden game on it so I’ve also been playing the st version of grid runner.
@OorWullie you need to get yourself an Atari Jaguar mate. The home brew community there is incredible. It’s unbelievable that guys are making games in their houses and releasing them. I’ve bought 13 carts since October. They aren’t cheap but the love that has gone into them shines through. I’ve been playing Xenon 2 this weekend and it’s superb. 😘
@chardir on the ps store where they always are. Honestly discounts on the eshop are laughable. I just picked up Wolfenstein the new order for 5 quid over there. Every week more games are discounted heavily. The best we get on the shop is a few pounds off already over priced games. It’s becoming a joke.
@Tate24 nope it isn’t just you. Switch eshop prices are hilarious for some games. Siberia for example- I could have bought parts 1 and 2 on PS store the other week for less than £5.
I’m all about the Atari Jaguar again as three new homebrew carts arrived this week. So I’m playing Dragon Breed, Switchblade and Bionic Commando. As well as that I’m progressing through Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture and Wolfenstein The Old Blood. Sorry Switch- maybe next week.
@OldMcGroin i realise that- the article title doesn’t reflect that hence when I read the choices I was a tad confused. I wasn’t knocking the actual article at all. I’m sorry if it came across that way. Any ho mine would be Tumbleseed Thumper Golf story La noir Doom Shantae
I haven’t played enough of enter the gungeon or Stardew Valley yet to comment.
It’s also been great to have all the Neo Geo titles on the go.
@NewAdvent golf story I love but the game I put the most hours into other than Zelda was tumbleseed. I really got addicted to its difficulty. Since the update, I can’t recommend that title enough.
@OorWullie i have stakes winners on the Neo cd and it’s is a very good game. It’s going to be nice to have it in English so I can play it properly mind. 😂
Quite possibly- I have a massively wide range in music but I love soundtracks, especially on vinyl. I was listening to the soundtracks of Iron Fist and Owlboy last night. 👊

Re: Video: Here Are 10 New Switch Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In May
@gatorboi352 I think it roughly translates to- I can play games whilst taking a dump.
Re: Nintendo Download: 3rd May (Europe)
Got stakes winner as my Neo Geo cd version is Japanese only. Booted up stakes winner and it’s japanese only. 😂 great game still.
Re: Review: Wild Guns Reloaded (Switch)
Sorry my cut off point for digital games is £15- and I hate actually paying that. Physical or sale for me.
Re: HAMSTER Reveals Next Batch Of Sports Heavy Neo Geo Releases

@1UP_MARIO yes- yes he does. And he does it all the time. The guy is like a TV preacher.
Re: Review: Gururin (Switch eShop / Neo Geo)
@OorWullie I got both those on the Neo Geo CD and they are great. Although it will be good to have a non Japanese stakes winner for a change. 😂
Re: Dark Souls: Remastered Will Still Have An Early Network Test
@SouthpawGrammar 😂 I was thinking the exact same thing.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?
@Vriess life is strange is absolutely fantastic. It consumes you and you literally become part of the game. Enjoy😍

Too busy playing bloodborne. I can’t believe how good it is. It may well be up there with breath of the wild for me.

@Paperboy I was sorely tempted to get the LRG thimbleweed tomorrow but opted for a Commodore 64 mini instead.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend
After defeating father gascoine in blood borne I needed a rest and therapy I think. Been playing some xenon 2 on the Jaguar.
Re: Review: Danmaku Unlimited 3 (Switch eShop)

Re: Amazon Germany Lists Flashback: 25th Anniversary Edition For June Switch Release
I picked thus up for the Jag a few months ago and it’s every bit as good as I remembered it. Great addition to the Switch library.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend
Well I was going to get stuck into xenon 2 on the Jag but I put on Bloodborne then lost the whole weekend. That game is sensational.
