@MarinaKat it's presented like an arcade game. You are given 4 coins as credit at the start of the game, and when once the 4 credits are gone, you get to continue the game with "your soul" as credits. Basically, there is unlimited continues on this game, but each time you continue, your score resets. Also, you can open the arcade cabinet (on the touchscreen) to change the display ratio and whether to show the clock for speedrunning or not. There is nothing much to it but it looks cool.

@wazlon they have their own merits. I got the 3DS version first in 2012, and I had a blast playing it. That was the peak of when there are lots of people playing Raid Mode and I had no problem finding people to play with. And I beat the story mode 4 times. I got the Wii U version just last year. It looks better, but there are almost no more people playing Raid Mode. I was only able to play with someone online twice. But I also enjoyed playing it.
