Yeah... but it's too bloody short and costs $19.99. The publisher of this game has balls of steel to charge that amount for such a game, beautiful as it may seem.
I hope they lift that ridiculous 7-day offline limit. That's just iduotic. If I'm paying for the service for a year, I should be able to play those games offline for a bloody year.
Mighty Bomb Jack is the very first game that I played on Famicom in the late 80s. So this will be like coming full circle for me when it gets released on Switch.
@NintendoRob1977 Once upon a time there was a game called Rogue which has procedurally-generated levels. And thus the games that feature the same gameplay element are called roguelikes.
I actually find it fun to play, despite the absence of any threat and combat system. This reviewer is a bit harsh. Maybe if he looked at it more as an Animal Crossing-like game, it would fare better.
@BigKing If you don't want to pay for Nintendo's "crappy" onlinr service (an unfair assumption, since it's not in effect yet), then you would need to stop playing Splatoon 2 online. Simple as that.
@LunarLunatone I don't have a Switch yet, too. I'll buy one after E3. Maybe Nintendo will announce a new hardware bundle. And the cloud saving is a very good news. I hope it gets better from this point onward.
@sketchturner I also enjoyed this game slightly more than the 2nd one. When I got the jetpack on SWD2, I was like "damn, this game is just ridiculous". In the first game, you have to mind where you dig and have to plan ahead with ladders and lamps. The 2nd one just gives you all the conveniences.
@Dr_Corndog I was surprised that I have beaten the game already when I played it haha. The last boss fight was not as tough as the one on the first game.
Maybe a couple of HD remasters. I'm hoping for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door HD and Super Mario Sunshine HD. Maybe even Eternal Darkness HD or Luigi's Mansion HD. They can even announce an HD remake of Ocarina of Time for its 20th anniversary, with additional content.
If I were Aonuma and friends, I'd just say that BotW is a reimagining of the original Zelda game (which it pretty much is), and therefore, on the fallen hero timeline.
It's a super awesome open-world game, but not a very good Zelda game. I remember playing BotW for about 120 hours, completing all the shrines, and then just before going through the final battle with Calamity Ganon, I went back to finish Twilight Princess HD, which is also down to the final dungeon and fight with Ganon. I got a bit disoriented for the first few minutes but after relearning the moves and going through the dungeon and fighting Ganon (I already finished it before on Wii), I found that TP is a better Zelda game. I suddenly missed the cool dungeon design and all the other traditional tropes of a Zelda game. I wish BotW was like that. All the freedom that the game gives just makes it move away from what a good Zelda game should be. I hope the next Zelda game brings back the classic Zelda gameplay and meld it with the new open world environment.
Same open world as BOTW but back to ths roots with classic tropes and gears and whatnot. 1 big dungeon for each of the region, plus a few medium-sized ones peppered in between.
@Yasaal Waterblight killed me for more than 5 times befire I was able beat it haha. The other 3, including the final DLC boss, I only had to play once.
@Yasaal Yep, that's the hardest boss for me on the DLC. It was the easiest on the main quest but relentless on the DLC plus the limited arrows sucked. Good thing Urbosa's Fury saved the day!
@Jimmy_G_Buckets what do you want? A DLC with another 100+ worth of play time? Well, actually, the expansion pass does offer that: the Master Mode is almost a different game than the normal one and it is tough as nails. Even the Trial of the Sword is hard AF to complete.

Re: Rumour: Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn Will Apparently Be Exclusive To New Nintendo 3DS
@NerdyBoutKirby I'm so, SO very disappointed with the lack of 3D. What a deal breaker.
Re: Rumour: Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn Will Apparently Be Exclusive To New Nintendo 3DS
@retro_player_22 Nintendo has become too lazy to be bothered.
Re: Rumour: Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn Will Apparently Be Exclusive To New Nintendo 3DS
And still they can't make it play in bloody 3D. Such a shame, srsly...

Re: Wolfenstein II Switch File Size Revealed, And It's Much Bigger Than We Were Originally Told
@Rayquaza2510 BotW was made for the Wii U, not Switch, which makes it more amazing to think how good the developers at Nintendo really are.
Re: Nintendo Switch Online Finally Revealed: Cloud Saves, NES Games And Pricing Confirmed
@BigKing Nintendo has to start somewhere. Maybe later on, they will also give away free games.

Maybe an upgraded Switch in 2-3 years. Or hopefully, a 3DS successor hat can play 3DS AND Wii U games.

@Henbush maybe not now. Maybe A Hat in Time will eventually get a Switch port in the future.
Re: Video: Feast Your Eyes on Bayonetta 2 on Switch Compared to Wii U
@link3710 maybe if they worked on it a bit more, they could hav pushed it to 900p docked.
Re: Video: Feast Your Eyes on Bayonetta 2 on Switch Compared to Wii U
@Racthet916 720p docked. Not sure if it is locked at 720p on handheld. XBC 2 is 720p docked and on handheld, it would dip to about 400-500.
Re: Co-op Action Game Claws of Furry Will Be Slashing Onto Switch This Spring
@Winklebottom it will be on Switch, the big hitter of this generation.
Re: Kimishima Talks Nintendo’s 3DS Strategy Going Forward
@onex yeah, but published by Nintendo. I don't think Capcom has any say about the assets of that game.

@Yasaal the weapons provided for the Thunderblight fight are pretty good. For the Waterblight fight, you are only given 10 arrows haha.
Re: Poll: Surprise! A New Zelda Is In Development, But What Do You Want From It?
But while they are at work with that, I hope they give us a 3D remake of Zelda 2 or Minish Cap or Link's Awakening on 3DS.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Gets Wii U Update To Improve Gameplay

Re: DLC Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - The Champions' Ballad + Expansion Pass
@RETRO_J NOT TRUE. I have all the gears (EXCEPT for those coming from amiibo) and I still have some slots available.
