@Heavyarms55 Factor 5 is alive in some sort. Saw an interview with studio head on nintendo voice chat over at ign.com. They would love to get the studio together and make more rouge squadron games.
@Bliquid Was thinking the same thing. Would rather played this on switch than no version at all. Many of NL articles are kinda bitter. Get over youreselves and get along with other systems.
Spiderman and pes 2018. That game (pes 2018) has its hooks in me. Also I recieved my satisfye pro gaming grip, so I'm replaying doom. The grip is amazing. A couple of sessions to get used to it, but now I dont think I'll ever play in handhold mode without it. Recommended.
@Tempestryke Agree. But I understand that you dont buy each individual nes game, so thats kinda like netflix. But you shouldnt have to check in. Im still playing psone classics I bought on my vita, and thats almost never connected to wifi. I bought it therefore its mine. Its kinda ludacris, every service have their own take on ownership of digital content. I've bought physical games thats not on the disc. Whats the point.
And the fact you must "check in" to the internet every 7 days to confirm that you do indeed "own" the nes classics is just dumb. You should have offline access to those as long as youre subscription is active. 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
I'm surprised they managed to keep any games secret. I'm on the every game on switch side, so will be picking up a couple of ff games. But I hope nintendo offer more games from their back catalouge, and not only nes games. But all in all it was a strong direct.
@Mossii FF VII is the game I have the most nostalgia for, great story and music. I also remembering loving the combat system of XII. But FF VII is a pretty safe bet if you like jrpgs.
I've played abot 15 hours and opened a fair bit of the map. I want to play more, its an awesome game. I think the difficulty is leaning towards frustrating. Playing The messanger now, and I think the difficulty in that game hits the sweet spot.
@Ooyah Then I think you will love dead cells. You start with a different loadout each time, forcing you to experiment. But its so much fun. And a deep tactical element in the different gears special effects, such as damage multipliers, weapon scaling etc. You can build your run into a dps beast
@Ooyah I should have liked hollow knight better than dead cells on paper. Big fan of metroidvanias and not so much rouge likes. But dead cells might be my game of the year. The gameplay loop is rewarding enough to make it very compelling. Sadly lost interest in hollow knight. Might pick it up again later, or maybe its doomed to get stuck in my evergrowing backlog :/
@hatch
Yes buy. I dont like any roguelike games. Its usually a dealbreaker.
But I cant stop playing this game. Incredible gameplay, and enough permanent abillities to keep me coming back for one more run. You wont regret it.
I contacted signature games and asked if this second wave was a part of the initial run of 2000. It was not, and therefore you dont get the certificate of authenticity with the signatures. Just be aware. Still an awesome game and limited edition.
The no man sky next update made me give it another chance. This will be my comfort game going forward. Also, never thought I would touch a lets dance game. But seeing hoe much fun my kids had, even I joined😂
Thats awesome. Heia Norge😃. With the troubled development this game had, I'm thrilled over the success they've got in return. Hope to get my hands on one of those limited edition.
@Nincompoop Dont think nintendo would have greenlit such violent games ;p Maybe something else entirely, just as revolutionary. But a world where Doom never existed...
@lumothesinner Agreed. Buying something doesnt entitle you to get something for free. Its a nice bonus, nothing more. I have £ 6 in gold coins towards my next purchase, and I think its great.
So many of my favourite games of all time are now indies released on switch. Games I passed on other platforms. Games like night in the woods, steamworld heist, owlboy, axiom verge and the fall part 2. But I cant get around maybe my favourite game of all time; breath of the wild. A game that played with my imagination, never giving me what I expected. The sense of wonder I felt playing that game was amazing.
Always wanted to check out the final station, and when it released on switch I took the chance. Dont regret it. My switch has become an indie machine, and I love it.
@0muros Goldeneye is one of the games I most want to go back to. But with no immediate means to hook it up, and only broken controllers, its one of the few games in my library I cant play today.
I liked the way sony did it before. You pre-order and could cancel any time until the games release without being charged. Why should we pay for something we haven't gotten yet. It's not like we're taking away someone else's chance to get the game. Greed.
And also iconoclasts on vita. Its an awesome game. Second playthrough. Will play it a third time if it comes out on switch. Story sucked me in right away. Its very good.

I would recomend people buy 8bitdo controllers instead. One controller for every taste.

Youre friendly neighbourhood (marvels) spiderman.
Re: Talking Point: Do We Still Need Review Scores?
I really like giant bombs quick looks as an alternative to reviews. I've bought more games based on their videos than reviews in the last years.

Re: Sega Reveals Shenmue 1 & 2 Remaster, But It's Skipping Switch
