(Also, my ugh no was not at the design, but at myself for wanting to buy even more joy cons haha. I think it looks quite nice. I wonder if my Pokémon-obsessed housemate will buy it although she already has a Switch.)
Ugh no, I want that Pikachu yellow joy con but I want it on both sides and just the joy cons, haha. That's my favorite shade of yellow (the ARMS ones were too neon for me) and if they sell a pair of those alone and both in that color I will have to buy them... C'mon Nintendo, save me from myself. 😂
This game is hazardous to my health because I can never stop playing once I start so I end up not sleeping/eating/drinking water. I had to have my friend take away my Steam account access for a while to break me of my addiction to it. Noooo way I will ever buy it on any portable platform, ha.
I don't really care about scores but I'll admit I don't really like Nintendo Life's reviews because I find them hard to scan. I prefer reviews where I can easily find which part of the review is talking about which part of the game I'm interested in hearing about. Like, usually how well the controls work is most important to me. Or sometimes I really care about the story in a particular game, etc. I like having headings or something to make it easier for me to go to the part of the review I care most about . I usually do not like having to read through an entire wall of text to find one small point.
@Anti-Matter Baseball has been the most popular sport in Japan, but soccer has been gaining on it for a while. It wouldn't surprise me if it has already surpassed it. And I've heard more Japanese kids wanna play soccer over baseball because soccer is less strict, so maybe those same kids are also more interested in soccer video games.
I loved FTL so I've definitely been meaning to pick this up. For anyone who has played both versions, how do the Switch controls for this compare to the PC version?
I already have blue/red & pink/green but I have actually been tempted to get a yellow set because I want the pink/yellow combination. And now Nintendo releases pink/yellow together! Ha. Too bad I have already preordered Super Mario Party too. Well, if they release a good-priced bundle with nice colors here I might cancel my preorder and get that instead, we'll see.
I was already definitely going to get it but this trailer prompted me to pre-order from my local store so I know for sure I'll have it on release day. I'm extremely excited to play around with the custom controls feature. Wouldn't be surprised if there's another Labo Creators contest in the future with "best custom control" as a category that time.
I love the New 2DS XL color schemes, but none of the clamshell designs are as comfortable for me to hold/play as the regular 2DS, so I shall stick with that one until the end of days.
I like the white grips. Wish Nintendo would offer first party replacement grips like that. I'd like having white ones on my normal pro controller but I'm not gonna buy a whole second controller (and I've heard third party grips don't feel as nice).
What the heck. The pro controller is the most comfortable video game controller I've ever used, and the only one I can comfortably play for long times. The joy cons otoh are awful for my arthritis. This definitely makes me not want to play, while I was looking forward to this before.
I'm very excited for this. I loved the variety kit, but I couldn't use the motorcycle because twisting the throttle hurt my wrist arthritis too much. But I really wanted to play with a fun toy con vehicle still. This one looks like they're all much easier to operate without so much wrist strain PLUS a more involved game makes it a no-brainer for me. Hope they add support for this car in Mario Kart too.
Excellent. I expected this was coming but relieved to have it confirmed. A definite pre-order for me, although I wonder how good the class balance will be in this one.
Eh. In a children's game, of course Nintendo has to add furigana to an English game system acronym. But nothing about this seems like a definitive "and that's how it's officially pronounced." Plus, being an English name for a system not released in Japan, I wouldn't think "hey kiddies here's how you can read this in Japanese" has anything to do with the official English pronunciation. Plus, it'd be pretty hard to fit エン・イイ・エス above NES.
This update seems to have broken my Streetpass. I have two systems so they usually get streetpasses from each other when both on. Since I saw the update I turned on my second system to update it as well but now no streetpasses are showing up. Anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if it's some other problem with my systems instead...
@anglon Untold 1 or 2 if you want the option of a preset party with characters with additional story (most people prefer 2, I liked 1 plenty though). All the other games have only the classic mode where you create you own party/characters. IV if you want multiple smaller dungeons and an airship overworld. V for a single large dungeon (no overworld). V is my personal favorite.
I am thrilled they'll continue the series, as this is my favorite series on 3DS. (I'm hoping for and looking forward to the NA release of EOX too.) I hope they find some way to keep the cartography aspect, as that was one of my favorite parts of the games (and what got me to try them in the first place).

It looks like one of those stretchy exercise bands with handles on the ends. 😆

@roadrunner343 @singingbrakeman Thanks both! This is useful.
Re: Get A Closer Look At The Awesome (And Ultra Rare) Labo-Inspired Nintendo Switch
I badly want it, but don't think I'm likely to win a grand prize. Fingers crossed for a runner-up spot though, maybe?

Very cool. I continue loving all the fun to be had with labo! Wonder if any fishing games would ever support the fishing rod haha

Re: The Switch's Home Menu Uses Less Than 200 KB Of Resources For Super-Fast Load Times
I would like folders and/or a way to pin fave games to the top.
Also it's indirectly related but I would like to be able to sort screenshots by user. It's hard finding my own on a shared Switch.
Re: Random: Amazon's Gaming Pre-Order Discount Cancellation Sparks Nintendo Sale Surge
Was going to pre-order Etrian Odyssey Nexus to use this discount but it wouldn't apply the discount for me so I guess I won't bother.
