The Last Jedi was one of the worst films of 2017. The only movie worse was The Dark Tower, but not by much.....
When someone asks me why I hate this film, all I have to do is point them to the Luke Skywalker reduced to drinking green milk from a 4 breasted alien creature scene. >:[
I'm hoping so! Those games would be a fantastic addition to the Switch eShop. I was planning on buying them before the Wii Shop Channel permanently closes but if they are coming to Switch I can just get them there.
If this is true I hope it causes Nintendo to consider other WiiWare games to port to Switch /ahem...(Excitebike World Rally) ...../ahem.
I always thought BotW took place 10,000 years after every other Zelda. And then once Calamity Ganon destroyed Hyrule, we fast forward to 100 years after that, and that's when Link finally wakes up to begin his adventure.
I got a SNES in the Christmas of 1992. As usual, we had to go visit family on Christmas Day so......every place we went I took the SNES with me and hooked it up to any TV i could find. F-Zero was (and still is) awesome to play!
@Racthet916 My infatuation with the x-axis inversion primarily comes from the hundreds of hours I've dumped into Monster Hunter Tri, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Monster Hunter 4, and Monster Hunter Generations. For all of those games, I had this as my setting.
So when I got Breath of the Wild, the first thing I did was invert the controls because then it felt more "Monster Hunter-ish" to me.
DOOM does not have this option, unfortunately. It's difficult for me to revert back to the original controls. I'll figure out something, just practice harder I guess.
I quit playing DOOM on Switch because there is no option to invert the x-axis controls. After 600+ hours of BotW, I'm very much accustomed to having both x and y-axis controls inverted. I've tried but can't control the pointer in Doom no matter how much I practice. I'm terrible.
Receiving Super Mario Bros. 2 for Christmas 1988. This game was THE hot item that year. Finding a copy on store shelves would be like finding an NES Classic on store shelves today - virtually impossible. We lived in Virginia but my mom worked for a company that had several locations around the United States. She picked up the phone and called a coworker in Michigan to see if any copies of the game could be found there. Lo and behold, that's exactly what happened! Someone I don't even know in a state far, far away was able to find one and send it to my mom, who then wrapped it and gave to me.
Interesting to note that a week or so before Christmas that year, I was walking around my Granny's house and snooping into rooms I shouldn't have been snooping around in. I walked into her bedroom and right on her dresser was the game! I had to hide my excitement and act like I never saw it. Waiting to unwrap that gift was and still is the longest seven days of my life. lol
I have BotW on Wii U and now Switch but I'll still update this version just to give me a reason to turn my Wii U back on. You know, to make sure it still boots up and all....
I've had the Wii U version of BotW since launch day and did two playthroughs of the game on it. Yesterday, I bought the Explorer's Edition and began my 3rd playthrough.
(And yes, I bought the DLC for both versions. I have a job and can spend my money the way I see fit!)
@crackafreeze Exactly. I could then download from the Japanese eshop. I downloaded the MHXX demo from there but I know how to play that game w/o having to read anything lol.

Re: Brawlout Has Passed 50k Sales on the Switch
Never heard of it. The fact that it has Brawl in the title means I will never touch it.

Re: Feature: Memorable Games of 2017 - DOOM
@GravyThief YES! Zelda WW does have inverted controls.
Motion controls would be ideal for NintenDOOM. Can't believe those aren't there either.
Re: Breath of the Wild Developers Discuss the Zelda Timeline
@-DG Oooooooooooh, I see! Right.......ok. Man, now to figure this new timeline out lol.

Re: Review: Arcade Archives VS. Super Mario Bros. (Switch eShop)
@DillonatorWright I agree! Turn the filters OFF and the game looks glorious!
Re: Review: Arcade Archives VS. Super Mario Bros. (Switch eShop)
@daveisbored
That tricky jump in World 6-3 where you have to jump on a supposedly unseen Paratrooper, if you walk to the right on that platform, as you mentioned, you can’t see the Paratrooper. However, if you then walk to the left on that same platform THEN walk back right, the Paratrooper appears, making the jump much easier to perform!
Nice review!! This game is classic~

@retro_player_22 Monster Hunter World is coming to mobile devices? That's news to me. Also, all I have is a Switch so I'm screwed.
Re: VS. Super Mario Bros. is Jumping Onto the Switch eShop Next Week
Convinced I'm still financially broke today because of all the quarters I spent on this game back in the mid-80s. This and Double Dragon.
Oh man, I can't wait!!!!!
Re: Rocket League Collector's Edition for Switch Is Just Weeks Away from Retail Release
So glad I waited for the physical version! Runner 3 will also be getting the physical treatment~

Sony can only try to imitate the master.
