The weekly free gifts in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch are a quirky routine here at Nintendo Life Towers. We've accepted the fact they'll always be unremarkable, but they lure us in every time. Checkmate for Nintendo.
This week's gift is nuts. That's not an exaggerated claim, it actually is nuts.
For you foragers the news item on the system tells you how to make this recipe, giving you two Acorns and three Chickaloo Tree Nuts to try it out. We know, right? It's nuts.
So there you have it - share your excitement at this latest freebie down in the comments.

It's totally "Nuts".
However much people complain that Switch players are getting more than Wii U, just look at what we are getting, just a load of nuts
AHH. I'm ALLERGIC!
“Chickaloo” is my favorite word that I’ve encountered in BOTW. “I used to be able to name every nut there was. Acorn nut, chickaloo tree nut, peanut, hazelnut, cashew nut, macadamia nut...”
What's nuts is the Champions Ballad silence.
Hopefully we'll get a date tomorrow night during the GA when it wins GOTY. Well ok if it wins. But I think it should. Though I'm only 1 hour into H:ZD so my opinion could change.
25 days Nintendo, the calendar is ticking. People paid $19.99 9 months ago for something you told them they'd be getting this year. Well not me, I paid $19.99 to make an invisible line that was already in the game green.
Toss a monster part or two in there and you have deez nuts
@rjejr But what a green line it was!
On a serious note, yeah, I'm getting super antsy about this. Reeeeeeeeeeeally need something, trailer, release date, anything. I would be super annoyed if they're delaying it, however I'm finding myself most annoyed right now because I just don't know anything.
BotW should win it. I haven't played H:ZD, but I've got a buddy who said he was looking forward to H:ZD for ages, finally got it, played it for a bit, then got Zedla and never touched it again. He says "whenever I go to play it, it's just not Zelda." Zelda needs to win
"Sautéed Nuts"
Ouch, my nether regions...
@Bunkerneath I would really like to have the tips of the wild channel myself on my Wii U It is a small reason to keep returning to Huryle.
Yaaaah!!
