@dustinprewitt most of that were licensed titles for movies and shows. I don't think we've seen a single one of those on VC or the NOL apps, so I doubt we'd get them on GB/GBC
@Matti Turok has a sort of auto aim, so using a joystick doesn't really put you at a disadvantage. I've enjoyed the remaster using both a M&KB and a pro controller and enjoyed both.
@rjejr my brother got the Blu r1 HD for Pokemon. He needed a new phone anyway and didn't want to spend a lot. For $60 it's a great phone. And if the adds bug you it's $110, only $10 more than the one in this article and it's faster, running Android 6, and has a gyroscope.
I remember there being a story a few years ago about some kid that drove his grandma to the hospital. I believe he was ten. When asked he said that he learned to drive by playing Mario Kart 7.
@rjejr I don't remember the demo, but in the full game there are three control types. Using abxy for movement and the left circle pad for the camera is the default. You can use the left circle pad for movement and abxy to look. The third is using the circle pad attachment (c-stick on the newer systems).
@JaxonH Maybe he played with the 3d off? 4U was one of the games that actually looked better with it on. Why I tell people to at least have it on the lowest setting, that way you still get that bump without actually have much of a 3d effect.
As for Generations, it's framerate has been locked at 30fps so they could push better visuals.
@BornInNorway81 no offense to it was awesome, but a better example would be Red Steel 2. Motion plus mad aiming even better. And the best way to prove how Wii remotes were more accurate was resident evil 4. I was unstoppable on the Wii version. It really shines when you don't have the crutch of auto aim turned on for twinsticks
@VanillaLake I checked your source, it lumps all sales together. That's physical, digital, AND PC. Vgchartz will have a delay, but not that much. It suggest that there are somewhere around 700,000 physical units, the rest are digital.
Again, we don't have digital sales figures for Pokken. The main point I was making was that recently at some point it has outsold SFV. That's what everyone was talking about. Also, SFV had a month head start.
@VanillaLake check vgchartz. They only track physical sales, and in that department Pokken Tournament has outsold SFV. Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't give digital sales numbers, so we can't compare those.
@Danrenfroe2016 It seems that everyone forgot that the Nintendo WiFi Network wasn't shut down by Nintendo. History lesson: when the Wii launched, Nintendo didn't know how to run a full blown online service, so they went with a third party, GameSpy. GameSpy went under and anything that used it (that included many Xbox and PlayStation games) ceased to work. At that point companies had two choices: by and maintain servers for old games, or just let them die. It wasn't financially feasible for Nintendo to dedicate so many resources for Wii/DS games. Not to mention Nintendo's self-hosted online network was nowhere near ready for that kind of load at the time.
Plus, like any old great games, there are always fan serviced servers available for Wii/DS games.
@Qun_Mang did you actually play MH3U or just the demo? The demo was terrible.
However, the demo for MH4U is actually really good. I would suggest you try it out. It's even better if you have a friend download it for the multiplayer. It has online and local.
@Grumblevolcano when was that made a fact? According to an article on nintendoeverything, posted today, there isn't any reason why it hasn't been ported.
My guess is its because Nintendo is the only console maker that hasn't thrown money at mojang for a port.
@Fath Exactly. I know people that'll spend $100-300 a year on a new phone, but look at me like I'm insane for spending $200 on a new handheld every 3-5 years.
@Fath Exactly. I know people that'll spend $100-300 a year on a new phone, but look at me like I'm insane for spending $200 on a new handheld every 3-5 years.
@Yomerodes from what I have found, RK had no idea that they'd get the rights back this year. Back in March they were under the impression that it would never happen.
I think the fact that the PC port bombed is what lead to the publisher releasing the rights back.
@kensredemption I'd swear that DF uses software that doesn't work right on Wii U hardware. I've seen a lot of game play for this game, and even in the DF video were it's supposedly running at 15 fps, it looks higher. I've played games at 15 fps on PC before, watchdogs on Wii U does not get that low.
Idk, maybe. It definitely looks more polished then the other three. And two of those are Wii U games. The draw distance looks pretty good too. As long as the 3D is good and it plays at 30+ fps I'll get it.
@sketchturner I played that one. My first gaming experience was on a PC. Two of the five games we had were Wisdom Tree games, but the good ones. Spiritual Warfare was my first action adventure game and my gateway into Zelda. I know, it's backwards. The other was Joshua, a challenging and surprisingly good action puzzle game.
@3dcaleb Unfortunately this is a type of game that's really difficult to make a demo for. Most people agree that the demo was made for fans of the series. It's not even close to what the game actually offers. My cousin played the demo and couldn't understand why I liked it so much. I let him borrow my card and he bought it from me two weeks later.
@Gen0neD On Miiverse he gave reasons why he didn't include it. He'd have to redue a lot of the game code to include 3D, plus it apparently didn't look that impressive being a 2D top down game. People have suggested that he add it to the minigames though. He might do that since the checkpoints and garages where requested on Miiverse.
@GunstarHero234 No, Nintendo offered to publish when Sega refused. The game wouldn't exist if Nintendo didn't publish. It's hardly paying off to force fans into buying a Wii U.
@unrandomsam I haven't missed the twin stick shooting. The auto-aim is quite good and feels rights for this game. If you hold down the L button your character fires in whatever direction you point the circle pad or d-pad in. I don't find myself using it much.
@Einherjar If you thought they were intense on Game Grumps then you'd be screwed if you actually played it. Not only are you in control and have to make quick choices, but the Wii remote adds to the terror. As enemies draw near your remote starts going crazy with static. If Harry's health gets low you feel his heartbeat through vibrations.

Re: Nintendo 64 Classic Turok 2 Is Getting The Remake Treatment
@TenEighty in that case I hope you don't play too many console games since most of them are useless once the servers go down.
Also, Turok is on GOG. I'd bet it's in the humble store too.
Re: Guillemot Praises NX Again as Ubisoft Shareholder Meeting Ends Without Vivendi Intervention
@GravyThief it's also possible that Nintendo wouldn't allow them. To announce the other games they're making. We'll know at the NX reveal.

Re: Video: Check Out the Impressive Astalos in Monster Hunter Generations
@Ralizah if the face tracking tech is giving you trouble you can adjust it in the settings. You can even turn it off and make it like an original 3DS.

Re: Review: Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice (3DS eShop)
So far, MH3U is the only game that I can think of that had a cross save feature. It was really cool and I wish more games used it.

@Azikira well, the other two Figma Links are $50. I'd say that's a safe bet.

@Ralek85 actually there was a version of doom that played like O&E on iOS. It was called DoomRPG I believe.
Also, there's a game series called The Quest made by Redshift on iOS. There is a PC version. The demo is quite long.
