The latest update for New Pokémon Snap is now live, fixing a pesky bug which prevented players from completing one of the game's missions.
The mission in question is the Proud Warrior Request – one of the many requests handed to you by the game's cast of characters. With a quick spoiler warning, completing the quest requires you to get a Braviary to eat a Fluffruit but, until now, doing so wouldn't trigger the request's completion (thanks, Serebii).
This new patch is only the second update the game's received; the first actually came ahead of launch, opening up the game's online features.

Neat!
I bet this will get DLC someday…
I really hope there's some additional content planned for the future. Yes, I should be grateful we even got the game in the first place. I am and it's been hella fun and worth the wait. But I would love to see some DLC with additional areas and Pokémon.
I am in the "No DLC" camp. Not a fan of renting segments of a game when they can make something new I can wholly own til the point everything is digital and you have no genuine say of what to play and when after the company decides to stop supporting it.
I def want DLC. The game ended with enough loose ends and definitely could use some new areas to explore with new Pokemon.
Gotta fire mine up after breaking it out of the seal... lmao-too many backlogs aka farming simulators...
@SwitchForce
what farms you playing
@Paraka You get to keep DLC after servers shut down. And an SD card has a similar shelf life to a game cartridge.
@Wargoose - If by chance everything continues as expected.
Lost Winds is a good example of this. My Memory in my Wii rotted faster than expected. Now I am forever barricaded from it.
All it takes is a force beyond your control, and it can suddenly be all gone.
I got 30+ hours our of this, completed the pokadex but not all the photos and requests, and am satisfied with what I played but don't want to play any more.
