As long as it doesn’t have exclusives and Nintendo doesn’t get lazy with docked switch game performance, I could care less. I’m not dropping another $300 to play 1-2 games a year at a slightly better frame rate or resolution.

If Nintendo does do a pro model, I’ll probably skip the next console until a pro comes out.

Tried the one they gave away on PS plus (19 I think?). Very boring IMO. The Gran Tursmo of baseball.

Only big game I’m looking forward to on switch is SMT 5. I’ll probably just get strikers and the SMT 3 remake on PC.

I went with indigo back then because it was the “main” color. It really grew on me. I also had the same GBC.

I picked up the first game on a whim, but got pretty bored with it. The overall game quality seems indie-ish.

Not as nice as the splatoon or XC2 versions, but I like it better than the smash ones.

@BongoBongo123 Nintendo tried that with Twilight Princess. Idk if it sold well or not though. Majoras Mask was also a bit more mature.

I think it’s funny and sad that 540p is basically the standard resolution for the switch in portable mode. Twice that of the 3ds, but still not great.

It’s also funny and sad that a game running at a stable 30fps is news.

I’m likely just going Nintendo only from now on as far as consoles, but when physical ends on consoles I probably won’t even bother tbh. I do own some digital games on console this gen, but it feels really silly using a console without physical media. Why can’t I just play those games on PC?

@JaxonH not really. Different aim assists have different curves. MW2019 is done well.

It’s not close to a mouse at all because you don’t have a physical zero and gyro moves in a 360.

Gyro is great for VR though.

@JaxonH the fine aiming with gyro doesn’t really matter much in console FPS though. They all have some degree of aim assist.

@Tyranexx If you really want to play them in order it goes Xenosaga, then Xenogears, then XC1/2.

@JaxonH dual stick is fine. You still have to use two stick with gyro. All gyro really adds is it locks vertical movement of the stick so you can rotate the controller for up and down.

F-Zero has been dead for 17 years though (unless you count those awful GBA games).

I played X and GX a few months ago back to back I realized that X is actually the better game contrary to popular opinion.

DKC2 should have been third. I agree with Chrono Trigger and ALTTP being first and second.

They need to just make more Zelda games. I just finished A Link Between Worlds and it was fantastic. Make more 2d Zelda games. Make real Zelda 3D games...

I know collectors collect stuff like this, but even if I had that money to throw around idk why you would spend that much on this.

@TheFrenchiestFry yeah but that’s not why people liked Goldeneye. The 007 series has tried to recapture that for 15 years unsuccessfully. TWINE 64 and Nightfire were pretty good though.
